Week of Giveaways

The next Week of Giveaways on Simple Mom is May 25-29, 2009.  All week long, the blog’s content will be your business!  Each giveaway contest will have its own post, and there will be a link to that post on the home page for the duration of the contest.

The Fine Print

Here are the details you need to know about this event:

• Simple Mom is about… well, simple living.  The companies and prizes featured in the Week of Giveaways should reflect this, and should fit in one of the categories covered on Simple Mom – food and drink, green and frugal living, making your home a haven, kids, money management, organizing, productivity, marriage, and taking care of yourself.

• The prize’s value must be a minimum of around $50. In other words, if your item is valued at $10, plan on donating five.  If your prize is valued at $46, one prize is fine.

• Due to the demand for participating in a giveaway on Simple Mom, the cost for a spot in the Week of Giveaways is either $25, or one of your retail items valued at $50.  This means that your entry will be at least a $50 prize for a Simple Mom reader (or readers), plus a $50 item or a $25 payment sent to me.  Giveaways on Simple Mom create quite a buzz around the internet, and monthly ad space starts at $300.  So this is a great deal for good exposure!

• Plan on sending the prize to the winners directly (not to me, in other words).  If you’re unable to ship outside the U.S., please let me know ahead of time.  Otherwise, your giveaway will open to all readers, both in the U.S. and internationally.

• I reserve the right to decline a giveaway on the basis that the product is simply not a good match for Simple Mom readers.

You must send in your entry no later than Friday, May 15. Unfortunately, I’m unable to make any exceptions to this.
