My husband recently reminded me that he likes it when I look like a girl. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I wear combat boots – but I do have the “mom style” going most days. You know the look – the jeans, t-shirt, and flip flops. All day, every day.
Since his reminder, I’ve made a point to wear more skirts, which in all honesty, I prefer anyway. I think they’re cooler than shorts, and much more flattering when they hit the knee at the right spot. And I’m pretty sure my husband likes them.
I’ve also made more of a point to wear a bit more jewelry, style my hair, and put on a smidge of make-up – even when my day’s agenda only involves being at home. And you know what? It really does help a little. I feel more put together, so I have more energy, and I’m in a better mood.
You already know I love me some Lisa Leonard jewelry. I wear my “tiny squares” necklace almost daily – they’re adorned with my two children’s names, And I get compliments on them every time.

I love her jewelry’s handcrafted look, that she hammers the design just-so, giving each piece its originality.

I love that it’s feminine without being cutesy.
I love that so much of her work honors family.
And I love that one of you will win her latest necklace!
Lisa is giving away one “sweet and simple bird necklace.” I absolutely love it. It could go with anything – from t-shirts to dresses. Perfect for a busy mom. Also good for an upcoming Christmas gift!
Here’s how you can enter:
1. Simply leave a comment on this post, answering this question – “What’s one thing on your Christmas wish list?”

Oh, I would love to get good black high boots! And a 3/4 charcoal coat would be lovely too. I guess I am in need of basics, ~smile~.
A really good knife sharpener sounds good – like the gals above, but right now I’d really like tickets to the ASO POPS series – it’s going to be a good one this year and it’s guaranteed date nights with my hubby.

Right now, the top contender on my christmas list is a sewing machine. But right under that is a Wii.
My one item on my list is a Wii, with the Wii Fit. You have no idea. I would LICK Santa for that one.

I haven’t given much thought to Christmas yet, but definitely a Wii with a Wii fit thrown in would be my dream gift this year.

I’m trying to get my family (mostly the extended bits of it) to get that it shouldn’t just be about the gifts (the bigger, the better seems to be the norm).
But I do have material wants so what I’d really like for Christmas is a pair of El Naturalista shoes. I love the style and the ethics of the company.
rebekka’s last blog post…Things’re gonna change ’round here
Haven’t thought about Christmas presents for me…if I could have anything (since it is a wish list)…I’d say a new computer – preferably a laptop.

Becky Kicklighter’s last blog post…Snake Inspector
We’re Jewish, so no Christmas list for me! And we don’t do gifts for Hanukkah either, so….how about my birthday wish list?! Fabric! Made by independent and innovative designers. The kind of fabric that is too beautiful to even cut into for a project, and instead I’ll just keep refolding it and arranging it in pretty piles.
This may sound strange, but I’m longing for a cheesemaking kit! :0)

Just found your blog a couple days ago and have been enjoying reading through your older posts. Thanks for sponsoring this giveaway! I love Lisa’s designs but haven’t purchased anything from her before. Let’s see…what’s on my Christmas wish list? I really want a good quality pressure cooker or a grain mill.

I just started reading your blog a few days ago and have fallen in love! Thanks for all that you share!
My husband and I have just recently had the same conversation in which he revealed that he loves it when I dress “like a girl”. He really enjoys me in a skirt and some pretty jewelry. Since I teach elementary school right now, I often wear pants and go minimalistic on jewelry. But now that I know it is so important to him I’m going to start trying more. This giveaway is so well timed!
I have asked my mom to make me several new skirts for me to wear (as right now I have mostly denim skirts). Since she will be designing and making them I will be sure they match tops that I already own and that they fit in a way that will be easy to wear in the classroom!

My perfect Christmas gift would be for husband to say he was ready for a third baby!
My Christmas list is a moving target…but right now, tops is fabric. Vintage, preferably, for making more skirts for me. My hubby also likes it when I “go girly”
I am a t-shirt – jeans – flipflop wearin mom too. It’s really hard to get out of that when I know I’m just going to get spit up on or spilled on. But good encouragement and I am going to try a little harder today.
Christmas…..a camera or a sewing machine. Probably the camera b/c we don’t have one and we do have 5 kids. So camera it is.

We are furnishing our home this year piece by piece, so for Christmas, I would love a comfy over-stuffed chair for my bedroom (with a small table for my cup of tea)! And a basket for books. And a warm throw blanket. Ooh – and an ottoman if it’s in the budget! So, really, I’m not wishing for anything too specific!
Stephanie’s last blog post…Spa Saturday
Wow! I checked out this website and those necklaces are stunning!
This year, rather than DH and I buying each other gifts, we decided we’ll be buying a GPS system for both of us. And, from the looks of it, Garmin should have some sweet deals on their discontinued models. I can’t wait!

I really want a Wii this Christmas. I’m dying for the aches and pains of some video game action at its finest.
Lisa Leonard jewelry.
The one large item on my Christmas list this year is the Wii with Wii Fit.
Some new sock yarn from etsy shop Sunnyside Ellen!
a single-serve coffee maker…it’s great wrapping your hands around a warm mug full of coffee that was easy to make!
Maybe one of Lisa’s necklaces if I don’t win:)
The only thing on my wish list is a little someone–our little boy we are adopting from Russia. We are praying that we will be able to return for him before Christmas. He is our first child and we are so excited about becoming his parents!

My biggest Christmas wish is for a new dining room table and chairs!
I would love to enter this giveaway. I have the typical ‘Mom’ look too and usually don’t make any attempt to look any thing but like a ‘Mom’. For Christmas I would really love a bread maker, it would make things so much easier for me!
A little weird, maybe, but I think I’d like a doppler. I’m studying to be a midwife, and these are pretty pricey, so it would definitely be a fun gift to continue to build my tool kit.
anja’s last blog post…Bike Route Mapping
Definitely money or a gift card for new clothes!!! Ever since the girls were born three years ago, my wardrobe has been severely neglected. I need to spruce myself up and a new wardrobe and that adorable necklace will do just the trick!

I am hoping we get a Dyson and a sewing machine this year. I will also hit my 2nd trimester around Dec 1st so I hope I can survive the first 3 months with a healthy baby
I’m expecting in Mid-November, this will be my 3rd child (all under 3 years old). My Christmas wish is that the baby is healthy and that my family pitches in to help so I can get some sleep!! My husband has scheduled 3 weeks off work over the holidays but he has a stressful job and I’m really hoping he doesn’t get called into work.
I’m quite surprised by my lack of materialism this year
As a mom to two little ones, I’d most value a little spending money and the time to go and spend it. Thanks for your inspiring posts.
Andrea’s last blog post…Field Trip || Orchard
There’s nothing tangible I want for Christmas … but I could use some extra sleep and some extra time!

It’ll be our first Christmas with both of our mothers living in the same town as us. At the same time it will be our first Christmas in our new home. I’m more excited about that second part! I’m hoping for a GPS. Tired of getting lost and being late to everything!
A studio lighting system for my photography
I would love a new set of wooden spoons and spatulas for my kitchen.
We would really like a Wii…but on a more practical and less expensive note, we also could use a new toaster (our 1 year old pulled the toaster oven off the counter while I was cleaning, and dented it badly enough that it started to smoke when we next used it!)
Great giveaway!

Since this is a wish list, I really wish for a Macbook.
Jen@OurDailyBigTop’s last blog post…football ties
I can’t decide between my top 2. I would love to get a tortilla press, so I could make homemade tortillas. But, I would love to receive a red pea coat too!
Cashmere yarn, to knit a pair of fingerless gloves. Or maybe some of that jewellery if I don’t get lucky!
My husband is the same way, he loves it when I dress up (not dress clothes, but not sweats and not HIS clothes
) and especially when I “accessorize” (his words, not mine!).
As for Christmas? Usually I’m the one saying “oh I don’t know, you don’t need to get me anything…” but this year I feel like I have a big list – and they’re not cheap! I think top of my list is a digital camcorder for my family. Beyond that, I’ve got a whole list of photography things I’d love but doubt I’ll get as gifts.
I love this giveaway, those jewelry pieces are awesome!
Mandi’s last blog post…I want him.
I am thinking of a rice cooker
I would love to have a getaway with my husband. We could really use a few days away. He’s in grad school and working full-time and we just don’t get a lot of time together.
Tracie’s last blog post…So much going on
Top of my wish list for Christmas, hmm…. probably some henna. I started buying the stuff to get back into it last spring but for some reason didn’t get the actual henna powder. Of course I’d take a new camera too.
You know, I’ve been so busy helping my kids with their lists that I haven’t thought about mine at all! I think I’d like a new handbag most of all, but bigger silver hoops and some sewing books would be nice, too. I think we’ll be sticking to prezzies for the kids only, though, since we’re doing our best to pay down our debt. Next year, fingers crossed, things will be different!
If I don’t win one in a blog giveaway, I really want the Dell Mini 9 computer – a computer I could actually use in the 30-minute car line at my kids’ school.
Laurin’s last blog post…Well Aren’t I The Lucky One?
One thing I’d love for Christmas is a digital keychain. It would be great to have photos of my girls to share and to enjoy myself
A Wii Fit is at the top of my list!
I love these necklaces, but I always wonder if they would look as pretty with five kids on them.

Since Christmas is also my birthday, my #1 wish is a big one. I want a Mac Book! IF only my wish could come true…
flip camera
Can’t say I have thought about my own Christmas wish list yet…the practical side of me (which is usually the side in charge) says something in the house that would help complete the home remodel that began 4 years ago and stopped after our first child 2 1/2 years ago; the bedroom add-on, finish the kitchen cabinets, baseboards…but I would also love to receive some cute new underwear (to help with the girly/feminine/feel good about myself thing). I realize that having two kids does not mean I should be wearing ‘mom’ underwear
, but when there is extra money in the clothing budget there are just too many “practical” things to buy.
Pamela’s last blog post…a first
I’m hoping for a camera tripod.
I’d love some quilting supplies as well a few pieces of clothing.
. . .and of course, a Lisa Leonard Necklace!

Nichole’s last blog post…One thousand
On my wish list? A new iPod. My very old one is getting really, really wonky…
For Christmas, I am easy to please, anything made by my 3 year-old will make me the happiest mommy.
The only thing I need for Christmas is my husband to be home from Iraq. I think I could handle the holidays easier if it wasn’t so close to the end of his deployment. He will be home 2 weeks after Christmas if it all goes as planned….but to have him home for Christmas with me and our 14 month old son would mean the world. We don’t have much money to get big gifts anyway and through this deployment I have learned that the only thing we TRULY need is each other.
Thank you!
i’m hoping for a new lens for my camera… ooo and some tall brown boots.
Becca’s last blog post…turning red…
A new BED!!
I’m hoping for some new board games for me and the family.

On my list for this Christmas is the grater attachement for my kitchen aid mixer! Lasagna and pizza would be much easier with this tool!
BTW I just started reading your blog and I am in love with it! The daily docket has given me a jumpstart back to getting my stuff done around here. I have four kids and the youngest is just 2 months and I needed some encouragement to keep going on this mess!
I had a simple silver necklace on my wish list – I had not seen Lisa’s jewelry before but I love it now!
My Christmas wish list consists of hoping to get a little sleep and that my kids will be satisfied with their presents.
My biggest Christmas wish is actually for a dumpster to be placed outside my front door so I can get rid of all the clutter and stuff around here! And a baby that sleeps through the night. A girl can dream, right?

Okay, two things.
1. I want a new president, but it needs to be the one I’m voting for.
2. I want the discipline to implement all the great and achievable steps in the book Spring Cleaning for Normal People. Not that it will take a lot of discipline, but I could use any extra that anyone could send my way.

Hmmm… that’s a tough question. You know how when you have to actually list something you want it’s so hard to come up with it, but if I were to just wander around a few stores I’d feel overwhelmed with all of the wants? Yeah, that’s me.
I’d have to say I’d love a Nikon D40 and a lense to go with it. I dream of the pictures I could take with it!

I haven’t even thought about what I want for Christmas. I have thought about what to get my husband and daughter but haven’t thought of what I would like myself. All I can think of that I really want is a day to relax!
I would really like a piece of created gemstone jewelry for Christmas, and I’ve already told my husband so. I just think the science behind created gems is amazing, and the jewelry is pretty spectacular, too.

Boring, but on my wish list is a “water hog” mat from LL Bean for inside my front door. Need something to catch all that snow!
That my baby would not be born at Christmas, but would wait another couple weeks before making his/her debut.
I have my eye on a bread machine or sewing machine!
I would love hardwood floors in my house, but I’d also like a Cannon or Nikon digital slr camera. My husband comments on one weekly and I’d love to see the pictures he takes of the kids with it.
Me! Me! Pick me!

Oops! I was so excited, I forgot to tell you my Christmas wish…duh! I am like others, wishing for a Wii fit. In fact, we have pretty simple Christmases and are contemplating just getting one big family present–that is Wii. It is a one size fits all sort of thing since I have kids ranging from 6-19. The major hold back is that hubby is hesitant cause he hates video games. That, and the expense…yikes!

It really is…I keep browsing her site and casually showing my husband various pieces that I especially like. “Isn’t this one cool? Oh, look, we could put both girls’ names on it! She makes these all by hand. Don’t you think we should buy handmade for Christmas this year?” and so on. Yeah, I’m subtle.

SNOW…living here in Texas that is rare, but I am placing it at the top of my Christmas wish list this year…OH and HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS via my mom! Other than that, I really don’t need or want anything else money can buy…I feel blessed to have healthy, happy kids, a funny husband, and an awesome church! I love watching my son’s eyes as he walks in to see what Santa brought on Christmas morning…those are my gifts!
Blessings to you!
I really want to learn to machine quilt, and my current machine just won’t do the trick . . . so, I guess the thing I would like most this Christmas would be a sewing machine with a darning foot.
I would love a food saver, I am trying to buy more bulk foods and this sure would come in handy!
I’ve been thinking about treating myself to one of Lisa’s necklaces for my 40th birthday. As for Christmas, I’d love a warm pair of cycling boots for my winter commute.
Hmmmm…. I haven’t thought about Christmas yet, BUT…. I would BIG PUFFY HEART a long black fitted winter coat, and if I may be so BOLD — Cashmere would make me soooooo happy : P
A Wii. But I would really be happy with 1 hour just by myself.
I’d like a Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper. I’m done with microwave popcorn, and I’d like a theater taste again. Besides, I think my kids would get a kick out of it on movie nights.
I would really *love* a weekend alone to reconnect with my husband… sometimes it is just so hard to stop and make sure that we have our together time.
I just love Lisa’s stuff. I bought this necklace for my mother-in-law for her birthday, and almost kept it for myself.
I’m a huge collector of tv on dvd so I just want to add to my collection.
Thank you!
I want a breadmaker!!
I would love to remodel my entire kitchen for christmas… but since i doubt santa can fit that in his sleigh, I will be happy with some fun yarn for knitting socks!
I would love to have an SLR camera. I think my dh has noticed all the hints.
Rustic white dinnerware from Crate and Barrel is what i’ve been eyeing for a while now…:)
Hmmm, I really want Photoshop or some other decent photo editing software.
A house would be nice, but I’ll settle for Photoshop
Eternal Sunshine’s last blog post…The return of the weekend update.
For my husband to stay safe over in Afghanistan.
On my Christmas wish list is honestly, just a great day with my family. It will be my first Christmas as a married woman, and I can’t wait for my husband to experience all our crazy traditions! Being with my parents and siblings is the best gift I could get. Well, maybe besides this necklace
Just kidding!
What I would like for Christmas is for the kids to stop fighting. Since I know I won’t get this, I guess my second choice is anything from LUSH fresh handmade cosmetics (www.lush.com). So many yummy smelling soaps, bubble bars, massage bars… Just Dreamy!

I haven’t given much thought to Christmas yet, but I would really like a new camera to indulge my growing interest in photography.
The new “slate” color Le Crueset dutch oven – have you seen it? I swear my face print is still on the window of Williams Sonoma from our love at first sight encounter. It doesn’t look the same in pictures. In real life it looks like the ocean. And it loves me too, I just know it.

I am jonesing for ANYTHING from Inside a Black Apple’s shop. But most especially The Fairy Ring painting. It would be perfection in my work area.
There are a few things I want for Christmas, but the thing I want the very most is to have a season filled with laughter and time together as a family. We don’t seem to get enough of that around here!

I’d love a new watch. What a cute necklace, by the way! Thanks for promoting quality items. I plan to see more of what she does.
Amy @ My Daily Dollars’s last blog post…Carnival of Money Stories #77
My husband and i stick to a $100 gift limit on Christmas, so we are forced to be a lot more creative. The list of things i want is long (and unattainable on our tight budget)…new furniture in the new house, a sewing machine (and sewing lessons), some new clothes, but mostly, number 1 for me will be blessed to start a family together in the coming year.
Well my greatest Christmas / Hankukah wish is that my husband, my 14 month old, my new born (due in 2 weeks) and myself will be able to save enough money to be able to fly to New Zealand (my original home) to see all the family. No one expect my parents have seen my children yet and its my DREAM to have the kids see their 4 great-grandparents before its too late. And of course all the aunties and uncles!! We now live in Israel, which certainly couldnt be farther away! So that is my one Christmas wish. Amy
I’d LOVE to go clothes shopping. Its been a long while, as its not in “the budget.”
On my wish list this year is a sewing machine. I haven’t done any sewing since high school many years ago, and I want to start again. My house and I both need this creative outlet!

What I would love for Christmas would me an MP3 player that holds lots of songs, so that I can download all my free PepsiStuff music onto it and not compete with my older boys for their rock-laden (Linkin Park for 3hours straight, anyone?!!) MP3 Zens. And love, peace and happiness for our family and for all my friends.
Beautiful design. My wish list item (for the past several years and until I finally get one or win one from The Pioneer Woman) is a KitchenAid Mixer.

New around town bicycle for pulling a bike stroller and to replace the one my parents bought me when I went away to college 15 years ago.
Now I have to have Lisa Leonard jewelry. Seriously. They are so simply beautiful.
Thank you for this awesome blog also. You rock.
Julie
It has been a rough couple of months lately—so I would like everyone to be healthy and peaceful in mind, body and soul for Christmas.
First there was my “uplifting” experience with my bladder (after 4 BIG babies, everything was falling down on the job.)
Then husband’s gall bladder wanted out—-BEFORE his open-heart surgery (valve repair because of rheumatic fever as a child.)
During all this, my dad has been in hospice care at his home.
Peace on earth never sounded so good.
Gosh, I haven’t thought about Christmas yet! Yikes! I do love the calendar you mentioned here a week or so ago… I think that might be an early gift to myself though! Christmas – how about a week skiing with the family?
Peace,
Candice
I haven’t even thought of a Christmas list yet! But I do love Lisa Leonard’s jewelry and would love one of her pieces.

My holiday wishlist has opera tickets on it. I doubt that I will get them, since nobody seems to take my request seriously, but there it is! I also want gift cards. Booooring.
Visions of a new ipod are dancing in my head!
This was easy. I ordered some of her jewelry about a month ago. Love it! Now as far as what is on my Christmas list! I would have to say some quality time with my family would mean more than anything. You see my husband is a fireman and is working 24 hours on Christmas Eve. And I am a flight nurse and work 24 hours on Christmas Day. So I just hope and pray that someone will help us out to get a little quality time together with Emma too! I posted on my blog http://www.cutcreateandcare.blogspot.com my feelings on this jewelry and about the giveaway. And your code is girly girl. Thanks.

One thing I want for Christmas is for my dad to be healthy.
Now if we are talking material goods, one thing I’d like is a Dyson Vacuum.
Something that my husband picks out himself with no direction from me.
Clothes!
I need some new clothes – fun stuff that I enjoy wearing. I tend to buy for everyone in the family and ‘make do’ for myself. That’s a biggie on my list this year. Kids and hubby want a wii. Thanks!
Seriously, before I even saw your giveaway, I have been wanting a Lisa Leonard necklace. I just had a baby and told my husband that I want a necklace that I can proudly show off our two son’s names. I just love her jewelry and hope I get one for Christmas or from your giveaway! Thanks!
The one thing I want for Christmas, and will probably end up buying for myself since my kids are all under 10, is an iPod. I really would love to have music at work.
There really isn’t much I want right now – a new bathrobe would be nice.
Pam’s last blog post…Deal of the week!
It’s a toss up…a KitchenAid mixer or money for my “new Mac fund.” But first things first…there is a Lisa Leonard package upstairs in my husband’s desk waiting for my birthday next week…talk about self control! The suspense is killing me
ipod
I think that her jewelry ROCKS! I have always wanted one, we have 6 children and sometimes getting jewelry is way down on the totem pole of “necessities” But it would be cool to win one ! Whats on my christmas list? a weekend get away with my husband where we are Nicole & Tim and not once hear MOM & DAD for 48 hours. We all need that sometimes! I forget my own name at times since I am either Tim’s wife or Derek, Tania, Tiara, Sean, Tori or Zoey’s mom.
The one thing on my list is another home computer
On my list this year is a brand new pair of cozy slippers to wear this winter when I’m home with my new baby. I think they’ll go great with this necklace, no?
This is my first Christmas without extended family – just me, my husband, and my young daughter. I want to create some meaningful, special traditions this year.
The only thing on my Christmas list this year is a healthy baby. Last Christmas we lost a baby & this Christmas we’re expecting a baby.
snow on christmas morning!

I do have to say I love the simplicity of Lisa Leonard’s jewelry. I was just thinking I really don’t have many ideas for Christmas for either giving or receiving. I think the current economic situation is getting the better of me and I am going to think “outside the box” this year. Things just don’t seem to matter that much…experiences are more important.

Count me in for the giveaway!
And what do I want for Christmas? There are several things I want, but I’m going to have to narrow it down to one thing, I think. They are big items.
- A new set of cookware that’s NOT non-stick (scary Teflon… yuck!)
- A new vacuum (maybe a Dyson?)
- A new duvet cover. Our current one has cat vomit stains on it and cat-claw holes all over it. (Guess we shouldn’t let the cat on the bed anymore, huh?)
- Rocking chairs for our front porch. Our son loves it outside, but we don’t have any good place to sit with him out there.

I would really like to get a Cuisinart Food processor.
A relaxing family Christmas! That in the midst of the hulabaloo of all the church activities, parties, programs etc. that I will keep Jesus central in my thoughts….not giving in to the holiday stress that takes our joy and rememberance of the tiny baby that came to save the world.
I would love Santa if he would bring me a wii fit….and some motivation to lose this baby weight!
I just recently started making lists for the kids and was thinking of things I could ask for. It is usually hard to come up with things for myself but was thinking that I needed to work on my style a little more. Necklaces was actually on the top of my list. I wanted some that could be worn dressed down or up. I think this necklace is beautiful! What a great giveaway!
My wishlist consists of being able to spend time with my boyfriend since i hardly ever see him. Or some cute shoes haha!
Hmmm….Christmas? I hadn’t really thought about it yet, but now that I do, I think I would love an antique-reproduction bookcase with glass sliding doors to house my overflowing book collection. I don’t know if Santa can swing that this year, so if not, maybe some great new books?
a day with my sister. that’s what i want for christmas.
Books, fun paper w/ markers, pencils, paints, etc. I love to read and draw/create so anything along those lines is great!
Hm … Christmas wishes already? You know, I have been dying for a copy of the new translation of “Pippi Longstocking” illustrated by Lauren Child, to read to my daughter after we finish “Alice in Wonderland”. So that’s my current Christmas wish, although if I get it before then I won’t complain!
AgnesMinerva’s last blog post…A Beautiful Mess
Hmm…I must say it’s a sewing machine. But since I’m getting married in June, I’d be happy with a couch. Or chairs. Or a bed.
Can’t be picky coming out of college!

I would love for my husband to take the bebe and invite me to go to a movie with friends. I would also love a full night rest (here’s hoping).
The best Christmas presents are always something handmade. I would much rather have a pot holder that was made by my granddaughter than just about anything. Of course, a Lisa Leonard necklace in the ole’ stocking wouldn’t be so bad either!
The bool: The Mother in Me: Real-World Reflections on Growing Into Motherhood by Kathryn Lynard Soper.
This sounds bad, but I would just like some money! I’m having a hard time paying for school right now, so any money that I could get to put towards that would be amazing. Honestly, I would rather get that than something I didn’t want that I would never, ever use. And I would love a Wii/Wii Fit…they’re so expensive though, I don’t think I’ll ever get one =( but I truly want it!
A new pair of cozy, cute Pj’s. It’s on my list every year, but have yet to receive. Because I always end up saying “oh I’ll just keep wearing that really old t-shirt to bed”.
Thanks for the chance to win a wonderful necklace! Also just want to say thanks for the great blog here. I’ve been checking in for awhile now, and I’m really enjoying it. Thanks for sharing all that you do!
Now if I can figure out how to subscribe to your feed…
I would love to have another baby!!!
The one thing that’s on my wishlist for Christmas is a new camera. I’ve had mine ever since freshmen year in college, and it is hobbling along on its last leg. Half the time the lens won’t open, and the other half of the time the flash takes so long to charge that I’ve missed some VERY precious moments with our daughter. We’re a military family, so none of our relatives are close by and she’s the first grandchild. Her grandparents, aunts/uncles, and great-grandparents literally live for her pictures, and I seriously get calls within 5 minutes of emailing them out. A new camera would be -so- useful…!

one of those clarisonic face things to work magic and make me pretty!!
I completely agree with the whole “girl” look. I feel better about myself and it doesn’t hurt my marriage either!
For Christmas I pretty much want service type things- shelves in my laundry room, my bedroom painted, shelves put up in my craft room. Most of these I have the supplies but not the know-how. I am direct and oh so easy to please so it works for us.

I want a new toilet and new sink for my bathroom. We bought a near 100 year old house and are redoing it, but on a budget so we are using as much of the original stuff that was here until we absolutely have to replace it.
On my Christmas list… I have asked my husband to have all of our wedding photo negatives turned digital. Our 10 year anniversary falls just before Christmas and I would love to have a CD of our wedding photos.

The #1 thing on my list is a brand spanking new MacBook Pro, though a Kindle from Amazon is a close second
Truly…just to have a simple, Christ centered celebration with family. I wish there wasn’t all the gift giving or that it was very simple gifts given. The gift part seems to take over the whole season.
I would love a piece of Lisa Leonard jewelry with my kids names…I’m definately putting it on my list this year. I love her jewelry as well as her creative muse…her family!

Hautemama’s last blog post…Having fun at the fair!
I never thought an electronic device would make it on any wish list of mine, but the truth is that what I want most this year is a digital voice recorder! I want to record my toddler’s sweet singing and chatter and my older girls’ beautiful harp/viola/clarinet recitals and impromptu backseat choral concerts…then there are my aging granddad’s childhood stories and my dad’s singing in the kitchen while he cooks….the list goes on!
I want to get my teeth whitened for Christmas! Does that come off as gross??
Have you seen that Disneyland commercial where its the father who runs down the stairs to see the disney commercial on t.v. ?Well, thats me. Disneyland is on my wish list – not my children’s. I’ve never been there and would love to feel that magic..

birdy necklace!

For Christmas I would like passes to the zoo for my family.
Since our budget is tight… this year I’m asking for things
like passes to the movies.. passes to the zoo… giftcards
to McDonalds (to take my boys every once in a while)
These are things we’ve cut out of our budget this past year.

We’re simplifying Christmas this year, so I’m hoping for a whole lot more cookie-baking, popcorn-ball making, and caroling!
My wish is for new pots and pans. I’ve had the same ones for 15 years and they’re pretty warped and scratched.
I love the jewelry, too!
After years of thinking otherwise, I was recently shocked to learn that I love Scrabble. So this year I’m asking for the Deluxe Turntable Scrabble Board that revolves so none of us needs to do acrobatics to read the board. It comes with handsome burgundy tiles.
Jennifer Phillips’s last blog post…Here we are again.
A clean house, everyday. Okay that’s not going to happen. How about Photoshop Express? I have a LL necklace and love it. She is extremely creative.

Is it so weird that I want Santa to redo my floors for Christmas? (White carpet + two boys + manchild husband + dog = my complete insanity!) Laminate, here I come!
For Christmas I want either a Wolfgang Puck Food Processor, or a really stylin highchair for my little man
Thanks!

I love Lisa Leonard’s jewelry!
What I want for Christmas … Adobe Photoshop!!!

I want a pair fun and functional, warm for winter boots because I’ve just moved to a snowy climate. Also a gift certificate for the local knit shop would be wonderful. I can already see myself sitting by the fire on a snowy evening tangled in some gorgeous yarn that I have no idea what to do with but will somehow turn into a luxurious scarf!
A new pair of cozy slippers.

Ok – so here’s my second chance to win a lovely Lisa necklace. I made a post earlier on my x-mas wish and know have “ta-da” found out how to subscribe to RSS feed. Hey look at that email in my inbox from you – very cool! And the secret code is … Girly Girl.
Thanks Simple Mama
The only thing I want for Christmas is for my husband to get a job. He’s been unemployed for 6 months following an injury. All other “stuff” pales in comparison to having an income.
I would love a Zutter Bind-It-All machine!
Photoshop Elements!
One thing I’d really like for Christmas is a digital frame.
For Christmas I wouldn’t mind one of those necklaces with the kids name on it? Where do you get those? I have 6 kids, and would not mind another kid for christmas LOL .
Georgiann
I have been asking for “Lego Mindstorms” for Christmas for two years. I just know this will be the year! (I’m also in the running for “coolest Grandma ever!”)
Seriously I’m a software developer and I can’t think of a cooler toy – and toys are still fun for me even though I’m a grown-up.
I am hoping for a bookshelf for Ikea to organize my cluttered playroom!!!
I love those necklaces. I’m going to order some as gifts for my sister and mom. As for myself…I’m wishing for a sewing machine for Christmas. I don’t sew…yet…but have been dreaming about doing so for awhile now. Love your blog…keep up the good work.
we’re going for a family gift this year – a wii!
A new house! That’s not too much to ask for, right??
One item on my Christmas wishlist is a food processor.
I blogged about your giveaway here: http://everythingupclose.blogspot.com/2008/09/giveaways-to-help-pass-rainy-day.html
Ha, my husband and I had an identical conversation two weekends ago when I came downstairs after getting ready for a party. He kind of looked dazed and started to say “Wow, I forgot how….” Then he stopped talking, smart man that he is
So I’ve been trying to be more girly.
If I don’t get a bike for my November birthday, that’s top of my Christmas list. Otherwise, a high-powered backpack leaf blower. We have probably 30 hardwoods scattered around our yard, and 10 hours per weekend of backbreaking work in the fall is not fun. It wouldn’t help this year, but we’d be ready for 2009!
i LOVE her stuff!! pick me
randel hambrick’s last blog post…… needin’ me some tech savviness…
I would really like an electric griddle for making pancakes on Sunday mornings, so we can all sit down and eat them together instead of in shifts.
I think that now I’ll have to put Lisa Leonard jewelry on my list! We usually have very simple holidays, with as many homemade gifts as possible. I’m asking my mom to give me some of her tomato sauce, made with ingredients from her garden.
