Chat! Me and a group of mom pals schedule monthly girls’ nights out so we can actually finish thoughts and sentences without kid interruptions. It’s great fun! Thanks for the cool giveaway.
a bookclub
I love to sit on the porch and sip coffee or tea with my friends while the little ones play. Everyone wins!
Mostly chat–and eat–they go together so well!
Gina´s last blog post…Tuesday Giveaway: Weber’s Real Grilling Book
We love to get together at the park, sometimes with a picnic lunch.
so cute! I love just getting together with my mom friends and letting the kids run around while we catch up. I’m also very thankful for a mom’s Bible Studay that I started attending last year – wonderful women, great fellowship, and learning about the Lord.
writer’s club. or book club. or eating nothing but chocolate club.
An occasional “mom’s night out” where we can eat a meal and have conversations full of real, uninterrupted sentences is wonderful! But I also love visiting while the kiddos run and play outside…interruptions and all.
Stacey´s last blog post…Just For Giggles
Get together for book club, get together and swap coupons and hubby/child stories, scrapbook, SHOP, anything really….my friends and I can turn a sad situation into a foot-stomping laugh fest!
Love to eat dinner and catch up with friends.
I love to have playdates, but my favorite thing to do with my mom-friends is to go on moms’ night out. It gives us a chance to unwind and finish a sentence without being interrupted by our cutie-pies.
Just about anything to get out of the house and let the kids play together!! Parks (free), zoo, lunches….. just about anything will do!
Our family is a multicultural family. One of the greatest times for me is when I can be with other mom friends that have also adopted internationally. We have a special bond no matter where we are or what we are doing.
We love talking about the cute (and not so cute, sometimes) stuff our kids are doing!
With my other mom friends I either like to get together with the kids for a playdate or…get away from the kids with a girls night out!
My favorite thing is playdates where we can sit and enjoy girl talk while the kids run and play and get worn out for naptime.
My favorite thing to do if the kids are tagging along is probably the park. The kids (usually) will play and the moms get to talk.
Clara S.´s last blog post…Belated Birthday
I get together every Friday with my two best friends and chat and drink tea while our youngest kids play. I look forward to it all week long!
I love to get together with other Moms with kids that play well with mine. Then we talk and share ideas on everything from new recipes, new restaurants, new hairstyles, new neighbors, make-up, good days, bad days, and pray for each other in our needs. So blessed to have my girls. AMEN!
Have a cup of coffee- no kids:)
I love to have friends over for playdates. Kids play outside and inside. I make a pot of real English tea, we use china tea cups and saucers, with tiny tea spoons. We feel like we have a moment of elegance as life swirls around us!
I love to get together and pray with other moms… we understands each other’s heart more than anyone else!
Just talk and feel like a woman– not a “mommy”!
Sheila´s last blog post…Thank God for Synonyms
We love to catch up on our kids, let our kids play and just relax! These are so cute and very convenient. I never seem to have a pen and paper around when I need to give someone our phone number for playdates.
Tuesdays, my sister and I get together for bible study. I also like to get together and go for walks with the littles, to the park or sometimes for cheesecake parties. These started when my group of friends all had babies at the same time. We’d get together once a month for cheesecake while our babies slept contentedly in their carseats (I know, we’re bad LOL) this doesn’t happen so much now that we have more than one and they are old enough to notice that w’re eating the good stuff while they are eating crackers and cheese LOL.
I would LOVE mommy cards…but I certainly can’t afford to spend the money right now on non essentials. I’ve actually entered another giveaway for cards this week too. Wish me luck!
(comment luv never works to show my last post – any ideas?)
Going to the park, and putting the kids on the swings. Easy and fun, and no chasing toddlers when they’re in the air!
I love just having the opportunity to talk with another mom – so nice to be able to compare notes, decompress & chit chat together!
jodi´s last blog post…Catching Up…Again
We’re always heading to the park – and now that it’s hot, we’re heading to the park with the water fountains that the kids can run around in while we chat!
Lunch or coffee is always nice , just to catch up and have a conversation out of “mommy mode!” Though, I do really enjoy talking about the amazing and funny things our kids do!
Moms get to have time with other moms? Just kidding. I love getting together and teaching a new sewing technique, or being taught a new way of doing just about anything. And of course there has to be food!
I enjoy a good conversation about eveyday life over a yummy cup of coffee.
I enjoy having a good playdate. My sons get to play with other children and I get to talk about “mom” things with someone else who is interested.
Jessica Brammer | Losing the World´s last blog post…Ice Cream After Bedtime
I love to get together and just have some adult conversation over a cup of tea while our little ones play together. Both the parents and the children go away happy!
I love to sit on the grass in front of my house and talk with a nice cup of lemonade……..
I’m a homeschooling mom and with all my kids all the time, so I love to leave the kids behind and have a moms night out to chat and decompress. Thanks for a ll the giveaways!
Toss our kiddos in the play room and have a nice hearty chickie conversation about anything and everything. Also girl nights watching chick-flicks or reruns of our favorite TV shows (Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Gilmore Girls, etc.) are a treat.
Just talking. About the same as a lot of moms on here. But then, too, I read that the female brain is hardwired to say 50,000 words a day, so that makes sense.
Walking and talking, with the kids in the stroller.
Kristi´s last blog post…Something Divine
I love play dates whether at the park or at one another’s house.
Okay, I scanned quickly through the other comments and it appears (at a glance) that I am going to be the first to say it…I enjoy getting together with my Mom friends to go out and drink. That’s right, girlfriends, I said it. I love to go and drink margaritas, beer, whatever. If there is dancing, better still!
Mama Bird´s last blog post…Moving to the UK
We enjoy getting the kids together at the park! Best part for me, it is right outside our back yard.
My favorite thing to do with other mom friends is sit around and reminisce about how we became “the grownups”. It’s weird!
Definitely go to dinner or out for coffee!
coffee date – no kids
Dinner/coffee/wine, etc. Basically, anything where we can chat and laugh minus kids for a few hours!
My favorite things is to just get coffee and talk and talk … I would rather not waste time meeting to go to a movie or something because then there is no time to catch up and find out what’s going on with one another.
Going out walking with or without the kids – and maybe a meal to top it off.
Dinner and a movie, then coffee. It’s a simple evening, but I do it so rarely that it’s a big treat when I get to.

My favorite thing to do with my mom friends is to talk about how wonderful it is to be a parent.
My favorite thing to do with my other “mom friends” is to scrapbook. I’m a very busy mom of 6, with my own business & I love to scrapbook. We get together once a month to scrapbook & have a potluck dinner too. This is my only time that I get to scrapbook (which I love to do) & I don’t get out to talk with other adult women much, so it’s a time I really cherish.
My favorite thing to do with other mom’s are my pampered chef shows. It gives me some Mommy time with other grown ups (its so nice to sometimes be surrounded by only adults)…makes my happy teaching other mommy’s tricks to get out of the kitchen quicker and have more fun cooking and provide their family home cooked meals…but ones that allow them more time with their family.
I enjoy it so much yet I am always so excited to go home and see my babies happy faces!!!
I love any opportunity to have an uninterrupted conversation with my friends.
Love the cards!
A local church has an indoor play area that is open to the public. It is a great place to meet friends on a rainy day or when the summer heat gets out of control.
whitney´s last blog post…homemade ice cream
We have a great group of Mom friends that get together for Bible Study and then lunch. It’s great to have some time for adult conversation, then we get to have all the kiddos together again….
I enjoy my mommies only knitting group or a quick cup of coffee…
Going for a walk.
Lunch dates!
Ruth´s last blog post…Three Months
Happy hour and Dinner! Just to have a couple of hours to get away from the chores to eat, drink and chat like we did as single carefree gals in our 20s!
stopping by at a playground and talking while the kids are having fun
Sit and chat while the kiddos play!
Drink wine, eat pizza and sing on singstar – when the children are in bed of course! When they’re about we love to meet up for picnics in our local park.
We have the best little ice cream shop in my neighbourhood, so my favourite thing to do is take a stroll with the other moms and kids
While the kids are with us, I like to meet at a coffeehouse. There is a one in a local church that has a great toddler play area and open gym too. Its also adjacent to a park. A great outing with rain or shine options.
Now that the farmer’s markets are open though, we meet there on sunny mornings…start out at the coffee house there, stroll the venders, then sit and listen to a live band. The kids dance and have a great time.
dinner out!!!
Walking, shopping, just hanging out and chatting. Being with one of my mommy friends just makes my day!
we love to chill out and have a fun GNO.- buffet dinner and drinks
Dominique´s last blog post…TT- Tackling the PC & Piano
we are having a mom’s night out tonight. We are going to a local salon looking for new clients. they are giving us $15 pedicures, manicures and facials. I can’t wait for 7pm!!!
Spa day or a nice dinner out.
Church mom’s group activities, dinner out (it doesn’t happen often!!), or play dates outside.
We have coffee every Wednesday. . .that is today, yeah!
Go on walks around the neighborhood or to the park.
I love having coffee with mom friends!
I don’t have a good answer because I don’t get to spend much time with mommy friends outside of church functions. But I would love to start a monthly scrapbooking get-together with some friends.
Nothing special, just time to talk while the kids play.
My friends from church and I try to have a GNO about once a month. We change it up- games at one of our houses, go out for dinner, watch a movie. Our recent favorite was watching Twilight when it came out on DVD! Everyone had to bring a food they would miss if they were turned into vampires!
Sandra´s last blog post…Learning Letters- Master List
Girls night out. We leave the kiddos with our husbands and go to dinner and just hang out. It is one of the highlights of my life
Steph @ Dirt Won’t Hurt´s last blog post…What do you do with your free time?
we’re working on finding friends to hang out with in our family. friends for my son. friends to hang out as a couple. as a family. and good girlfriends…
When the kids are around, I enjoy setting out snacks in the backyard in the late afternoon, before dinner. The mommies will enjoy a glass of wine, while chatting and watching our little ones frolick. When the kids are not around, I enjoy a mom’s night out: either dinner at a restaurant or catching the latest chick flick that our husbands refuse to see.
talk. walk. coffee. (usually at the same time
Coffee & grown up talk!!
Desiree Fawn´s last blog post…weight watchers weigh in: week seven.
I love to chat while watching our kids play. I love how together we can find solutions and support each other in this crazy adventure called motherhood.
I like to just hang out. We can just catch up on what we have been up to. We don’t need to even spend any money. It’s the time that we have that is special.
adult conversation and yummy food
we love to work out together at the gym. nothing like a good run with another adult. exercise the body AND exercise the mind (and sense of humor) all at the same time.
My favorite thing to do is anything crafty! It is hard to do non-kid crafts with two little ones.. so I like to create things for myself when i am with friends!
Beth´s last blog post…Memorial Day Weekend
Take the kiddos to a playground and just chat and drink coffee!
my favorite thing to do with friends and our children is to go for long strolls in our neighborhood. the children explore, gathering up bits of nature, and us moms get to chat and watch our little ones explore their surroundings.
i’d love to win these cards. with my daughter’s food allergies, these would be perfect to give to moms during playdates.
We have a craft night about once a month. Sometimes the Daddies keep the kiddos & sometimes they get crafty too. It is a fun get together & way to be creative.
Hang out without kids and be ourselves!
Just getting together, having lunch and gabbing. we also swap out kids clothes and books with each other.
Nothing beats a mocha and a good scrapbooking session with friends so we can share supplies and just talk, talk, talk!!
I love spending time with mommy friends and am just developing my community in that sense, but the best thing is when my favorite mommy friend calls me out of the blue just to check in…it is a treat I treasure.
With kiddos-park, crafting, going to the beach
Without the kiddos-wine tasting, cooking socials, scrapbooking…you name it!
These cards are gorgeous. =)
I recently moved after getting my daughter and have no mommy friends yet…can I still be entered? These would make amazing pass along cards for our pursuit of another adoption.
We go walking together on Friday mornings. We started when we were new moms and new friends with babies just weeks old and have been consistent with that date for nearly 2 years! Sometimes we mix it up with a trip to the pool or an indoor playdate (when it’s too snowy to walk), but we’re together every Friday doing something active.
Our Friday dates were my lifeline through colic, reflux, nursing, and sleepless nights, but now it’s just wonderful time with dear friends while our toddlers explore the world together.
Oh, but Mom’s Night Out might be my real FAVORITE thing to do – it just doesn’t happen as often!
Moms night out and playdates!
I love to scrapbook or eat out wtih other mommy friends. Our favorite thing is to laugh at our labor stories ( or sometimes cry)…Love the “MOMMY POWER!”
I don’t know yet! i’m a new mom and haven’t figured out how to make new mommy friends.
I like to get coffee and share what things are going well and what things aren’t and gather tips from other Moms. I also enjoy reading parenting or homeschooling books together and encourage and pray for one another.
