This giveaway is now closed. Check back soon for the winner!

In honor of Simple Living Media’s launch yesterday, we want to celebrate this week with a celebration of you, our readers.  And what better way to celebrate you than with a slew of giveaways!

Head over to Simple Bites, Simple Homeschool, Simple Kids, and Simple Organic to enter the rest of the fabulous giveaways.  Each site will have one winner for each of its prizes, so you definitely don’t want to miss this!

Without further adieu, here are the fabulous prizes waiting for ONE Simple Mom reader to win:

1. One Pearl

The idea behind One Pearl came to founder Theresa Wing Hines one day during a very difficult time in her life.  As she was dealing with the pain of sending one of her sons to a wilderness therapy camp and therapeutic boarding school because of a wide variety of issues with him, she realized how few families have the resources to tap in to solutions for their troubled children.  She wanted to help.

Theresa loved creating beautiful jewelry, and she loved the idea of supporting charities she’s passionate about from her business proceeds.  One Pearl was born, its name descriptive of every piece she designs — every item in One Pearl’s store has one standalone pearl that symbolizes a nurtured object placed in a foreign environment.  Just like her son.  Her hope is that when someone asks why your necklace or bracelet has one different pearl, you can explain that it symbolizes one child’s life changed from the purchase of the jewelry.

To date, more than 50 percent of all one One Pearl’s profits have gone straight to charities. Watch the video below for more information:

Theresa sent me a 70″ silver baroque pearl strand, and wants to give an identical strand to a lucky Simple Mom reader!

I love this strand because it can be worn an endless amount of ways. I can double it up for a classic-looking pearl necklace.  I can wrap it around my wrist for a chunky bracelet look.  I can knot and loop the strand for funkifying a classic t-shirt.  I can even wrap it around my waist as a belt!

This is a piece of jewelry made to be a family heirloom, and I love that it’s a beautiful hybrid of classic and original.  It’s a pearl necklace, but its artisan quality means the pearls are asymmetrical, and of course, it has one original black pearl.  And like all of One Pearl’s products, it comes in a gorgeous silk jewelry pouch, made by a Cambodian foundation that trains women in the ancient Cambodian tradition of silk weaving, giving these women a tangible skill.

The winner will receive one 70″ silver baroque pearl strand.

2. Ali Edwards

An advocate for not making things more complicated than they need to be and embracing imperfection, Ali Edwards shares cool concepts, design, and project ideas in her idea books and on her website.  As a longtime sponsor of Simple Mom, I’m thrilled to share with you Ali‘s artistic talent!

Well known for her signature style of everyday-life scrapbooking, Ali is a highly sought-after workshop instructor. She travels the worldwide, conducting classes and inspiring students to tell their stories fearlessly.

Today, Ali wants to give away a package of 365 photo overlays, one for each day of the year. These overlays can be added to your photos in Photoshop Elements or other photo-editing software before printing. In addition, these files can be printed out and used as journaling cards, to keep track of the stories of your days.

And that’s what I love about this package.  You can use them in your scrapbooking, of course, but they can also be used individually in your photos and in other forms of crafting.  You’re only limited by your ideas!  I’m going to create a collage of our Thanksgiving trip to Paris, using our photos like the sample I just whipped up below.

Head to Ali’s blog to see some of Ali’s tips and ideas for these particular photo overlays.

The winner will receive a package of 365 photo overlays, valued at $29.95.

3. Seeing the Everyday magazine

Seeing the Everyday is the “small things magazine.”  Devoted to simple living, they’ve found inspiration from parents who have realized that each day is filled with what might only appear to be ordinary, inconsequential events.  These events, really, are what shape our lives.  Their hope is that with their magazine, you’ll find poetry in the prosaic.

This is a delightfully simple magazine. Nary an advertisement found, this publication is chock full of encouragement to savor the little things in life, like building a tree house with your kids, appreciating your own memories as a child, and learning about historical figures who’ve changed the world for the better.  Plus, the magazine is gorgeously crafted with photos and well-written content.

I love this magazine.  It inspires me on my journal towards a simpler life.  It’s the epitome of what the blog’s mission is all about.  I’m so excited to see this publication in the mail.

The winner will receive one annual subscription to Seeing the Everyday magazine, valued at $20. And because Seeing the Everyday is so generous, they’d like to throw in a second subscription to an additional Simple Mom reader!

My laundry…boy do I need help there, and with getting my floors cleaned…though the floors would be simpler if I didn’t have to pick the toys up to get them cleaned…

avatar Bobbi

Exploding closet clutter, cords from appliances, and reproducing toys are the bane of my existence! Ha ha! I’d love ideas or help with any of the three!!

avatar Kristi

For me it’s the deep cleaning. I’m starting to marginally keep up with the surfaces and taming the clutter, but the stove, floors, fridge, tub, etc. tend to not get the attention they deserve. But maybe as I create better habits, those things will work their way into the schedule more regularly. I hope!

Laundry. It’s seems like it never ends. Once I do finish it’s time to start again!

Scrubbing floors and washing windows. I don’t do either one, and both are in desperate need of some TLC.

avatar Valerie R.

I need to simplify bathroom cleaning. That’s my most dreaded task.

avatar CasieD

I need help handling all the papers and forms my three kids bring home from school. There is always something to sign & return or buy something for. Not to mention I get all the general school notices in triplicate because they are all at the same school! Help!! My desk is over flowing with this stuff!

avatar Erin L.

The filing system on my desk…it is a disaster, I touch every piece of paper multiple times before I figure out what to do with it!

avatar Laura

I desperately need to simplify my menu planning. I’ve made it so complicated that I don’t even do it…that’s the perfectionist in me!

avatar Danzel

Oh goodness. Besides money management? Probably papers. Mail, forms from my daughter’s preschool… I’m terrible about actually using my filing systems; everything winds up all over the house.

I need inspiration on deep cleaning, like the bathrooms, vacuuming and dusting. I just hate it! Oh and laundry too, I leave that task until it is literally a mountain for me to climb, sort, wash, dry, fold, and put away. Yuck! But it is the best feeling to have a clean home and clothes for my family to enjoy life in.

Just one thing? It’d have to be getting my family on board with all of my organizational systems. I am an organizational freak! Everything is organized. My pantry. My craft closet. The toy closet. The clothes closets. My kitchen gadget drawer. Well, you get the idea. Everything. My problem is, if I’ve made it so simple for my family, why the heck can’t they put things where they go? This is where I need help.

Paperwork, mail, magazines, school papers etc are my down fall. I try to keep on top of it and I at least trash the stuff I don’t need, but after that I don’t know what to do with the stuff I do need.

avatar tara

Cleaning up toys, I insist on doing it 3 times a day bc I cant stand clutter, but its time consuming…
Would love to win and love the blog!

avatar Beckie

The task I find most challenging is meal planning and then implementing those planned meals. I like to have what I feel like cooking and eating, but sometimes I don’t have all the right ingredients or not a well-rounded meal.

I have also entered for the giveaway! Thank you!

I think the hardest thing for me to stay on top of is the collect-all areas and the hidden spaces where I cram all the items from the “collect-all areas” when company comes over.

Budgeting & Meal Planning & Cleaning & Organization – how about all home management! I am in the middle of purchasing my first home for my son and I and although I have lived alone before for a little less than 10 years I have never had a mortgage (or such a nice place to call home). My goal is to have a fresh start at the new house with tried and true methods of saving money, keeping a house nice & tidy & welcoming and living more simply.

avatar Tricia

I enjoy fun ideas (crafts and activities) to try with my kids :)

Great Giveaway Tsh! I’ve been subscribed to Simple Mom’s RSS Feeds for months now. You have already written about many of the things I struggle with. Living in a 900 sq. ft. space with DD having a very, very small bedroom, I need help simplifying her room. It is not a problem now, but with TTC #2, I cannot help but think how will we fit another child in her room?

Grocery shopping and dishes. With 4 kids, it is a rather large job.

avatar Jen Hasseld

I would love to simplify my recipe keeping. I have several torn-out pages from magazines, a website bookmarked, a hand-written book from my mom, and random cookbooks on my shelves. I once spent countless hours starting to put them all in a computer program, and then it crashed and I lost a ton.

avatar Emily

I subscribe through Google Reader, and I would love to learn more about organizing my crafts.

avatar Susan

After gathering dirty laundry from almost every room in my house yesterday afternoon, I definitely need some renewed inspiration for keeping the laundry stream flowing.

avatar Stacey

organizing and de-cluttering closets and cabinets. I keep the rest of my house pretty organized, but the closets and some cabinets are just piles of stuff — and it irritates me to know they are a mess.

I really need to simplify my “hand-me-down” system for the children’s clothing. I keep forgetting what we have, in what sizes. I end up buying stuff when I had things that would work in a box in the basement! Ug!

avatar Christine

My home management challenge? Toys & books! Would love ideas of effective (inexpensive) storage solutions. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity. Blessings!

I need so much help simplifying our chore system. With 7 children and very active lives as youth pastors I’m never caught up. No matter who I enlist to help it just never feels clean!

avatar allie

Having just gone on another round of clothes shopping for an ever-growing girl, I’d love to make clothes last longer by repairing little tears and stains. I look for patches at the fabric store, but there isn’t much variation. There has to be a cute way to cover up a tear in the knee!

avatar Cynthia Fetner

The home management task I could use some help with is getting everybody (my husband,my 2.5 year old and myself) ready in the morning – my husband to work, myself to school – I teach and my son ready for preschool. Some mornings it works, others it doesn’t.

avatar Susan

My craft stuff — I need to pitch a lot of it, keep what I think I’ll really use, and have it in an easily accessible place to ensure that it does get used.

avatar jamie perry

My next area to simplify and organize is the mail/coupons/paperwork…some of it lands on the kitchen counter, some on our kitchen desk and some on the computer desk. Thanks for the giveaway!

Before I was home with my kids, I was a teacher and I found that transitions from one activity or place to another could cause organizational chaos. The same is true for us at home! :P ) I struggle with setting up our home (or more specifically our laundry room where coats, bags, etc. are stored) to where coming home or leaving home is easier on me and the kids. How can I organize myself to allow the kids to be more self-sufficient and provide some sanity for myself, too?

avatar Amber

I need inspiration to clean out some closets. We moved a lot the first 5 years of our marriage, but we’ve been in the same house for the last 5 years, and boy are things getting packed. I don’t like to even think about doing it, but I really need to make that space more neat and organized.

I need help simplifying laundry. It seems there’s always piles to be washed, folded, or put away. Plus, in our small apartment, our washer/dryer are in the kitchen, which is open to the living room, so I spend most of my time in the room with the dirty clothes, daring me to let them pile up…. This is definitely what I need help simplifying!

One task I need to simplify? Hmmmmmmm… I have plenty of choices. But for today, I’ll say I need to simplify the way I handle the information that lands on my desk- be it mail, notes, other “stufff”. I need to get back to my “old” way of clearing the slate every day and being ready to face a new day with a clear desk and a clean slate. :)

What is one home management task that you need inspiration to simplify?

My husband has joined the military and is currently 4 provinces away from us in training for the next 6-7 months. We have 4 wonderful, little boys (whom we homeschool) ~loving every minute of it. The home management task that I need inspiration to simplify is to simply PRAY and breathe. We found out that we have a bedbug infestation in our new rental home and are trying everything to eradicate them and then to move to a new (bug free!) home. With everything on our plate right now, it is so easy to forget that HE is in control. I need help to simplify breathing and taking everything one ~simple~ step at a time… I am so thankful for all of the SIMPLE MOM blogs, they really brighten and help to organize our day…thank you!! :)

I need to simplify our paper flow. We recently moved our home office to the basement and it is such a pain to walk down there that the paper we used to bring to the office now just gets left out everywhere. I need some interim solution that is easy to do.
