The thing I like most about spending time with other moms is hearing all the stories. It is such a good reminder and a sense of comfort knowing that I am not alone in the world experiencing melted crayons in the dryer or toothpaste on the walls or stepping in pee when you walk in the “boys” bathroom. I love to hear the stories about all the different ways kids say “I love you mom” whether it be by bringing you that special rock from the playground at school or saving you that half eaten piece of candy or by picking you the biggest nasty weed in the yard thinking it is the most beautiful flower you will have ever seen. Kids are fun, but they are full of challenge, a lot of work and sometimes simply exhausting, but I have yet to meet a mom that would trade it for anything in the world. I know I wouldn’t!
