We’ve got out of town visitors for the next few days, so our weekend is full of getting out and about, enjoying the gorgeous fall weather, and loud, childlike squeals from the playroom (there are currently four kids under 3 in our abode!).  I hope you have just as enjoyable a weekend.

Here are some of my favorite reads from this week:

Food & Drink

Green & Frugal Living

Making Your Home a Haven

Kids & Parenting

Money Management

Organizing

Productivity

Taking Care of Yourself

Out of sheer randomness:

I love this compare-and-contrast of the 1963 and 1991 versions of Richard Scarry’s Best Word Book Ever.  My daughter reads the tattered ‘63 edition, which I myself read as a used book.

I had a post this week on Digital Bliss about how to keep your blog running strong if you need to take a break.  I’ll be implementing these very things here in the next few weeks!

And here are Simple Mom’s top 10 referrers for September:

  1. Rocks in My Dryer
  2. Biblical Womanhood
  3. Small Notebook
  4. Soule Mama
  5. Nesting Place
  6. Frugal Dad
  7. Blissfully Domestic
  8. Mommy Coddle
  9. The Inspired Room
  10. Unclutterer

Thanks for making the blogosphere a better place!

Can I just tell you that I’ve been blogging for years, but never have I been so excited to open up my iGoogle Reader to find a new post from you! Even though I do not live super simply, I so love everything about your blog! From the topics you write about, the pictures, the layout; etc. You have a wonderful blog. I also love the eBook on Fall Cleaning. Girlie, you did well :-)

I just spent WAY too much time looking through the series on the Richard Scarry book. I had to read all the comments as well. Very interesting!
