In case you haven’t noticed, Simple Organic is now Simple Homemade! This has been in works behind the scenes for quite awhile now, so we’re super excited to finally pull back the curtain. We’re still covering green life there, but from a sharper DIY angle—all about crafting, using what you have, and enjoying the process of making from scratch. If you don’t yet, like Nicole (the blog’s editor) on Facebook and follow her on Twitter! (That Twitter handle will automatically switch to @simplehomemade soon, and you’ll still be following her.)

And psst! To celebrate the new name, we’re giving away a necklace from Allora Handmade! I get scores of compliments every time I wear one of her necklaces. Love Jessica’s stuff.
I’ve had such a ball watching all of you work magic during this year’s Project Simplify. Way to go, you! And way to go, Jessica (aka @QuirkyBookworm), the winner of a NeatDesk from this week’s project. Congrats! I’ll be in touch soon.
Don’t forget to like NeatDesk on Facebook and to follow them on Twitter, and you’ll stay in the loop with them.
I’ll see you tomorrow with our LAST hotspot for this year’s Project Simpify! Heavens, it has really flown by, hasn’t it?
“It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!” -Mark Twain

You again nailed the weekend links! My favorite? The adorable post about how to get great bangs! (Though I will never be able to have them)

Love the post on being bilingual. As a mom teaching my kids to be bilingual (French/English), any articles on the benefit help keep me going when I get discouraged…

Tsh, your hair keeps changing! Did you cut a bunch of it off since I last saw you? Bangs? Color? Lookin’ good, sister.

Ha! Just the bangs; still growing out the rest. Thanks! And yeah, I like to change my hair a lot.
Ohmygosh, what?!?! I never win anything! And this is the thing I wanted so much to win! *doing a happy dance*
Thanks!
P.S. I’m excited about the Simple Homemade change too — I was just an occasional checker of it before, but because of the changes I added it to my google reader.

The Accidental Housewife´s latest post: Tutorial – a play mat sack
Hey Tsh,
Nice weekend links wrap-up. My two favourite links were Improving Family Photos as well as the Benefits of Bilingualism. Being a photo nut, there were some great tips for my hobby.
More importantly, I was more fascinated in the relationships between being bilingual and being smarter. I simply can’t tell my wife about this one who speaks English, French, Afrikaans and Portuguese
Cheers
Martin

I wish I could wear bangs — unfortunately I’ve got a significant cow lick at a pretty crucial point on my hair line where my bangs would be. One can dream!

that’s pretty awesome. I like it. I love all the crafty things, so up my alley and we are doing a huge spring cleanup and decluttering. So tough to do with a little one around be we manage.
