“I couldn’t afford college so I went to the library. I graduated from the library.” -Ray Bradbury

avatar About Tsh

Tsh is the creator of this blog and a recent convert to kombucha. She's mom to three kids, likes her coffee black, and thinks a library card, a Netflix subscription, and a passport are some of the greatest parenting tools in the universe. She's written a few books, and her next is due for release with Thomas Nelson in early 2014. She and her family will travel around the world soon after—hopefully everyone will be potty-trained by then.

I am going through you eBook, One Bite At A Time, with a friend on mine. Of course, the accountability helps. I have 3 things that I would like to say. Firstly, I LOVE the morning routine. I knew that there was stuff that if I did them, the day would be better, but your book was the motivation I needed. I stretch – I can now touch my toes. Secondly, since then I have been telling anyone that stands still long enough about your book (and Organizing Simplicity – which my boss and I fight over (at the library)). Thirdly I am on week 5. Although this week does not apply so directly (I do not generally give input into food), I was SOOOOO excited to see you talk about Dutch Babies. They are what my family eats on New Years morning, and my friends think I am a weirdo for eating a food that sounds like cannibalism. I am glad that others enjoy this. Do you eat it with fruit salad?

  2. I like the No Shame In Stillness. Here are some of my “Good Reads” for the week: http://a-heart4home.blogspot.com/2011/10/good-reads-october-22nd.html

  4. Thank you so much for linking to the How to Awaken Mama Bear post! I unfortunately have personal experience with this topic, having gone through a very painful experience with my son and a handy man we hired. I hope many readers click over and read this wonderful reminder to trust our instincts as mothers. That little bit of added vigilance and willingness to step in when things don’t feel quite right could save your child and the rest of your family from suffering unnecessary and unfortunately all too common pain.
