So I told you recently that there would be some changes on the horizon for Simple Mom. There’s LOTS to tell you soon, but it’s not all ready yet, so you’ll have to wait a bit more for the full reveal. (You’ll love it.)
But I can tell you about one change right now… fewer giveaways. But more books. I agree with most of you, that I’m just tired of giveaways, both on Simple Mom and all around the Internet in general. But I do love me some books, both as a reader and a writer.
Starting in February, we will have one book recommendation per month, and they’ll often include a giveaway. Because, well, I love books, and I’m happy to share the love.
So be looking for a book recommendation every month, and hopefully you can win a copy every now and then, too! The first one is up in a few hours.

Have you considered doing an online book club? I have done this with a group of friends who live all over the world, and we really enjoyed it. We picked a book, and then set up discussion times. It was a great way to connect with different people from different backgrounds, over a common interest! Highly recommend it.
I’ve done it in the past here on the blog, but it got hard to facilitate. I’m up for doing it again if other people helped lead, too!
