(in)courage me

If you hang out in the mommy blogosphere much, you may have noticed some talk this week about a wonderful new venture called (in)courage. Dayspring, the Christian division of Hallmark, has joined together more than 20 women’s voices in the blogosphere, united together to create a soft spot for gathering.

The vision is for a place like no other in cyberspace. The writing will be real, etched with the good and the hard of following Jesus. It’ll be a lot of fun. It’s been described by some of the writers as a beach house where you can kick up your feet with some coffee and girlfriends, as a well we’re digging together, and a safe house where non-flowery girls can gather.

I’m thrilled to be joining some of my favorite online writers, where we’ll regularly pick up our quills and write about “our girl-made mess and the God who redeems it.“ It’s a place of courage.
