And of course there are lots of video/DVD options. Be sure to check your local lobraries. Also be sure to sheck the events calendar, especially if you live in a large metro area. We try every year to attend a large traditional Greek festival held in Atlanta every year. Lots of opportunities even if you cannot travel. If I could travel? Italy, Greece, Ireland, New Zealand... We try to read their websites. When a missionary is in town, I try to have them over for dinner and listen to their stories. Monday is "Pray for Missionaries" day - we go over any needs or praises the missionaries have shared and each child picks someone to pray for. This has kept them connected to people around the world.
