So much waste. Not enough people are concerned about what the throw away and how they throw it away. For those people that are concerned, there are not always easy and efficient methods for throwing things away. For example, I have to drive several miles out of my way to properly dispose of the green light bulbs. Another example, there are little to no programs for properly discarding medicines.

I think the packaging is crazy! There is so much waste right there – Even my kids know now what a waste it is!!

Biggest environmental concern: apathetic and cynical attitudes. Too many people think their little strawpaper doesn’t count as litter or that if they recycle it won’t make that big a difference…or they just feel entitled to live the life to which they’ve become accustomed!
Change is okay and every little bit helps!

There is an excess of waste in every household. If everyone truly attempted to reduce, reuse and recycle, I think an incredible improvement could be made.

I think the biggest concern is that we use more than we really need to on so many levels – more gas, more electric, more water, more paper, more plastic, more…..everything. We use to excess. We buy more when we don’t really need to. We use energy we don’t need out of convenience, or worse, just pure laziness.

Too many people thinking that we live in a throw-away world, rather than focusing on maintaining and reusing. My grandmother would reuse just about anything 50 times and *then* think of a new way to use it (e.g., a toilet seat she turned into a stool!).
