We continue the Week of Giveaways with Maoli Perfumes, a company developed by two homeschool boys and run by their family. It’s cool already, huh?
Maoli is a family affair, dedicated to honoring and respecting the art of natural perfumery while providing fragrant sweetness to kids and kids at heart. The dreaded day arrived, when the boys and their family had to trade turquoise beaches and juicy mangoes for evergreens and sweet plums. Afraid to forget all their sweet and warm island memories, they asked their mom if they could make “their own cologne that smells like sunshine.”
Since mom loves to transform the kids’ requests into learning experiences, she prepared a unit study on natural perfumery in which making an eau de cologne was the final project. Little did she know what the kids were about to create would fill the gap between baby products and pheromone sprays, not to mention a breath of fresh air for those allergic to synthetic scents found everywhere today.
Maoli is giving two Simple Mom readers a full-size bottle of their Colonia Dulce Natural Eau de Cologne!
Inspired by childhood memories of warm sand, sunshine and cool, fragrant tradewinds, Colonia Dulce is a joyful blend of sweet wild lime, juicy Ka’u Gold oranges, pink grapefruit, pikake and orange blossoms. Balmy notes of vanilla, nuances of cacao, caramel and coconut milk comfort with their delicate sweetness.
To win, here’s how to enter:
Leave a comment at this post, answering the following question: What’s your favorite natural scent?
The giveaway is open worldwide, and it lasts until this Friday, May 29. I’ll draw the two winners this weekend.
I hope you win! Check back in a few hours for today’s last giveaway.
