The next giveaway is from Blue Yonder Ranch, creators of the sweet monthly e-book Book of Days. I’ve been receiving these monthly installments for the past few months, and they’ve been a joy to read and explore!

Book of Days is a simple way for your family to slow down and spend some time having fun together. With this monthly download you’ll make some science magic, cook up a little fun in the kitchen, create something new, explore the natural world, and so much more.

It’s a fun book to print and scribble in alongside the adorable pencil drawings, and it’s full of ideas, crafts, and recipes to create as a family. In essence, it’s full of ideas you want to do but just don’t have the time to think up.

Book of Days is a great tool to kindle special memories with your kids. It’s always a treat to get the next month’s installment in my inbox, so I really think Simple Mom readers would love this!

Blue Yonder Ranch is giving three Simple Mom readers a summer series of Book of Days. You’ll each receive a download link to the June, July and August editions of their book as they are published. Each issue will have fresh ideas for moms and kids to make summer full of simple fun!

I love going to the city park with a picnic to watch the Independence Day fireworks.

avatar Mary Ison

My son and I love to stay at the local pool until closing time, 9:00 or 10:00 depending on the night, but definitely after the sun has set. There’s nothing nicer than swimming in a pool after dark with the soft glow of the underwater lights casting their cozy glow.

We grew up in northern ontario surrounded by lakes. Favorite activity? Swimming!

We now live in southern ontario and a little too far from the lake to go on a daily basis.

Praise the Lord for parents :) They bought a house wht an inground pool so my sister and I and our littles hang out there a couple afternoons a week. BBQ and swimming…and throw in a bag of Doritos! Yum!

avatar Josie

We love to go swimming together, garden, run through the sprinkler and visit Grandma. This looks like it would be a great addition! Thank you for the giveaways.

avatar Marti

I love to turn on the sprinkler with little tubs of water around it. The tubs fill up and the kids can play in their own little mini pools that don’t get all gross without the chlorine. If they dump them over, they fill right back up! Add some shaving cream, little cups, wash rags, squirt bottles, and tempra paint and it’s a great messy fun time with clean-up built right in!

avatar Julie W.

Family Reunions. We head to NH every year for a week with my side of the family, which is fun and familiar, very much steeped in tradition. Every three years we get together with my husband’s family and head off to a new and different place. It is a wonderful time to explore, reconnect, get to know each other again. Both of these reunions have so much meaning for our family, as we strengthen these bonds.
