We like to have Bible study together and playdates!
I enjoy cooking with other moms while our kids play together. The kids have fun, I get to talk with an adult, and we take home a new recipe for the whole family to try.
We go for long walks around the lake (it is really a long river, but it is called a lake) and the boys watch the birds as we catch up.
Coffee!
Just talk! Adult conversation is often rare!
I don’t make enough time to spend with my other mommy friends…but if I do, just spending time together talking about the newest milestones/the way our kiddos are learning so fast is fun for me.
I have been wanting to have mommy calling cards FOREVER! I love the sassy design.
I really enjoy just having time to “chill” with other moms. Having coffee, shopping, really just having “quiet time” is awesome! I know this sounds crazy, but I really like time with other moms when we aren’t talking about our kids!

Anything where the kids can run around and play. Park, beach. We can talk and not have the kids hanging around for us to entertain them.
Bible study together is my favorite thing to do with other moms – it’s great being able to share our views from our unique perspective of being a mom.
We have a great coffee shop here that keeps the kids in a play area while the moms talk and drink coffee!
Crafty get togethers. Moms create and kids play.

I love going to the park with other moms so we can catch up while our kiddies enjoy the fresh air!
I love our weekly Bible Study!
Every week my mom friends, their little ones, and my son and I have lunch. Usually at McDonald’s…nothing fancy. The kids play, we eat and talk. This group of women has been a lifesaver for me (literally…they invited me to join them last year after my oldest son passed away)…I wouldn’t know what to do without Tuesdays.
Go to a local bagel shop for some ‘adult’ time! Thankfully, they also have crayons, coloring books, and blocks if the young ones come along.

Sit and talk while the kids play.
My baby is finishing up 3rd grade so what we mommies do has changed a little over the years. My favorite thing, though, is our “Back to School Coffee Celebration.” Every year I host a brunch on the first day of school – moms with kids of all ages are invited. We just celebrate the beginning of our freedom. LOL Plus we all bring something made from a recipe we’ve been dying to try. It is so much fun and just a great way to reconnect after the hecticness (is that a real word?) of summer. The only rule is no talking about the kids. We share goals we have or things we want to try. Such an encouraging time and we almost always end up finding someone who is wanting to try the same new thing!!
We also do an ornament exchange at Christmas but our B2S event is my favorite!!
toss up between playdates and weekly knitting nights
GNO! no babies, just us moms out on the town, or usually someone’s couch!
We have a local petting zoo that is very relaxing for the mom’s and fun for the kids!
With kids – park playdates
Kid-free – dinner out

We love to take our gift cards we’ve gotten for birthdays, mother’s day, etc, plus merchandise credits for things we’ve returned (wrong sized clothing for kids) and go shopping with what is essentially other people’s money! Somehow then we don’t feel guilty.
All my mom friends from church get together once a month at my house and just hang. It used to be “scrapbook night” but now very few of us do anything. We just get together away from the kids for a cheap night of girl talk!
I love to go walking with other moms. It gives us a chance to get out of the house, wear some energy off the kids and work on losing that baby weight ourselves.
We like to have Bible Study while drinking coffee.
I love to meet other moms in the park so that there are a variety of activities for children of any age to do, and we all get some fresh air!

Anything outdoors – botanical gardens, zoo, park, etc. What a neat idea – this would be better than handing out my old business cards
)
We like to go out for dinner, if the husbands will babysit!
Talk – good coffee – talk – good coffee.
My BFF has four kids – 22 20 16 8 So she has her hands full!
I have a 5 year old.
She works shifts – I work from home.
Our best times are at 7:45 am till 8:30 I walk home from dropping my dd at school, pick up the good Latte – she is on her way from dropping off her kids in school . Meet in front of the coffee shop, drive back to my place, sip good coffee and just “shmooze”
I love our morning coffee’s together! They make my day!
Hmm I think I will write a post about it! Good idea!

I enjoy sitting a talking while drinking coffee or tea, etc. I don’t get the chance to sit down and talk very often, so I take advantage of it!
I love chats over coffee. Lunch dates are fun too, when the kids cooperate that is:)
the easy fav is meeting at a park where our kids run free and are so entertained that we can have a mostly uninterrupted adult conversation.
the one that requires a little more forethought is spending a good portion of a day at one person’s home. together playing with our kids, changing dipes, nursing babes, helping with the hostess’ chores (folding laundry, tidying up, we haven’t got around to cleaning a bathroom yet) and tag-teaming a dinner to bring home to our families. fulfills so many needs!!
Chat over tea.
These Mommy cards are beautiful!!
What do I love to do with my mom friends?
I love walking to the park, playing with the kiddies and topping it off with a great cup of coffee and a chat.

Thanks God for mommy friends.
I love just hanging out and watching your kiddos have fun together!!!

I agree with a previous post…I enjoy time with my mommy friends when we don’t always talk about the kiddos! I love to scrapbook with my mom buddies and would love to start a cooking club!
All of the moms in our neighborhood get together for and evening of coffee and chatting every few weeks or so! It’s fun to catch up and talk without the kids interrupting!
My liittle one is only 4 1/2 months so haven’t been a mommy for long!
I love it when have all the friends with kids over to our house. The kids play in the backyard in the afternoon, we all have dinner, then after the kids go to bed, the adults play games and socialize
Vent!
either a girls’ night out. or playing together outside at a park or inside at a gym or place where kiddos can run. wow, kiddos need to run.
i love to attend MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) and also take walks in the park!
Go to the park or have lunch together.
Moms Night Out at a resteraunt
We like to go to the park and let the kids play while we talk. It’s very refreshing to get that much needed adult conversation once in a while.

Other mom friends? Just kidding but most of my friends don’t have kids yet. The ones that I work with all have grown kids, so I guess I don’t have but maybe one friend who actually has small kids. What we like to do most together is going shopping!
I love to go out to eat with friends and just chat the whole time, no interruptions and no food to cut up!
I love to shop with my mommy friends!
My favorite thing to do with other mom friends is a laid-back playdate at each other’s houses– you know, where every single toy gets scattered around the floor and the kids keep each other entertained enough that we adults can chat.

We have a widescreen tv so movie nights with our friends and their kids is the best ( and cheapest ) way to share some recreation during the recession. This includes Popcorn, Pj’s and lots of pillows and blankets strung across the living room floor. We all pile in, turn all the lights off, and prepare to laugh, cry and scream ourselves silly!

Having uninterrupted adult conversations, whether at the park or at a nice sit-down restaurant (preferably without a kids menu or cartoon character), is the best thing I like to do with mom friends!

I have a group of young SAHMs over once a month for a brunch, and I love serving them and giving them a place to visit each other without the kiddos around. I don’t really have any friends my own age around right now, and this is my fun time with the girls who are younger than me.
With kids? meet at a park
Just us moms? meet for coffee or do both at someone’s house.
either go running together or go get a coffee together. Two of my favorite things.

My favorite Mom’s Night Out with my mom’s bible study group is always when we just sit at a coffee shop and chat. It sounds dull, but we never get adult conversation, or get to sit still for that matter. It’s relaxing and I always feel happy when I leave.
My favorite thing to do with other moms is to go to trade days, thrift shop, and grocery shop!

I love to just hang. It can be at someone’s house, the park or out to dinner! Anything to get time to talk with an adult (that’s why I am loving this blogging thing!) Awesome cards!
I don’t have a lot of friends that I hang out with, but I do enjoy sewing and my next door neighbor & fellow church goer and I have been sewing dresses for our girls. I like sewing, having coffee, and just relaxing and chatting together. Nothin’ fancy.

I love to go on walks with other moms. Recently, doing a BBQ in the middle of the week for moms and kids has been extremely fun.
Clearly I am not the first to say it…but just sit and talk while the children play!!
I have a wonderful group of girlfriends, and we love to get together for an evening once a month. We have a potluck meal, have a few drinks, play games and catch up on each other’s lives. We meet often with our kids, too, but this time with just the moms is so important to us!! We dream of having a Mom’s Getaway weekend T the beach when our kids are all a little older, too!!

We let Dads do bedtime once a week and meet at a coffee shop for knit night!
I like to go to the park with the kids and chat with all the other moms!
While not a Mum myself, I love chatting to Mum’s about life and learning how they teach their children about the Gospel. My Pastors wife (and my bible study leader) Miranda would love this (They are on holidays at present). She stays at home with her two little girls, and loves going to the park and meeting new mums and creating opportunities to share the gospel and her life with them.
My favorite thing to do with mom friends is to meet at Dunkin Donuts for an iced coffee and then walk to the playground from there, to sit on the park benches and chat while the littles throw themselves off the monkey bars!!
We love to have patio hour…chillaxin on the patio while the kiddies play and run around. I also love to digi scrap with my girlfriends…staying up late into the night after the kids have gone to bed
I participate in a writing group with other moms. We enjoy each other’s writing and even more, each other’s company.

SBux when we are kid free… or park playdates when we are watching our kids !
I go to a “babies and books” program at our local library… for the first 1/2 hour we do rhymes, songs, and stories. The second half hour they bring out toys for free play, and the moms (and few dads) get to chat and the kids are usually pretty good at entertaining themselves, even though they’re only up to 18 months.
But like lots of previous posters said, my favorite is to get to go out without the kiddos – doesn’t happen often, so anything is great – dinner, movie, coffee, shopping, whatever!
Playground days, when it’s cool and sunny. Lots of talk at the swings and at the bottom of the slide. Best if someone brings a thermos of hot coffee for the mommas. The kids can scrounge for goldfish crackers…
I love to go to the park – the kids can run and have fun and us moms can sit on a nearby bench and catch up. The kids get a small taste of freedom (even though we’re right there!) and moms get some much needed adult time. The zoo with a stop for lunch and play time at the playground area is another favorite. And occassionally it’s nice to get a break from the kiddos and just have a mom’s night at a nearby restaraunt. Dinner and drinks conversation and laughter!
Just talk, whether that’s at the park watching our kids, or alone over lunch of coffee. I crave that female bonding time that I don’t get with just my children and husband.
The park or a walk. I think my fav would be watching a movie without kids! = )
