This giveaway is now closed. Check back soon for the winner!

In honor of Simple Living Media’s launch yesterday, we want to celebrate this week with a celebration of you, our readers.  And what better way to celebrate you than with a slew of giveaways!

Head over to Simple Bites, Simple Homeschool, Simple Kids, and Simple Organic to enter the rest of the fabulous giveaways.  Each site will have one winner for each of its prizes, so you definitely don’t want to miss this!

Without further adieu, here are the fabulous prizes waiting for ONE Simple Mom reader to win:

1. One Pearl

The idea behind One Pearl came to founder Theresa Wing Hines one day during a very difficult time in her life.  As she was dealing with the pain of sending one of her sons to a wilderness therapy camp and therapeutic boarding school because of a wide variety of issues with him, she realized how few families have the resources to tap in to solutions for their troubled children.  She wanted to help.

Theresa loved creating beautiful jewelry, and she loved the idea of supporting charities she’s passionate about from her business proceeds.  One Pearl was born, its name descriptive of every piece she designs — every item in One Pearl’s store has one standalone pearl that symbolizes a nurtured object placed in a foreign environment.  Just like her son.  Her hope is that when someone asks why your necklace or bracelet has one different pearl, you can explain that it symbolizes one child’s life changed from the purchase of the jewelry.

To date, more than 50 percent of all one One Pearl’s profits have gone straight to charities. Watch the video below for more information:

Theresa sent me a 70″ silver baroque pearl strand, and wants to give an identical strand to a lucky Simple Mom reader!

I love this strand because it can be worn an endless amount of ways. I can double it up for a classic-looking pearl necklace.  I can wrap it around my wrist for a chunky bracelet look.  I can knot and loop the strand for funkifying a classic t-shirt.  I can even wrap it around my waist as a belt!

This is a piece of jewelry made to be a family heirloom, and I love that it’s a beautiful hybrid of classic and original.  It’s a pearl necklace, but its artisan quality means the pearls are asymmetrical, and of course, it has one original black pearl.  And like all of One Pearl’s products, it comes in a gorgeous silk jewelry pouch, made by a Cambodian foundation that trains women in the ancient Cambodian tradition of silk weaving, giving these women a tangible skill.

The winner will receive one 70″ silver baroque pearl strand.

2. Ali Edwards

An advocate for not making things more complicated than they need to be and embracing imperfection, Ali Edwards shares cool concepts, design, and project ideas in her idea books and on her website.  As a longtime sponsor of Simple Mom, I’m thrilled to share with you Ali‘s artistic talent!

Well known for her signature style of everyday-life scrapbooking, Ali is a highly sought-after workshop instructor. She travels the worldwide, conducting classes and inspiring students to tell their stories fearlessly.

Today, Ali wants to give away a package of 365 photo overlays, one for each day of the year. These overlays can be added to your photos in Photoshop Elements or other photo-editing software before printing. In addition, these files can be printed out and used as journaling cards, to keep track of the stories of your days.

And that’s what I love about this package.  You can use them in your scrapbooking, of course, but they can also be used individually in your photos and in other forms of crafting.  You’re only limited by your ideas!  I’m going to create a collage of our Thanksgiving trip to Paris, using our photos like the sample I just whipped up below.

Head to Ali’s blog to see some of Ali’s tips and ideas for these particular photo overlays.

The winner will receive a package of 365 photo overlays, valued at $29.95.

3. Seeing the Everyday magazine

Seeing the Everyday is the “small things magazine.”  Devoted to simple living, they’ve found inspiration from parents who have realized that each day is filled with what might only appear to be ordinary, inconsequential events.  These events, really, are what shape our lives.  Their hope is that with their magazine, you’ll find poetry in the prosaic.

This is a delightfully simple magazine. Nary an advertisement found, this publication is chock full of encouragement to savor the little things in life, like building a tree house with your kids, appreciating your own memories as a child, and learning about historical figures who’ve changed the world for the better.  Plus, the magazine is gorgeously crafted with photos and well-written content.

I love this magazine.  It inspires me on my journal towards a simpler life.  It’s the epitome of what the blog’s mission is all about.  I’m so excited to see this publication in the mail.

The winner will receive one annual subscription to Seeing the Everyday magazine, valued at $20. And because Seeing the Everyday is so generous, they’d like to throw in a second subscription to an additional Simple Mom reader!

Caring for my floors. I’m not sure who thought white tile in Florida was a great idea, but combine it with my dogs and my kids and I’m not sure I’ve seen it the color that it is supposed to be since we moved in.

I can not seem to get a handle on organizing my craft supplies. I have a dedicated corner for scrapbooking, but everything seems to end up piled on top of it. I use a table in my pass through dining area for my sewing projects, but it is also always piled so high with other stuff that I can’t hardly use it.

Also, my husband and I combined our independant households when we got married seven years ago. We have too much stuff. Our garage is piled with boxes upon boxes. We don’t even know where to start. It’s opressive, and I just sometimes wish the garage would collapse and take it all with it so we don’t have to deal with it.

That, and I’ve subscribed through google reader. :-)

avatar Michelle

Getting rid of all the unused things we have. We have boxes in our garage that haven’t been opened since 2 moves ago – that’s 8 years! If we haven’t needed it in all that time, we don’t need it. But our plan is to sell them via online auction, which means taking and editing photos, writing descriptions and monitoring the auctions. Which is a lot of work, but will be so worth it to declutter – we might even be able to park the car in the garage then!

I need help with the actual planning of my day. I always come up with the fabulous plans…then fail miserably. =) It doesn’t help that as a military spouse we need to plan in Jello because everything is in a constant state of flux. So excited about the new venture. Congrats!

avatar Whitney

Also, I’m a huge fan and a subscriber!

avatar mamabeck

Biggest simplification need in our home is with our routine. Just the day-to-day. There’s a routine for most things in place to keep the housecleaning, laundry, and etc…going…but keeping it all in balance…PHEW!

Working with small storage spaces. Since moving to Europe I am literally stumped on how to organise these tiny stand alone wardrobes and the fridge/freezer situation is unbearable. I know there has to be a way to efficiently shop and store things in them whilst maintaining their functionality. :s

My receipts!!! I keep all my receipts and try to keep track of finances. I have tried Pear Budget, but because I live in South Africa and half of my expenses are in Canadian dollars and half in Rand… I am really struggling to keep my finances straight. Would love some ideas to simplify finances when dealing with two different currencies. Thanks!! And excited about your new blogs!!!

avatar Jill

I need to simplify the managing the day to day paper… flyers, calendars, information from school, etc. Right now I keep them tucked in our desk calendar but because there are often so many it quickly becomes inefficient.

Dust. Dusting is a chore I hate and hardly ever do.

avatar Beth

paper, paper, paper. Flylady is helping me a lot for routine and the idea that 15 minutes here and there can make all the difference. But handeling paper – bills, filing, etc. – I find very overwhelming.

avatar Karalee

I need help getting motivated to do vacuuming. Its hard to want to move my son’s toys out of the way (and some of my husband’s stuff too). At least my son isn’t afraid of the vacuum anymore. That helps.

What an amazing giveaway! I am *still* in need of ways to corral the kids’ paper that comes into the house. I’ve got a system for mail and bills and all that grown-up paper, but I am just flummoxed by the kids’ artwork, etc.
.-= Laura´s last blog ..Light and Shadow =-.

My biggest challenge is cleaning consistently – I tend to let things get really messy and then clean in one huge blast, rather than doing what is necessary to keep the house neat on a consistent basis.

avatar Diane S

Ugh…the clutter in my office. It’s the catch all room. I get it organized but then it just gets overrun again. It would probably help if I bought some shelves!

avatar Mrs. Money

My cleaning routine needs an overhaul. I need it to be simpler so I can get it done. Right now it’s do what I can when the kids are sleeping or on the weekends or when I feel like it.

avatar Ginny

I definitely need to simplify the menu planning and grocery list process. I’m doing much more couponing these days and, while it’s saving us a good deal of money, it’s taking up LOTS of my time. I normally shop for 2 weeks at a time. I’ve read your tips about making a plan and saving it to use again; I need to revisit that!

I need help simplifying all areas of home management but if I had to choose, I’d choose help getting all of my photos organized. The boxes are getting bigger, as I haven’t touched my “I’m going to make those into scrapbooks” pile in over 10 years! Yikes!

avatar Beth

Medical Journals!! My husband gets a TON of medical journals & other related mail every week. He won’t let me throw any of it away, yet he lets it sit for months at a time w/o going through it. I’m so tired of nagging him about it, & so tired of seeing it piled up in the living room!!!

avatar Jill

Oh definitely, it’s the clutter – deciding what to do with what I think I need, but could really live without!
.-= Jill´s last blog ..Finding Fear =-.

avatar Brooke

My biggest home management challenge is to figure out how to find a place for everything and to put stuff in that designated place! Since combining households my now husband and I have ended up with a little “storage” mostly in my home office that just has nowhere to go!

It may seem silly, but doing the dishes. We don’t have a dishwasher, and for right now it’s only the two of us. I let them pile up too much and then they overwhelm my tiny counter. Thinking about what it’ll look like when our family grows scares me. I know I have to get it under control now before that comes!
