I‘m almost done with the first half of my book, due to my editor tomorrow. So today, while I’m busy putting the finishing touches on my manuscript, I thought I’d surprise the best readers in the blogosphere with a little giveaway.
I’m not much of a jewelry person, but the one necklace I grab near daily is my sweet and simple birdie necklace by Lisa Leonard. It goes with just about everything, and it’s a beautiful balance of feminine and rustic. It’s girly without the saccharine sweetness. Just my style.
Last week, my in-laws surprised me with a little shopping gift from Lisa’s store for my birthday, and it made my day. It took me forever to decide what to get — I could have one of each of her pieces, and that’s saying a lot, seeing I’m all about the uncluttered living.
This week, Lisa wants to give three Simple Mom readers a $50 gift certificate to her store! What a great way to welcome the upcoming fall season. I also love Lisa’s business because she’s got a great work ethic. I met her earlier this year, and I was so impressed with her sweet, professional demeanor. I hope she goes far with her work.

How pretty and sweet all these pieces are… I would customize the jumble of charms with my daughter’s name and birthday and my husband name and our wedding anniversary – that way I can always keep them close.
I love all her designs – but if I had to choose only one, it would be the sweet and simple birdie necklace.

The Mamma necklace is my most fav!
I would totally get the sweet and simple birdie necklace. I work for a small non-profit called the American Bird Conservancy. We all wear bird themed things regularly, and I like to support wildlife themed artists.

Hands down–the large initial bracelt–for my sister-in-law and her new baby girl! It’s a great reminder piece for when mom goes back to work…and will undoubtedly be cherished by my niece when she is old enough to wear it.

Everything is so precious on her site, it is terribly difficult to choose. But I would have to go with the “fly free necklace.” This seems to be my life motto right now, as I am recently single (for the better), and really taking the time to learn who I am, and who I want to be in the future.

I’d get the Be Still Necklace… I love it – it calls to me!
I love her designs. I don’t wear much jewelry, but have wanted a necklace to help remind me to be present and stay connected with my kiddos. It’s hard to pick which one – I think I’d get either the original or the open circle, and customize with some word (peace, connect,?) as a reminder.
With the gift certificate, I would probably get the laundry line necklace. SO CUTE!! There are so many to choose from. And they are all very unique.

If I won, I would buy the teenie tiny initial necklace for my sister, with her children’s initials on each of the circles. Looks like the laundry line are a signature piece of Lisa’s. Too darling, that is what I would get.

He is a firefighter and/but also so courageous in other areas of his life that the Courage leather cuff would be such a nice gift for him. i love the birdie necklace but with a newborn i think we’d have it ripped off by those little curious hands in a week!
I think at this stage of life i might pick the simple id cuff… beautiful ,simple and can’t be destroyed 
really lovely items. it is very hard to choose, but i’ve narrowed it down to the single tag necklace, the hugs and kisses necklace (reminds me of my grandmother) or the leather cuff.
I would get the Sweet Sister necklace for my younger sister. We received some scary news this year when she found out she has melanoma. She has had three removed and they appeared to be Stage 1 (Praise God!!), but she has to be monitored every three to four months.
We don’t live near each other (she’s in Indiana; I’m in Texas) anymore and I would love to give her something so she knows how much I love her and think about her. She also loves jewelry and it would make her day.

I love her designs. I would also have a hard time choosing just one piece. My all time favorite is the Be Still necklace. It is so gentle and would be a good reminder to be quiet and take a moment for rest. But I really like the laundry line necklace, it’s so fun and playful. Also in the running would be the large link charm bracelet, sweet and simple birdie necklace and family tree necklace. I need to ask for a shopping trip to her site for my birthday!
