Lunch. I love it when I get a sitter for my toddler during the daytime and my hubby and I take a long lunch together. It’s a day off of mom duty for me, time off of work for him, and changes up the routine of dinner out.

A weekend getaway would be awesome, but our last date was an afternoon trip to the bowling alley and that was great too! Anything the lets us chat for awhile without kids interrupting is appreciated.

There is a local Mexican restaurant that puts a coupon in the paper for two combo meals for $10.99. It’s a win/win situation: I don’t have to cook and I get uninterrupted time with my man.

Best date is when we let our kids sleep over at their cousins, go out for drinks & talk, stay up late snuggling to a movie and then SLEEP IN the next morning…just like we used to B.C. (Before Children, of course).

I love to swim with my husband in the afternoon when we are the only ones there and then out to a nice dinner. We LOVE to have great food, conversation and service. What a luxury!

We don’t get many dates with our 15 month son in our lives but we did get a chance to attend a baseball game a few weeks ago! It was great to get out and root for the home team on a beautiful Colorado afternoon.
