I just read through all of the spring cleaning ideas. I am leaving for vacation tmorrow, but I am definitely going to do this when I get home! This is just what my home needs. I will let you know how it is going once I start. Thanks for all the geat tips. I can’t believe how excited I am getting about cleaning my house. (Believe me, that’s not normal for me.)

I am doing this a little late, but when you kicked it off I was already in a major room switch and basement repurpose. So I am doing it now so at least it done before the arrival of our third. The first day was not very encouraging only because the stuff that was on my surfaces was stuff I just couldn’t find a home for and I had to face it head on. I did start a go away bag and pile lots of stuff onto my husband’s pile and I felt better. Other than that since I have been purging since May, the items that were left were just things I felt guilty for not using so I didn’t get rid of at the time. Thanks for encouraging this exercise in our homes Tsh.

I realize this blog post is somewhat old but I found it yesterday and it inspired me. For me day one is probably going to span at least a weeks time, just to get through each room. But I started it yesterday in my kitchen and I did have a sense of accomplishment when I finished. This is a lot to me since I live with 6 very messy people. It’s rather disheartening. Thank you, I will continue to follow your blog.
