We don’t really have one special heirloom that has been passed down through the generations, but I do have a piece of red granite from my great-grandfather. He used to make monuments out of the granite in Missouri. I plan to pass it down to my son when he gets older.

I have a beautiful rod iron bed that was given to me by my great aunt. My young daughter now uses it.

I absolutely love every piece you featured!! Keeping my fingers crossed for a win! My family doesn’t have a tradition of passing down heirlooms, but my Grandma painted porcelain, and I have several of her pieces that I intend to pass on to J when she’s grown. Hubby also has an apple cookie jar that he remembers his Grandma always keeping cookies in that he plans to pass on. So, I guess we’re starting our own traditions! Thanks for the chance to enter.

The diamond on my engagement ring has been in my husband’s family for four generations. When he gave me the box I kept asking him “What is it? What is it?” He said, “It belonged to my great grandfather, then it was my grandma’s, then it was my mom’s and now it is yours if you marry me.” I love that it has a history.

OMG – LOVE the Vintage Pearl products on her Etsy site. Thanks so much for letting us know about her. My husband just ordered an initial necklace for me for our anniversary, I ordered a cup of love for my sister in law, and I emailed my other brother about the cup of love for his wife. I sent VP an email about a custom order as well.
