<description>[...] Use seasonal fruits and vegetables for meal planning. This will be a more difficult one for me to follow. I never pay attention to what is in season but I know doing so will go a long way beyond my meal planning (i.e. reduces our carbon footprint). The benefits of meal planning are even more exhaustive: save money, save time, reduce stress, provides structure, and most of all make sure my kids get all the nutrients they need to be healthy, happy and active. There are a ton of internet resources for meal planning &#8211; from free websites that encourage us to &#8220;eat better, eat together&#8221; or focus on diet goals, to premium services where you can pay others to put together meals according to your local grocery store sales and smartphone apps to help handle the whole process. I am committed to adopting this habit as a complete lifestyle change. I know there will be less stress all around by taking 1 or 2 hours per month to plan out our meals. What are some tips you have for meal planning? Do you think you can fit meal planning in your lifestyle?
