Leverage AI to build a profitable drop shipping course that’s 90% faster than the traditional method. The #1 AI drop shipping coach, Jaiden Vu, seems to be one step ahead of the competition by launching the first-ever AI-driven drop shipping program. Is Launchers Academy’s automated Shopify store creation system the future of drop shipping?
Launchers Academy is a dropshipping course by three Chinese-Vietnamese entrepreneurs that teaches how to launch a successful store in 30 days using AI. It claims to be the first-ever dropship-to-brand program that integrates AI into its system. Launchers Academy’s future-forward system makes store building, advertising, and content creation 90% faster than traditional methods. Members of the academy are promised individualized service, live Q&A sessions, and 24/7 customer support. It follows a 4-step process:
- step 1 is finding winning products through Launchers Academy’s product matrix,
- step 2 is creating the Shopify store,
- step 3 is making a winning product promotional video,
- step 4 is launching a test product with AI-driven ads, branding, and social media marketing.
Jaiden Vu is the face and co-founder of Launchers Academy, monikered the #1 AI drop shipping coach. He is a marketing strategist and Meta ads expert. Jaiden was born in Toronto, Canada, but his family is of Chinese and Vietnamese origin. He was diagnosed with autism at a young age, and it led to poor school performance. His family experienced economic hardships when he was a teenager, so he stole food from convenience stores and got involved in drugs. Jaiden worked as a dishwasher and worked his way up to become the head chef. His first exposure to online biz was in 2016 when he tried selling weight loss products for an MLM company. It wasn’t successful. In 2018, he tried his luck in sales again by selling organic and vegan cosmetics for Ventura Beauty Brands. He made some money and used it to start Launchers Academy in 2021 together with two co-founders, Melissa Ng and Christy Liu. Melissa Ng is the business strategist for Launchers Academy. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who graduated with honors from the University of British Columbia. Christy Liu works on web design and branding.

Launchers Academy and AI-Driven Dropshipping
Launchers Academy is one of the cheaper drop shipping courses you can find on the internet. Other courses like Anton Kraly’s Dropship Lifestyle ($9,997) cost 10 times more. The program is also comprehensive. Aside from regularly updated modules, there’s also 24/7 live support, weekly audits, and weekly mastermind Q&A. Launchers Academy offers Shopify setup, website customization, and video creation services. All of the services you need as a new drop shipper can be outsourced to the LA team. You only need capital to fund startup expenses. Launchers Academy also has a good online reputation. The company is Trustpilot-verified with a 4.4-star rating from 33 reviews given. A recent review (Sep 2023) by Jonathan Suen highly recommends the program. He also commends the supportive community inside LA.
I like how the program is organized. It shows how passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable the founders of the course are. They’re among the smartest online entrepreneurs I reviewed. Jaiden has a natural business instinct and charisma that draws an audience. Melissa is a CPA and business strategist. Christy has been designing websites since 15 and specializes in brand design, UX, and UI. Her knowledge in optimizing a Shopify store is invaluable. The business opportunity for AI is also growing. Grand View Research estimates that the global adoption of organizations to AI is expected to expand at 38.1% CAGR from 2022 to 2030. 28% of e-commerce companies have already integrated AI into their systems (ZipDo). Although there’s potential for AI e-commerce to boom, there’s still so much unknown about it. That's the biggest risk for anyone who signs up in Launchers Academy.
Launchers Academy is the first one to offer an AI-driven drop shipping system. It’s a bold and risky move. Many are still skeptical of AI-driven businesses because of ethical considerations and data privacy concerns. A survey reported by Tech.co found that 8 of 10 Americans don’t trust businesses with AI-integrated systems. 40% of them believe AI is disadvantageous in business processes. Aside from that, AI systems can also be expensive. Dev Technosys estimates that the average cost of AI software is from $10,000 to $30,000. I saw in an Instagram ad that Launchers Academy uses Perplexity AI for product research. This tool costs $20 monthly. I’m not a hundred percent sold on this strategy because AI-generated data is not 100% reliable. You’ll risk investing in a product that may not give the best return. LA isn’t clear about the other AI tools or systems they’re using. They didn’t mention if the cost of the AI tool or software is included in the signup fee (it’s probably not). In this case, students will pay for the AI fees on top of the course cost and other start-up expenses.
Overall, Launcher’s Academy is a decent course, but the business model is too dependent on AI. Dropshipping is a long-term commitment and investment, but e-commerce AI integrations are still in the trial phase. AI may also affect the performance of your digital store. Technical issues and system glitches may also downgrade user experience (UX). It makes me skeptical to commit to an AI-driven system when it’s still uncertain how it will change the future of e-commerce. Can AI-generated product descriptions affect visibility and rankings? Will AI product research give reliable results? For now, there are more questions than answers. Learning AI while also understanding the basics of drop shipping is quite a lot for beginners to take. Launchers Academy could be a good drop-shipping course if you’ve been in e-commerce for a while. But as a complete newbie, this course might be too much to handle.
