We’ve got two more giveaways left, and they’re wonderful. First up is from The Neat Company, who gave away their NeatReceipts digital filing system not too long ago on Simple Mom.
The Neat Company believes the solution to our paper problem is not to use less paper, but to keep less paper. After all, what we really want is the information on the paper, not the paper itself. With their products, you can save, track and manage your information without the paper.
Their latest product is NeatDesk, a high-speed desktop scanner and digital filing system that scans receipts, business cards and documents all in one batch. It includes NeatWorksTM software that identifies and extracts the important information and automatically organizes it for you.

With NeatDesk, you get a digital filing cabinet that intelligently organizes and secures all your important information.
Transform your workspace into a space that works. At work or at home, NeatDesk declutters your workspace, providing a central “inbox” for all your papers—ready to scan when you are.
The Neat Company wants to give one Simple Mom reader a NeatDesk!

Wow, I so need that!! Our biggest paper clutters are school papers, kiddy art, and medical stuff. And of course reciepts and things. What an awesome idea!
My daughter’s school papers and art projects from school produce so much paper. We’re looking forward to the upcoming summer break. Thanks for the give aways!
Mostly papers from school, whether that be artwork, flyers, permission slips, etc. I ditch one pile and another pile instantly forms before my eyes. Sigh.
Okay…what is NOT the biggest form of paper clutter would be a better question. That is the one thing we struggle with the most. PAPER!!! We can never seem to find the perfect solution, and this “neat desk” seems so great.
Our main clutter is kids art work, bills/ receipts/ mail type stuff.
My son’s art projects.
Ruth´s last blog post…Chloe’s First Portrait Session…
Insurance statements/doctor’s office receipts. Ugh!
My biggest form of paper clutter is bills or other stuff that needs filing (tax statements, letters from companies, etc.).
Adrienne´s last blog post…Semi-decadal Cleaning
Bills that need to be filed. What a neat concept. Thank you for all the giveaways. This has been so much fun.
LOVE this! The biggest file in my filing cabinet is all of our health records that I keep for 2 years. Thanks for all the fun giveaways. I now have added many “wants” to my list!
I SO need this for all my bills- my worst kind of clutter!! I’m been meaning to scan them in monthly to eliminate all the papers I have to save just in case, but never get around to it.

My biggest form of paper clutter would have to be old mail–we have stacks of it everywhere!
I would say school papers and art projects. I am constantly trying to tame the beast.
My biggest paper clutter comes from receipts for our DJ business, medical information, and ideas I have for future use (but can never seem to find when I want them). This looks AWESOME!!!!
The first things I would tackle with this would be recipts and medical reports!
Kids’ paperwork from school and day care is what gets me.
Bills, receipts, anything that needs to be filed, ugh! I could so use this!!
Tiffany´s last blog post…Seriously? I thought you were brushing your teeth!
Receipts and unwanted catalogues…ugggghhh!
WOW!!! I love this!!!!!!!!!!! Our biggest pile would be drawings. But a close second would be receipts & notes from stuff
The biggest paper mess in my house is school papers, art pictures and financial records. I am excited about this wonderful tool! Organization here I come!
Our biggest pile, for sure, is our daughter’s artwork! The receipts are a close 2nd.
Medical bills from the birth of our daughter.
Brooke´s last blog post…Link action to your right
It’s hard to choose between preschool art and worksheets and receipts that we need to save. At least we’re good about recycling the junk mail!
Gabriel´s last blog post…My Boy
The biggest form of paper clutter for me is old stuff (cards, messages, notes from great books I’ve read) that I want to remember and keep in special places, but I cannot figure out where to keep them. I think I should have this figured out by now, but I need more help!
The piles of three kids’ school papers, plus oldest child’s flurries of creative writing, drawing, etc…I’m constantly feeling “clutter-whelmed”…
though I hate to say it…it’s probably the girls’ artwork! i love it and they could paint and draw and collage constantly, but we can’t keep it all!
Jessie Stimpson´s last blog post…Twirly Skirt in Yellow
What will they think of next??? We have loads of paper. Where to start? I suppose receipts might be the worst.
HopiQ´s last blog post…A Little Peek

gretchen´s last blog post…End of the year cookout
What an awesome giveaway! Our biggest paper clutter are insurance papers…medical, dental, house, car, etc!
Coupons, coupons, coupons!! I LOVE coupons, but they pile up so quickly before I am able to file them!
Biggest paper clutter…the stuff I’ve been needing to shred for a VERY long time (like, over a year or so)!
Tracey´s last blog post…Recently heard at our house at random moments
Man oh man!! Our biggest paper problem is financial record type documents… Those type of documents take up 3/4 of my filing space, but Lord knows if I were to NOT save them…we’d be up creek minus a paddle!! I’m going to sip my afternoon java and drool over that NeatDesk!!
I have several things…but the two biggest ones are the kids’ artwork and then receipts…I have a hard time letting go of and throwing out things my kids have made. And the receipt situation is just that I haven’t found a good method yet for where to put them until I have logged them into the budget program.
Michelle Meyer´s last blog post…BB: (Outrageous) The Devil’s Work Brownies
All the bits of paper my daughter brings home from school and the ones she creates at home: permission slips, information about activities, lists, sketches, plans, doodles, homework sheets, etc…..
Random things that I want to keep but am not quite sure where I should.
This time of year it has to be SCHOOL papers. May. Worst clutter month ever! Then medical bills, insurance, etc. Then, my recipe file : it would be AWESOME to have it digitized.
Oh, and we are executor for my aunts estate. Boy, as if your own clutter isn’t enough. You should see the mounds of paper.
Receipts and random notes, etc. And my schoolwork!!!
Ugh definately junk mail and MAGAZINES!!!… I love them but gosh they have taken over my house!
Definitely kids’ artwork!

steadymom´s last blog post…Out Walkin’
My biggest form of paper clutter is the piles of magazines we have waiting to be read! Of course the mail is cluttering up my kitchen counter as we speak…
The biggest source of paper clutter are all those household notices that pile up in our inbox. Even after sorting all the “to be filed” items and bills & receipts, there just seems to be so much paper or invitations or whatnot that defy a simply classification. Not to mention things need to be “seen” or they won’t get attended to. How to “see” them all without it being clutter is the problem.
Paper clutter is my ultimate enemy. It seems to take over every room of the house! I just shredded a huge batch of old credit card bills, etc. and filled an entire trash bag. I don’t have one single type that’s worse than others. It’s all bad!
Since school just ended, my biggest source of paper clutter are my daughters school papers and artwork. If I can tone that mess down, I’d be in pretty good shape.
It would have to be cards and notes and picture that others send. I want to keep them somehow but they are everywhere. This tool would be great
Right now it’s the kids’ paperwork from school. Hopefully that will change next week!
My husband runs his electrical contracting business out of our home. We only have a small office space in the corner of our kitchen & I am constantly trying to clear off all the papers and organize everything. This seems like it would be such a cool thing to have!
Receipts are my main issue. Either they are a mess or I can’t easily find what I need.
papers from the kids’ school are taking over my counters! thanks for the chance to win!
Kids papers and artwork, magazines, bills.
We still receive several bills via snail-mail, and that piles up quickly!
Amy @ Amy Loves It!´s last blog post…Total Randomness…
papers the kids bring home from school. Sooooo looking forward to summer holidays. = no more papers.
Bills, Statements that we have filed and feel we should keep for a certain amt. of years – just seems like a lot of junk to me!!
Right now it’s the piles of paperwork associated with buying/selling homes. It’s never ending! sooooooo much paper!
Chris´s last blog post…Have you seen this?
Wow, the biggest paper clutter in my house is the kitchen counter/breakfast bar area where everything gets dumped. Kids school papers, mail, recipes, magazines, you name it, it gets dumped there. A basket is there, but it is always filled to over flowing with papers/stuff. I try to go thru this biweekly, but it gets overwhelming at times with what to do with each thing. Sigh…
Our biggest source of paper clutter are recipets from my husband’s business trips. Oh man do they ever pile up! Of course we have to keep them since we are self employeed.
Love this product! Receipts, my daughter’s precious projects, and my husband’s magazines.
This looks so helpful! Greatest form of clutter would be receipts and school papers!
My biggest paper clutter at home is Paperwork from work. Between personnel actions, Highly Impactive memos, and CYB materials I don’t feel comfortable keeping at work, my home filing cabinet has exploded
My husband’s office is our biggest form of paper clutter which is full of receipts, magazines, mail, paperwork, etc. This would make life so much easier!
I think tax receipts pile up the most for us. Looks like a great idea!
Cool gadget!
We are in the middle of moving to another state. We have soooo many papers to organize:
* school transcripts, scores, class requirements
* doctor records, dental records, eye records, orthopedic records
* insurance policies, home, auto, car, transfer info
* Realtor information, buying, selling
* Pet vet information
* Phone numbers, summer school homework, sports info
* Work info
* home warranty info
Oh my gosh I am going to stop before I get too stressed!

Laura´s last blog post…7 weeks, and growing
Oh wow do I need this! Our biggest form of paper clutter is bills and basically anything important.
In the last year we’ve both had to re-order copies of our birth certificates, IDs, and a new copy of our marriage license arrived in the mail today! We lose everything and we have nothing on file!
Please enter me in!

Ummm… I have so much paper clutter that I don’t even know what part of it is the worst. Bills, receipts, cards…. there are piles everywhere.
Paper clutter – letters from school, school papers, mail
Receipts and bills!
All of our medical bills and daycare, especially being that we have to separate them for taxable/non-taxable with our flexible spending account! It’s a pain. And a mess.
My biggest group of paper clutter is receipts. This scanner would be heaven!!!
That’s an easy one. BILLS! I never know what to keep and what to shred or recycle after we pay it, so it all ends up in a box. Great giveaway!
I could totally use that! It makes me excited just to think about being so well organized.
My biggest papper clutter problem are old paid bills. They just seem to pile up and I feel like I should hang onto them for ever.
My kids schoolwork for sure.
Paper is my nemisis! I think receipts and school papers stack up the quickest. Every few weeks I can’t stand it anymore, weed through it all and wonder “why did I keep this?”
Bills or the paperwork that goes with kids. My oldest starts kindergarten in the fall and already the papers are coming home!
Receipts and bills. All that horrid paperwork that goes with bills and taxes and the like. Oh, I hate it. Really and truly.
My biggest paper clutter right now is the kids school papers. Today was the last day of school and all week they have been bringing home papers and artwork.
I feel bad for even calling it “clutter”, but probably my childrens’ art work. We take pictures of it sometimes, but it still gets out of control!
To-Do lists
Emily´s last blog post…Bum Genius
Old bank statements to file are the biggest source of clutter for me!
phone books
Junk mail, I have taken steps to lessen the amount of junk mail arriving, but it really piles up! Then it all gets shredded and recycled.
Biggest form of paperwork clutter is my son’s medical paperwork. I have four hanging files on him. It is a bit ridiculous!
Definitely receipts & all of the paperwork from bills that have been paid.
Kids school papers!!! Especially with the end of the year, it is out of control.
whitney´s last blog post…homemade ice cream
We have too many BANK STATEMENTS lying around! My hubby has two businesses, and we have to keep our statements on hard copy since the bank only makes them available online for a few months. This thing would be a Godsend! I’ll take two please, haha!
our biggest clutter is reciepts from my business and the girls school papers. I can never find the right place to keep them so they pile up, yikes! Wow, this would be really helpful.
Thanks!
medical receipts and pay stubs!
Tracy´s last blog post…And now for a completely gratuitous post….
Misc. “important” papers. Bills, bank statements, medical stuff, etc.
receipts, receipts, receipts! and paperwork. i have to pat myself on the back because i’ve been diligent in clearing it all off of my desk and getting rid of it!
My biggest paper messes are receipts and the kids artwork. I’m not exactly sure yet how I would use this machine, but I know it would help get things organized. I’m up for giving it a try. Thanks for the chance to win!
Carrie´s last blog post…Chinese Culture Days
Receipts! They are everywhere because we want to track our spending, but never get to them in a timely enough fashion because of the hassle that hand entering all that data can be. Ugh. This would be such a blessing.
Em.´s last blog post…Ahhhh, simple Sundays.
For us it is definitely unopened mail. When we get busy, mail is the last priority and we end up with stacks of it all over the house.
Greta´s last blog post…More On Cloth Diapering
Right now it’s all the drawings that my 5 year old does, but as for *grown up* paper clutter, it would be receipts and bills.
What a great concept! The biggest source of paper pile-up at our house is from bills and paperwork. We just sold a house and have been maintaining two sets of bills for that house and an apartment.
I homeschool my son, and I work at home running my own business, so paper clutter is a MAJOR issue around here. From flyers and business cards, to various homeschool curricula and printouts, paper is just crazy around my house! Definitely could use something to tame it!
Gwynne´s last blog post…Biopsy results are in
Bill related stuff. I have to wonder – how does it still accumulate when I do most of our banking online?
The kids papers that they can’t part with and receipts
Financial papers for sure!
All the bills and receipts! I have to have this scanner!
most of our collections are my paperwork i just can’t throw away. kids art, notes from friends, cool articles, beautiful paper or pictures that inspire me.
i did, however, just purge my magazine collection!!
