Giveaway from Just Ask: Canon EOS Rebel DSLR Camera & Lens Kit

Alright, readers, show of hands — how many of you know someone who has battled cancer? How many of you had a family member in this battle?

I’ll bet you it’s almost all of us. I know I’m one of them.

Well, there’s a heredity test out there called BRACAnalysis®. It’s a test for individuals thought to be at high risk for hereditary breast or ovarian cancer because of a personal and/or family history of breast or ovarian cancer. BRACAnalysis detects mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, the gene mutations that are responsible for the vast majority of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Just Ask is a group getting the word out about this test, and wants people to know that they can be screened for their chances of breast cancer. And to get people’s attention, they’re offering some sweet giveaways for their Facebook fans.

    My little brother just lost his wife to cancer. She was just 33 years old and left behind two beautiful children (13 and 10 years old). I would give this camera to them, to help them capture beauty in the world…

    I have had Canon DSLR on my wish list for years! (And I am having a hard time finding film for my “old fashioned” Canon Rebel SLR anymore. )
