My decorating style is still in the late Mother-in-Law stage… meaning most of our furniture was free or handed down from someone we know. It’s a bit eclectic, but functional, and best of all, it fits our tight budget.
My decorating style is anything that can be jumped on, spilled on, and colored on, and I don’t break down in tears ;0) Mostly yard sale chic, but it’s only for a while, till my littles aren’t little anymore…
Spookygirl´s last blog post…My kids love the Wii..
My decorating style boils down to one thing: natural materials. For nearly everything I own, it is made of either wood, metal, glass, crystal, paper, fired clay, seashells, etc. The main exception are kids toys/equipment, of which many are plastic, and kitchen stuff like tupperware. I try to find things of both quality and beauty.
My decorating style is comfortable classics with a modern twist.
My decorating style is whatever is “free” right now since I am on a tight budget. But within the relm of “free” I lean towards a nautical cottage feel – chart maps, seaside photos, boat accessories, etc. We even have a lobster trap in our living room!

I guess you would say my style is eclectic, whatever I like I use.I do seem to gravitate to folk artsy and old.I am a huge fan of earthtones.
my style is ecletic — I think you should use what you love and what you need.

My decorating style is colorful. After living in apartments for years where everything was white or beige my house is now an explosion of color!
My decorating style is classic and simple. I like things that calm you, not that shock you. Though, every now and then I’ll get a shocking pillow
.
I have yet to figure out my style. Sometimes I want to go with the whimsical ANthropologie style, other times I want the classic PB style. But who am I kidding, I will never be able to afford either.
As of now it is hand-me-down…with a few nice things here and there.
My decorating style is casual and personal. Most of the afghans and lap quilts, as well as pictures on the wall were stitched or photographed by me, or are of family members.
Well, like many other commenters, our budget constrains our decor. I like our dark wood bookcases, light neutral sofa, and deep cranberry pillows and throws. I like to keep the “other stuff” simple: candles, rocks, pics of the family–nothing very flashy or easy to break.
my decorating style is traditional. I like to stay in my little comfort zone:)
My decorating style is completely hand me down furniture and floor space doubling as toy storage. I’d like to be stylish though…
Antique-modern? Or whatever you call mixing an antique victorian dining room table with clear acrylic chairs and wall clock spray-painted hot pink.
With two toddlers under the age of 3, my decorating style is currently whatever can be easily/inexpensively purchased at or replaced by none other than Target! What I would give to have a home decorated like a Pottery Barn catalog though!!

My decorating style is traditional.
I have no style yet.
We’re still using hand-me-down furniture and a bunch of stuff that doesn’t match. But with purchasing a new home soon, my fabulous, artsy sister-in-law is coming to help me decorate and I’m really looking forward to it.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I always say our decorating style is early yard sale
I have a pretty good eye and I am big on quality. We have a lot of hand me downs and yard sale finds. It’s warm and cozy and I keep things pretty clutter free.

My decorating style is kind of a country style I guess. I like to find old things at estate sales and garage sales, with a little paint they usually look great!

my decorating style is “shabby chic – a work in progress” – I wish I didn’t, but I definitely have to work at it!

Our decorating style is eclectic cottage
I don’t know if that’s a true term or not, but I go for cottage with a bit of modern funky thrown in…lots of bright colors and shabby paint! One of these paintings would fit right in!
Our style is comfortable, eclectic, and clutter free. We have an oversized sofa and dinning table with mostly hand painted artwork and very minimal clutter. Soft colors on the wall help keep the space light and bright. With little kids around we like to keep the space open without much stuff eliminating the need to worry about things getting broken
Kristen´s last blog post…reflective friday
There is no fixed decorating style for me. I don’t go searching for decorative items with a fixed theme/color/style in mind. I just pick up stuff which I think looks beautiful, and would look good at any place in my home.
How cool! I would say that my decorating style is vintage, definitely. But with a crispness to it.
unfortunately my style is basically functional. I live in a flat with two little ones and space is limited and all used for function. It is nice and comfy, just not what I would do if I had more space.
Julie´s last blog post…Yummy recipe
In my dream world, my style is Arts and Crafts. In reality, my style is cheap and – as a bonus – won’t show the spilled juice stain.
My decorating style…kid friendly!
I have no decorating style….I like country, but with kids it is just cluttered!
My decorating style is minimalistic and earthy.
Gina´s last blog post…Two-a-day randomness
Casual & cheap, with a little but of Pottery Barn look mixed in.
I tend toward brown – probably because I hate to make a decision on a color except in bedrooms there I know it can change easier.
My decorating style is eclectic country, these days supplemented by thrifty finds. And yes still influenced by the fact that I live with a messy teenager and two dogs. Cherrie
cherrie´s last blog post…Giraffe nappy bag
I have never actually thought about this until now. After taking a quick look around, I guess I’d say my decorating style is comfy and organized. When people come over I like them to feel like they can plop down on our couch without having to move junk out of the way. I’m working on decluttering without ending up with an empty shell of a room. My problem is knowing what to add back in!
okay, for now it’s eclectic only because i have a zillion things collected over the years and i cannot afford to part with them…..oh, and also, who can go out and shop for new things now anyway???? but if i had the choice to decorate a room with no regard to budget or husband complaints, it would be French Country……sigh.
My decorating style is leftover college meets IKEA. That way it doesn’t bother me when the spots and stains appear.
Joanna´s last blog post…Coloring
My style is ’12 year old wedding/shower gift’. I have added a few things over the years, but a small house fills up quickly…so I keep it boring!
My decorating style? Can I say simple and easy. Don’t know if that counts or not but with three (almost 4) kids under 5 I don’t focus too much on the decorating. In fact just last week a piece of pottery on my mantle was broken during a light saber fight. I just tell myself there will be a time for “nice” things later…

I’d say my decorating style is … “Practical-with-Kids” with plenty of “Kitchen-Magnets-Toy-Organizing-Bins-Thomas-The-Train-Accents”
Some day … it will be “Cottage Chic”

My style would have to be dark leathers and woods….but bright accents…especially any green plants. I love GREEN! I’m a surfer chick so I like a tropical feeling in my home.
Natalie´s last blog post…IS IT JANUARY???
Hmm… My decorating style is not good… BUT I WISH my decorating style were modern and eclectic. And crafty. That’s what I shoot for. Kind of Etsy-ish…
My decorating style is country cottage without all the doodads, and NO ROOSTERS!
My style is “toddler/preschooler” friendly with a mix of hand me down furniture mixed in. Great thing is that the kids could spill paint on it and I would not care. Can’t wait to get to the stage were we can have a style.
I’d say it’s simple eclectic with a fine layer of kid dirt and toys on top.

I think I’ve finally narrowed down our style to Traditional with a modern twist. I like strong, well built, classy furniture pieces (Like Pottery Barn) with modern elements mixed in.
My hubbie actually created portraits of myself and for each of the kids that turned out looking similar to the photo’s you are advertising. I really hope I win so I can in turn get one done for him, since I am no where close to being an artist.

My mom thinks my style is a minimalist. But it just takes me a long time to decorate. After living in our first house for over 2 years I think have completely decorated my kitchen and living room (finally). I love shades of yellow and green, cozy modern?!! I enjoy my house decor. My husband and I like it and I guess thats what matters.

Our decorating style, and I say our because my husband has just as much to do with the syle of our home as I, is eclectic. We mix large scale painted wooden pieces of furniture with warm modern upholtered pieces. Comfort, function and beauty are the standard when chosing what surrounds us.
My style is casual and inviting. I want people when they come over to feel like they can just relax. If kids spill things or furniture gets jumped on it’s no big thing. We are currently trying to pick a new color for the interior of our house and redoing our TV/playroom.
i’m a modern traditionalists. love the clean lines of modern combined with the warmth of tradition.

I guess I call it traditional with some family antiques thrown in..we’ve been married 35 years so I dont have anything modern..it’s all old!
my style is really eclectic and always changing!
My decorating style is casual and comfortable, with as little clutter as I can manage. Some antiques and some new things…I like clean lines rather than frou-frou. My goal is a home that says “welcome”!
My decorating style is kid friendly, whatever can with stand skates, drippy food and indoor football games.

I love a soft contemporary style.
Um, is clutter a decorating style?
I’m trying to be more of an un-cluttered stylist, really!
My decorating style is clean lines, dark woods, kinda arts and crafts meets Asian. But my husband has other ideas about our home, so I have to compromise with his asthetic as well, which is more early American
Right now I have two young kids, so FREE is what we are going with, and also not plush, because again, the kid aspect.
I would love a house filled with wonderful, fanciful Ikea style furniture, but the money tree is bare right now!
Great give away!
Mid-century modern wannabe.
I like to think my decorating style is minimalist-personal-eclectic. Not too much stuff as a rule, everything should have meaning or be LOVED, and is loved even more because it is quality without us having paid a lot for it.

I would have to say my decorating style is yet to be discovered. With a limited budget, I love looking at home decorating magazines and dream about our next house! I think I learn towards simple and organized, whatever that is!
my decorating style is Pottery Barn wanna be
My decorating style is minimalist with a dash of toddler-safe, though my New Year’s Resolution was to make an effort this year to bring back normal household things since my twins are almost 3.

My style at the moment seems to be early education with all the toys scattered about. Before that, it was a mix of traditional with modern touches. An Ikea is opening near me soon so I am getting excited about adding their style to my home!
My decorating style is casual classic with accents of durable kid-proof! Love your blog.
eclectic. I can’t pick just one.
My decorating style is a hybrid–things from the early marriage days that were given to us or that we bought because it was inexpensive, combined with a few pieces of our own that we’ve purchased.

I wish my decorating style looked like a Pottery Barn catalog, but it is just a hodge podge of family hand me downs!
Let’s see, I’d really have to say I have no decorating style… unless minimalist with 4 kids age 3 and under counts as a STYLE. Thanks for the cool giveaway!
MaryBeth´s last blog post…Missing Daddy
We live in an apartment on a college campus and they provide the furniture so it’s actually pretty nice. Everything looks like wood. It’s all actually fake but at least it looks nice. We have red accents thrown in with pillows and things. It’s a good thing because if it were left to ourselves it would probably be whatever we could find.
My decorating style is a mish-mash of stuff as we have very young kids. But I have always like contemporary.

Let’s see…our style right now is half-done! Meaning I have only half-way decorated pretty much every area in our house. Somehow since we moved in and I have floated from room to room doing a few things here and there but never really getting ANYWHERE! Aahh..the life of small children.
Ideally, I would love Candice Olsen of Divine Design to come do my entire house – now that would be lovely:-)
Nadine´s last blog post…Long in the tooth, no shortage of words
My decorating style is traditional/Mission/Arts and Crafts with a dash of Early American Toddler. I’m not saying that’s what my house looks like — but I would LIKE it to!!
My decorating style is traditional.
I’d have to say hand me down wanna be chic. We’re working hard on or financial plan right now, but one goal I have for decorating is to have a really wide variety of photos everywhere in my house. This matches perfectly!
Meg´s last blog post…Menu Planning
My decorating style is traditional but not fancy–we can’t be fancy with two little ones!
Alison´s last blog post…
Scandinavian (IKEA and a few older pieces), while meshing it into my 1920′s craftsman style house, including a few hand-me-downs…
We are going for traditional with contemporary elements, but until the kids are older it is more like mish-mash with child-damage elements.
A blend between Ikea (clean lines, but frugal), Pottery Barn (which I can’t afford so I go to Target instead), and Ready Made Magazine (D.I.Y. eclectic). I’m not sure what all that together equals. Maybe mush. But I’m aiming for something clean and modern with a little zing thrown in.

My style (if you can call it that) is whatever is comfortable, indestructible, and easily cleaned.
