Today’s giveaway is the final gift basket before Christmas. And it’s all about taking care of yourself – great timing, since you’re probably a little wiped out from the holiday season. All of these products help enhance the little things in your life – and I love them all. One reader will win all of these products.
1. Skin MD Natural
Skin MD Natural is a shielding lotion with SPF 15 sunscreen, and I love it. To be honest, the first few days of using it, it felt like your basic lotion – good, but nothing amazing. But around day three, I noticed my skin was feeling softer and tighter. And it looked a bit clearer and brighter – I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I looked healthier and more vibrant overall.
I love that a little bit goes a long way – you don’t need much to cover your entire face, and it’s very lightweight. It’s actually good for the whole body. With the dry winter weather, I’ve used it on my hands and elbows, and they stay moist most of the day. I’m now completely hooked on my Skin MD lotion.
At $25 a bottle, it’s not cheap. But it really does work well, and because a little goes a long way, it’s not too unreasonably priced. It actually bonds with your skin’s outer skin cells to form the shield, which keeps your natural oils in, and keeps the harsh environmental chemicals out.
The winner will receive two bottles of Skin MD Natural with SPF 15 lotion!
2. Naturally Handmade
Naturally Handmade is a shop owned by Angela, a stay-at-home mom of two little girls. Her oldest has a myriad of skin issues and allergies, so Angela has spent a lot of hours researching the best products for her daughter’s skin. Her favorite product was Soap Nuts – in fact, she loves it so much, she now sells it in her store.
To wash a load of laundry, you simply put four Soap Nuts in their muslin bag, and toss it in with the load – any washer can handle Soap Nuts, including high-efficiency and front-loading washers. What’s more, these four Soap Nuts can be used for four to five loads of laundry!
Soap Nuts are low-sudsing, fragrance-free, and perfect for sensitive skin. They are natural, hypo-allergenic, and chemical-free.
The winner will receive 100 grams of Soap Nuts, good for about 40 loads of laundry!
3. Heather Bailey
Heather Bailey is a designer and mom of two kids, and loves to create. Her blog and online store are pure eye candy, and everything she creates and photographs are inspiration. I can browse her stuff for hours, especially her fabric. Beautiful.
She is the inventor of Trash Ties, which are – well, hair thingies. They work like barrettes, bobby pins, and hair elastics to create an infinite amount of styles. I have shortish hair, so I was pleasantly surprised that even I can use them to do all sorts of things. And best of all, they stay – they really don’t move at all.
They’re really soft, washable, and durable, and they come in all sorts of colors and sizes. And they’re based on the concept of the twisty tie, hence the name.
The winner will receive a set of Trash Ties!
4. Organically Happy
Organically Happy is a boutique selling eco-friendly beauty products that help you adopt an organic, chemical-free lifestyle without compromising quality. They sell products from all over the world that are good for you and the planet, including products made from pure, natural sources, along with fair trade accessories. There are no harmful chemicals in anything they sell.
One hot item is their Anti-Aging Day Facial Elixir from Eden’s Kiss. It’s made for normal to dry skin, and it contains natural ingredients like extra virgin olive oil, rose oil, German chamomile oil, and vitamin E. This elixir helps restore skin cells, heal inflamed and irritated skin issues, and reduce the stress your skin faces.
The winner will receive a bottle of Eden’s Kiss Anti-Aging Day Facial Elixir!
5. Tracey Mallett
I used Tracey Mallett’s prenatal yoga and pilates DVD when I was pregnant with my second, and I loved it. It was a nice balance of relaxation, stretching, and a low-key workout, especially good in the later end of my pregnancy.
Her recent project is called “Sexy in 6” – specifically geared towards moms. As a mother of two (who gained 55 pounds during her pregnancies), Tracey Mallett knows how hard it can be to find the time and energy to work out and eat right. So her new workouts are only SIX MINUTES EACH. They’re created so that you can do six minutes here, six minutes there, whenever you have a chance. Does this sound like a mother’s lifestyle, or what?
I love these workouts. My daughter does them with me, because six minutes is about her concentration span, and because they’re so short, I can grab a little workout here and there. My biggest block to working out is finding the time, so with Sexy in 6, I no longer have an excuse. These exercises are a combination of Pilates, yoga, cardio, and strength training.
Tracey also has a pretty vibrant online community and a blog, both good for moral support and accountability. Believe me, I’m so excited about her new workouts.
The winner will receive three Tracey Mallett DVDs – two Six Minute Quick Blast DVDs, and her 3-in-1 Prengancy System DVD!

Mine is the old boring standby… SLEEP! lots of sleep. And satin pillowcases so my hair doesn’t get tangly.
I try to drink a lot of water each day. I have naturally dry skin so it helps get my skin a little more hydrated.
abby´s last blog post…he has all the luck (still)
I agree, Sleep…Sleep is one of the best beauty secrets, but with a 2 yr old and 9 month old is hard to come by… so these products would be fabulous to help through the young years!
Marge´s last blog post…Weathering the Storm.
The one thing that always makes me feel beautiful is how my husband looks at me. And for him I love to make my skin glow and touchably soft. After a shower or bath, I smooth on Bath and Body Works Jasmine Vanilla Massage oil or Neutrogena Body Oil. I love how it makes me feel.
You have to make working out a habit. Trudge through it and make yourself go until it becomes your habit. Thanks for the chance to win.
Ashley´s last blog post…A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That
I have two…sleep is very important…and I too have trouble getting enough sometimes with a 2yr old and 5 month old but my whole body, skin included, feels so much better when I get a good rest….2) eating enough fruits and veggies in the day and drinking 6-10 glasses of water….feeling hydrated makes me feel energized!
shirley rempel´s last blog post…Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!
I would have to say it’s a combination of lots of water and my Neutrogena Acne Facewash and Lotion kit. One night leaving makeup on leads to a weeklong skin disaster!
Pure Aloe Vera – I keep a bottle in the shower. I can use a little on my skin right after the shower for a quick natural unscented moisturizer, which is great for my sensitive skin, not to mention it only takes about 20 seconds to do my whole body. Also, I use it as an occasional alternative to shampoo/conditioner. I just get in the shower, put it directly on my dry hair, and then shower as usual, rinsing it out last. Makes my hair super soft!
I have to agree with the above….sleep and plenty of water! Also~~a smile on your face makes anyone look more beautiful! Thanks for the giveaway! I love your blog!
My favorite beauty secret- same a a few people above- is sleep. Makes such a big difference in appearance and mood!!
After I brush my teeth, I always run the toothbrush over my lips to remove any dead skin. Then I coat them with chapstick before I go to bed at night. Helps lips stay soft. Sounds weird, but I’ve been doing it for years (I originally found this tip in a beauty magazine)!
My best beauty secrets are to drink lots of water and get plenty of sleep. These two things will do more good than any lotion or potion out there!
Dove Beauty Bar. It’s better for your face than bar soap and less expensive than most facial cleansers. I also love the smell of it.
It’s a little silly, but if I don’t have tons of time, I put on eyeliner and mascara and a little powder over my nose, and I feel much more presentable and confident. When you’re confident, you’re beautiful. Voila! And I only wear eyeshadow for special occaisions, otherwise it gets creased and looks garish and makes me look tired.
I use Crisco as a lip moisturizer…it’s cheap and works REALLY well to moisten super chapped lips.
Lots of sleep, and a good moisturizer for your skin type!
For me, it’s finding a good haircut! Which means something super easy (4 kids here) yet stylish.
ThereO´s last blog post…So What Is S.I.M.P.L.E.?
I definitely agree with the sleep and water comments. Also, with the current age of my little guy, the only thing in my beauty regime is to hopefully manage a shower everyday. Thanks for the giveaway.
I’m a beauty idiot unfortunately, lol…My old standby is a hair tie, lol
help me, lol
My beauty secret? Sleep! As much as I can get. Oh, and lots of laughing! (and maybe some chocolate too, it never hurts!)
I’d say exercise, followed by sleep… neither of which is easy with one or more little ones! I’d go with good moisturizer for an easy fix and a nice, pampering daily ritual.
Always wash your face before bed. Take that layer of makeup off and with it, the grime and stress of the day. It tells my body and mind that it is time for bed and helps to keep my face clear. Plus the added luxury of lotion afterwards helps me de-stress.
Michelle G´s last blog post…Snowflakes in California?
My tried and true? Sugar and Olive Oil Scrubs. I make them myself as needed – sometimes I use RAW sugar, others regular – and I just use the cheap olive oil in giant jugs from Sams Club.
Works wonders on my exczema and psorasis outbreaks in the winter.

A good eyelash curler is a girl’s best friend! My mom always used one, and as a kid growing up, I was always intruiged by the contraption! Now, I know why her eyelashes did (and still do) look so pretty! I read in a magazine to blow hot air (from a hair dryer) on the curler before using it — the heat makes the eye lashes stand up more.

I love coconut oil. I use it after the shower to help my winter dry skin. I fry my eggs up in it to help my innards and to improve the taste of my eggs.
Jeannine´s last blog post…this makes me extremely happy
My beauty secret during pregnancy is to rub sweet almond oil on the belly. Keeps it soft and stretchable.
It also is a nice moisturizer for severely dry hands.
Water. Lots of water. And, if it’s possible: sleep!
Carrie´s last blog post…Little Leaf Turkey Pies
olive oil and coarse salt mix for rough, dry feet. its an exfoliating, moisturizing scrub!
My biggest beauty secret is “A Smile”. It covers a miriad of flaws and makes your face just glow.
Annette´s last blog post…Sweet Christmas
My beauty secret is my bible! I find that my husband is more attracted to me when I am in God’s word, than when I do anything else.
Growing Daily´s last blog post…What exactly is Peace on Earth?
Regular exercise (which is pretty tough in this month’s weather!), plenty of sleep, staying hydrated.
This combo also works for fighting colds!
my beauty secret is pretty easy–work with what you have. it’s too hard keeping up with every potential trend in fashion and footwear and makeup. rather than make myself crazy, i try to avoid the myriad of exfoliants and lotions and such and do what makes me feel happier and more comfortable in my own skin. so i work with what i have, pick a routine (wash and lotion), a few makeup essentials (blush and mascara), and go with it. if relaxing doesn’t work, ask your sister (who hopefully is super with makeup like mine is) to do your colors….
One of my tried and tested beauty secrets is to rinse your hair with beer about every 6-8 weeks. (I do it after a haircut). It really makes your hair glossy and soft! I follow it with a mild shampoo (to take out the smell).
Bryssy´s last blog post…The Puking Disease
Sleep, lots of water ,I agree with all of these and lots of moisturizer too, especially this time of year. I love Burt’s Bees products which I discovered after the birth of our son. Their lotions smell sooooooo good, I always get compliments when I where them. But you know, just being out in the world with people, children, it just makes me feel so good, puts a smile on my face!
My beauty tip is mineral makeup. I use Bare Escentuals, but there are many different brands to choose from. It costs a little to get started, but it lasts forever!
Tammy´s last blog post…~Blameshifting~
I totally agree with the sleep and water (which I know I should drink more of!) For me, it’s actually DOING my hair, washing with MK Timewise Cleanser and Loreal Voluminous Mascara. Oh-and concealer! Unfortunately I was gifted with my mom’s under eye circles:(
Casey Sutton´s last blog post…Goodwill
My best secret is sleep-that really does make a difference.
LANSINOH – the very best lip moisturizer out there – it also works as a great lip gloss! Every winter I struggle with terribly chapped lips and resultant cold sores – Lansinoh has saved my sanity, after trying every product – Rx & over-the-counter, imaginable! Also works wonders on heels, elbows, dry “Mom hands” (mix with lotion, apply & put on cotton gloves when you go to bed), etc – not to mention sore nursing nips!
Mine is water. A lot of water helps heal a lot of issues.
Beauty secret. My best tip is that I spend very little time focusing on beauty. The outward kind that is. Not that the Lord didn’t do well for me, I have just chosen not to be about what I look like. I had too much of that in my childhood. Now, I get ready in five minutes, spend my time playing and enjoy life with my excellent husband and children.
Well, I must agree with digging my sleep. But spending time with Jesus is the only thing that counts for beauty with me. God bless.
Kara´s last blog post…Hanging in….
I agree with so many others – SLEEP! And in cold wintry weather, plenty of lip/hand/face moisturizer. Thanks for the great giveaway!
Definitely sleep for me! I feel better inside, which reflects on the outside!
mine is GOOD vitamins.
I notice a definite difference when I haven’t taken them, and although they’re expensive, I find that they are definitely worth the price.
Using a good moisturizer and a moisture rich body wash.
Sleep! If nothing else, it gives me the energy to take care of all the rest of the beauty routine.
I swear by Lorac tinted moisturizer with SPF 30. It takes as long to put on as lotion (no time at all), is sheer enough that my freckles show through but my skin tone is even, and SPF 30 keeps my skin safe from the sun.
I would say sleep and water. I don’t get enough of either with two little ones but I am working on it

I have an oldie but goody as well. Drinking lots of water.
sleep, water, exercise and healthy eating especially fruits and veggies
My best secret is I use a face cream called Anthelos. It has a sunscreen in it and it protects you from UVA and UVB rays. It’s really good for your skin and helps with lines/aging. It contains Meroxyl and I just love how it makes my face feel. It has done a lot for my lines!! Thanks.

Oil of Olay moisturizer has been one of the best things I’ve discovered. When I was in my mid-20s, I started noticing some fine lines and thought I should do something about it. I started with the plain ‘ole Oil of Olay, eventually tried the Olay Total Effects (which was good, but a lot more expensive and not any more effective for me), and went back to the plain ‘ole stuff! My skin thanks me for it morning and night! Built-in sunscreen is another plus!

my beauty secret is to drink lots and lots of water!
I get my hair colored every couple of months. But, because the particular type of coloring that is used it all natural and vegetable based, it always makes my hair extra shiny and healthy looking.
(I had to buy some soap nuts to try after reading this — it sounds really great!)

What a wonderful giveaway! I am 4 months pregnant and would LOVE the workout DVDs!
My beauty “secret” is to make sure to 1) drink enough water and 2) get enough sleep. No coverup is better than that!
Toothpaste on the blemishes. It really does work!
My tried and true beauty secret is not a product but a method: wake up, shower and do my hair. As a mother of two, going on three, there are days when this seems impossible to do this, but if I do, I feel and look better. And my husband always notices
Hot rollers. I watched my mom use them as a girl, and so I thought they were old fashioned. Now I use them because they don’t take as much attention as a curling iron, and I can do other things while they set. A good, smoothing shampoo helps unruly hair like mine, too.
Rae´s last blog post…Snow Day
Ice cold washcloth on the eyes. It takes away puffiness.
I have very dry skin, so I drink lots of water and stay away from anything with too strong of a scent.
The main thing for me has always been less is more! You can’t go wrong with less makeup…the natural look is the best!
Autumn´s last blog post…Aloha Friday
Number 1 is sunscreen, I didn’t use it when I should have and now my beauty secret for my crazy wrinkles around my eyes – aka crows feet, is to smile all the time. It makes me happy and it hides the crows feet.
I don’t know if this qualifies as a beauty secret, but I use my hair conditioner to shave my legs (and underarms).
Drink water, get to bed at a reasonable time, eat healthy, walk everyday, moisturize every night (using whatever works for you!), take a DEEP breath when you feel stressed.
Oh my goodness what great stuff! My all time favorite beauty tip that I use nearly every day has to do with puff eyes. Even before I was a Mom I had puff eyes and dark cycles simply from not getting enough rest. So, my Mom told me one day about putting 2 solid pieces of ice (one for each eye) in a wash cloth and getting it damp with cold water. Apply to eyes for 10-15 minutes and it helps a lot. For really puffy days I use tea bags that are soaked in ice water for 10-15 minutes, tea bags saved my wedding day!
Leah´s last blog post…Love Thursday: Sisters
I always put on lotion right out of the shower…it makes my skin soft all day long! Also, like others have said, adequate sleep always makes me feel so much better!
Eating yogurt or taking acidopholus supplements. Makes your skin nice and makes you feel good on the inside!
Chris´s last blog post…Another "Politically Correct" Holiday
I would have to say not eatting lots of junk food and not drinking soda. It helps that I love water and sleep!
oh my…i don’t know if i have one. i guess the first one that comes to mind is to fall in love
my skin was AMAZING on our wedding day…
but a little more practically, i’d say sleep & exercise…they both go hand-in-hand & my days filled with lots of both are the best days of the week
jpritchard´s last blog post…the monday curse.
Mine is to wear something that makes me feel good – for me, the brighter, the better. Even if I didn’t get enough sleep, or time to put my make up on, if I’m wearing something that makes me feel good – a favorite sweater, or piece of jewelry – it makes me feel better inside, and I think that comes through in my attitude. Thanks!

If only I followed my own advice…Use lotion on your hands! Especially if you wash them a billion times a day like I do and of course drink lots of water!

I wash my face nightly with baby soap and moisturize as well. No oily skin, no pimplse. I’ve been doing this for 10+ years. I also dring about 24-32 oz of water right when I wake up. That way, I’m halfway there for the entire day.
Jill´s last blog post…Advent Conspiracy
It has been said already, but I would say sleep… 8 hours would work well.
My hands get dry and cracked during the winter, and so do my feet. I slather petroleum jelly on my hands and feet and cover them with cotton socks at bedtime. It’s amazing what it does overnight.

Nothing makes me feel prettier than freshly waxed eyebrows. It’s odd, but keeping the monsters under control helps make my whole face look brighter – with or without makeup!
I’m no expert but laughter is one beauty secret that helps. It not only lifts of your mood and those around you but works facial and abdominal muscles.
Lynnette´s last blog post…Just a little sweet treat
Been using this little beauty secret since I was 16 years old. It discourages wrinkles from ever forming on your face. I’m 58 years old now and this little secret hasn’t let me down. It only costs $1.93. People, including my own grown children, always remark how wrinkle- free my face is, even when I’m standing outside in the outdoors (with no special lighting to illuminate my face). I never wear makeup but I ALWAYS dab a bit of my beauty secret around my eyes, above my upper lip and between my eyebrows. What is it?
Vaseline.

Thanks for the great giveaway! It would be nice to receive such a fabulous gift. My beauty secrets are an eyelash curler, lip gloss, always makes my whole face shimmer, a smile and aloe vera for smooth skin and it helps with acne – which i seem to be getting a lot of in my adult life
I use moisturizer religiously, and try to drink lots of water. I also notice that my skin is better without caffeine, but I’m not willing to give it up!!
What a great giveaway. All of the items are fantastic.
My biggest beauty secrets? Sleep, water and mascara! I could never leave the house without mascara. As much as I try to go natural in all aspects of my life, I haven’t been able to give that up yet.

Please enter me my name in your final giveaway basket before Christmas.
I appreciate it. Happy Holidays…..Cindi
Sleep is my #1 beauty secret. The other is Cetaphil — it’s hand down the best (affordable!) face cleanser I’ve ever used. My skin never gets dry and feels sooo soft when I use it.
Beauty secret? That’s a hard one. How about having a husband who likes the natural look?
FishMama´s last blog post…Kids in the Kitchen, Joy or No Joy?
My tried and true secret is sunscreen year round- the sun harms and dries the skin and cause damage a little bit at a time
washing my face with lowfat yogurt…
Water, yoga, sleep, Bare Escentuals Concealer, and Burts Bees chapstick. That’s it.
My tried and true beauty secret is a good night’s sleep!
What’s one of your tried and tested beauty secrets?
Water, lots of water, drink
use conditioner to shave with. the cheapest conditioner you can find works GREAT! not only will you save a lot of money, this will leave your legs very smooth. i did it once in a pinch and suddenly discovered the one thing that prevented razor burn
i haven’t had it since. and i have VERY VERY sensitive skin, so this should work for everybody.
I don’t have any great secrets, but if I have time to blow dry my hair after I shower it really makes me feel like a different person. I do not get to do this often so that probably makes it such a treat.
Go to sleep early!
Sleep and water! With three kids, all under the age of 4, this is not always easy! I have worked hard to get my younger two napping at the same time while my oldest has a “quiet time” I take a short 20minute nap during this time! It works wonders! I am a better wife and mommy because of that nap! I also make myself drink a huge glass (approx. 2 cups/16oz) of water in the morning, and again in the afternoon. Yeah, it’s still not the recommended 6-8 cups, but it’s better than nothing! The more water I drink, the more water I WANT to drink! I leave the glass out on the table or counter so I see it all the time!
I have two beauty secrets which really work for me–first I wear nothing but a light dusting of foundation, and I smile. It saves money, and people respond so much more positively to a smile than a new shade of lipstick. I know it sounds corny, but it works.
Second, no matter how bitter the weather I try to get outside for a short walk each day.
Rinda´s last blog post…My Favorite Attribute in Others–Mercy
Mine would be staying out of the sun. Not avoiding it all together, but being smart about when you are in it. Not laying around soaking up the rays that often.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I always slather myself when I get out of the shower and it makes such a huge difference in my skin!
Plenty of water, sleep…and Chapstick!
Sunscreen! I recently reconnected with an old highschool friend who commented that my face still looks young. I attribute this to wearing sunscreen on my face everyday.
I would have to agree…sleep, water, and time for yourself to “refresh”
I love to get a work out in too, that always helps ease stress and makes you feel better.
woohoo! great giveaway:)
Beauty secret. hmm…Make a concerted effort be reflective (every day!). It makes one more beautiful on the inside and that just radiates!
tara´s last blog post…true but not valid
I have 2. The most important is sleep! The other keeps my hands soft and smooth. I rub some olive oil in my hands, then sprinkle sugar on. Rub really good. Then add a bit of hand soap and wash. Follow with a great lotion. Soft smooth hands!
Heather G´s last blog post…
Drinking lots of water throughout the day. This is a wonderful giveaway.
Tan slowly. Instead of hitting the beach for a full day at the beginning of summer, I try to get short periods of sun throughout spring. it gives a healthy base tan and helps prevent burning, believe it or not!
Sleep! And if I can’t get enough of that, a good eyelash curler to make my eyes look brighter!
Sleep, water, exercise of course… but my real “beauty secret” is definitely waxed AND TINTED eyebrows! Huge difference =) No one can figure it out and I always get tons of compliments when I get them done (obviously I go too long between!)
Sunscreen and sleep: My mother and grandmother are beautiful in part because of sunscreen and sleep.
I use an oil-free daily moisturizer with 15 spf – my skin stays nice all year round!
Drink a lot of water
Mascara- nothing big

sleep and excersise seem to make me feel the best.
I get acne because my skin is dry–sounds strange, but the dry skin traps the bacteria. I hate using petroleum products, but Vaseline on my face overnight clears it right up. Use a towel over your pillow though.
I don’t really do that much beauty-wise (seldom wear makeup, etc) but one thing I do is wash my hair at night & let it air-dry. It saves time, energy, and is one less heat-processing thing my hair has to endure. In the morning, it’s dry & ready for my flat-iron!

i love my beauticontrol natural primer. for those days that i do put makeup on, i put some primer on first and the makeup stays put longer.
I love adding a little baking soda to my face wash. It’s a cheap and gentle exfoliator. Sometimes I add some to my shampoo as well- it strips styling products that have built up…
My little beauty secret is I keep a foot pummace in the shower. I scrub my feet while my conditioner is doin it’s thing and then my feet are soft and smooth. I paint my toenails when I’m done and it makes me feel sexy. Even in the winter time when I have socks on most of the time, it’s fun to have cute toes and feet.
Thanks for the great giveaway.

Wow. Well, I think these are wonderful products, but I’m not sure I have a beauty tip per se… more keeping-the-body-healthy tips, I guess. Like making sure to use lotion and gloves at night, because if my hands get dry and cracked, I get sick more easily. Or co-sleeping with a nursing baby – that nets you a LOT more sleep than having to get up to nurse countless times a night! (You have to do it safely, of course, and with common sense, but if you’re comfortable with doing it it’s wonderful.)
shaving every day in the shower keeps those little razor bumps away.

My secret is that I like to make homemade salt and sugar scrubs just for me to use. I drink lots of water, take a nap when I can and try to laugh more than cry, be angry or frown.
I have very dry skin and I also have eczema. For so long no matter what kind of eye cream I tried the area around my eyes would be dry and flaky in no time. So after hearing about how preperation H helped with bags under the eyes I decided to try it. I actually use the generic cream form and it keeps my eyes hydrated all night or all day. I will never try an expensive eye cream again.
Drinking lots of water and working out. I have added weight training to my workout and saw significant changes and weight loss!
I’ve found that the older I get (hit the big 5-0 this year), I really need to apply a moisturizer every night. I can totally see the difference when I wake up.
My best beauty secret(s) are to make myself wash my face before bed and drink lots of water. Often, I’m so tired that I just want to fall into bed, but the extra mintue or two to wash and moisturize my skin do help to prevent breakouts as I have sensitive skin. I’d love it if you’d pick me, as I’ve been wanting to try some new organic products and never know which are the best to choose! Thanks for this great offer!

For me it’s turning off the TV and doing my nighttime routine immediately after putting the kids to bed. ( at 7:30) Then with my clothes ready for the next day, table set for breakfast, bags and stuff near the front door and to do list out of my brain and on paper, I can RELAX. I do the brushing flossing moisturizing etc, and put on the on the jammies. Crawl into bed with a cuppa hot water, my gratitude journal and a good ( not to stimulating) book by 8:30. Lights out by 9 ( if I last that long……it’s been quite a few years since I’ve had a full nights sleep sans toddler calls). A few days of early bedtimes and I am positively radiant. Boring I know, but it works.

olive oil. Every few months(every month in the winter) I take a long bath and when I get out, I cover myself with a light amount of olive oil, head to toe. Its a secret I haven’t told anyone before. My friends still ask me how I keep my skin so soft, especially in the winter.

Oh TSH! WOWZA! What a fab, fab, fab giveaway.
Well, first of all, my tried and true beauty secret is one that I’ve only come across in the past year. It’s the Oil Cleansing Method (I’ve blogged about it and there are TONS of resources online – just google and you’ll see). It sounds CRAZY at first – using olive oil (or some kind of emollient oil) and castor oil on your FACE to CLEAN, but it really works and I will never return to traditional face care again.
Okay, I just twittered my other entry to ya.

My beauty secret is to not do anything. I mean, I usually brush my hair and teeth, but beyond that…nothing. I let my hair air dry and don’t overwash it, which keeps it healthier. I only wear make up on special occasions which makes those occasions even more special and protects my skin from the constant wear and tear of application and removal.

I need a beauty secret. I don’t get enough sleep and the only water I drink is my coffee. I am famous for eating junk food. So my beauty secret is don’t do what I do.
I use hydrogen peroxide to lighten up my hair…dilute with water and use as a rinse after the conditioner. It’s non-toxic and mess-free!
I also love Avon’s Moisture Therapy creams and the Soft and Sensual line of body lotions/gels/bath gel. I generally avoid strong-smelling lotions, but this has a very soft, rosy smell that my husband loves!
Lanolin cream does wonders for scabby, dry elbows or other rough spots! It can also be used for diaper cream-I use it when the kids have that really red, painful rash and it works better than regular cream…
I agree with others who have said that a smile is the best beauty treatment…my husband fell in love with my smile before we were married and still finds it immensely attractive.

Not a “new” one, but hair conditioner works for shaving cream in a pinch!
In an attempt to mention something other than the wonderful “plan” of plenty of sleep and lots of water, here is the best thing I can do to look my best each day: plan out an outfit before I go to bed.
If I pick out something to wear, especially on days when I’m just going to be at home, I am more likely to get out of my pj’s, fix up my hair, and get dressed. If I am dressed, I am more productive and feel better about myself. If I feel good about myself, I make better health decisions thoughout the day. It initiates a positive cycle.

I’d have to say that staying healthy is the best tip. Healthy food, healthy exercise & maintaining a healthy weight.
And always wear a little lipstick!
I don’t really have any beauty secrets to share. I’m in need of beauty secrets.
No surprise, it’s good old fashioned water and plenty of sleep. Water helps keep the organs hydrated while helping to move things through the system, including toxins that can make you feel and look less than your best. Plenty of sleep helps me feel relaxed and confident, and that’s true beauty! Thanks for brining these new products to our attention.

Tried and true thing is Toner. I always thought most people used it, but then I found out recently that a lot of my peers had no clue. Toner has made a world of difference for my skin. Currently I use Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner, it’s gentle enough on my sensitive skin but still does what it’s supposed to.
my tried and true beauty secret is getting plenty of sleep and drinking lots of water each day.
i put on lotion as soon as i get out of the shower. i’d have to say that and lots of moisturizer for my face are my two “beauty secrets” i do everyday!
I mix a little baking soda and water together to spread on my face, then I wash it off and get a good nights sleep
I used the oil cleansing method to wash my face. I used to be a pizza face, Mary Kay mostly controlled it, but the OCM has my face genuinely clear — and I only have to wash it a couple of times a week (or whenever I wear make up).

At least once a week, I use the Oil Cleansing Method to clean my face. I use a 2/1 ratio of extra virgin olive oil and castor oil, and I mix in essential oils to make it smell nice. (usually lavendar). I massage it into my face and neck and then steam my skin with a hot wash cloth before rinsing off. It makes my skin glow.
I also use the same mixture in a squirt bottle with a damp washcloth to take off eye makeup.
If I have time for nothing else I always dust on some face powder and sweep on some shiny lip gloss. It instantly improves my appearance and only takes a few seconds to apply.
Thanks for the chance to win!
I wash my face religiously every night, moisturize very carefully, and almost never wear make up. I only get break outs right before that time of the month. It’s awesome!

My secret to my facial cleansing is that I just don’t use soap on my face that often at all. I might use a facial cleanser once every few months, but for the most part, I just use a wash cloth and water as hot as I can stand it – then I let my face steam a bit, wipe it off well with the wet cloth, and use a little elbow-grease exfoliation if I have any dry skin spots. I’ve been asked numerous times what I use for my skin, and people are surprised when I say the only makeup I wear is lip gloss. I just don’t need to use anything else – this works well and it’s natural!

I love to use baking soda as a gentle exfoliant on my face about once a week. It’s cost effective and does a really great job on my sensitive skin! I also like to use extra-virgin olive oil or jojoba oil on my face as a moisturizer. EVOO also works great on fly-aways, but you have to be careful to only put a tiny bit in your hands, rub your hands together, and then gently run your fingers through your hair.
My favorite beauty secret is prayer. Praying often calms you, focuses you, and reminds you that God is in control. Peace inside gives beauty out.
Mine is Proactive. I’m not much for infomercials, but I had horrible breakouts with my second pregnancy and couldn’t find anything to help. On a whim, I ordered it and have been using it ever since!

I have to agree that staying out of the sun (which wasn’t always easy for me considering I’m from AZ) is one of the best tips. That, and getting some sleep. Of the two, staying in the shade is the easier. :O

Plain and simple…..sleep!!!!!!
My secret is to always wear blonde eyebrow pencil on my light eyebrows. The combo of that and a little lip gloss really helps me feel better.
Vaseline: can use to remove makeup, as a super-moisturizer, for chapped lips or skin. . . you name it, it does it!
I have breakouts, and the best thing I can do to keep them under control is NOT TOUCH!
Well now it’s obvious to me that my beauty “secrets” aren’t secrets at all b/c they’ve already been said multiple times: sleep, exercise and water.
Fixing my hair seems to go a long way, too. =)
I keep a bottle of oil as part of makeup routine – grapeseed oil, almond oil, anything like that. It is great for so many things: removing makeup, especially stubborn mascara, extra moisture on my face, under my moisturizer in winter, dry noses from too much blowing, dry lips, moisture for dry cuticles. So many things. Even my husband uses it at times.
Emu oil makes a great moisturizer, and it clears up all sorts of minor skin irritations.
i only wash my hair every other day.

, I use only Dove bar soap, for my face and body. It simplifies things and costs less than having a special facial cleanser.

sleep. pray. drink water all day. a bit of yoga thrown in for warmth & flexibility.

Baking soda in my bath water for soft skin!
My beauty secret is my kids and the smiles that they cause each and every day!!
The best beauty tip I have is to find an undereye concealer that totally matches your skin color and blends in to your skin. I use Lancome Effacernes waterproof concealer in Porcelaine I – it costs $26 but a tube lasts me at least 6 months and it’s the one thing I splurge on. Otherwise I look half dead.
Catherine´s last blog post…40 Weeks
Tea tree oil is amazing…I use the Burt’s Bees blemish thingy, which is basically just tea tree oil to clear up any nasty zits. Plus, tea tree oil is great for clearing up infections…like around your belly button ring (yep, dealt with that one also)…
SLEEP!!!

I drink warm water, 8 cups a day. Good, good, good.
Great gift basket for your giveaway. Most ideas are already mentioned
for secret tips. I love to include lots of fresh fruits and veggies in our
daily diet for better health.
My best (and probably only) beauty secret is to use heavy duty lotion on feet and hands, then sleep in socks and cotton gloves. Keeps the moisture in!
I love my brush on bronzer from Sephora! I feel so much brighter when I have it on!
I had oily skin all my life and never needed moisturizers until… pregnancy. It took me a while to figure out what was going on with my skin, but once I did, I slather moisturizer all over me every chance I get.
Leigh´s last blog post…My New Thing: Letting Go of Guilt
Aside from plenty of sleep, water, and moisturizer, I look and feel better with a little pink blush and mascara. For my pale skin, a little blush helps me to look bright and fresh even if I haven’t gotten a ton of sleep. I also love Bobbi Brown concealer and eye brightener. They are expensive products but so worth it.
Coconut Oil, it is the best for soothing skin and taming my eczema.
A really good moisturizer is vital, I have found.
What a great question! i love finding new beauty tips..my new one is Almond Oil. I put it on at night as my moisturizer and my skin is super soft in the morning.
1 – Getting my eyebrows professionally waxed – even on my bleariest days it makes me look more put together
2-Vaseline . . great for windburn, lip gloss, baby’s bottoms, makeup remover and more
Ooh, all my favorite things! What fun!
Tried and tested beauty secret… wash your face with Cetaphil morning and night, and always use sunscreen.
Myrnie´s last blog post…She’s Here!
Coconut Oil! I use it as an all over moisturizer. It is very moisturizing but also very light, and it smells great. I also use it in homemade deodorant and homemade toothpaste.
looks just like the perfect pick-me-up for the winter!
My beauty secret is to stick with a good hairstylist – I’ve been with mine for four years now, and it’s great to have someone who knows my hair and knows me well enough to tell me that my latest hair whim isn’t a good idea!
Jennie´s last blog post…Tagged!
since having 2 kids i don’t devote time to a beauty routine- rarely remember to moisturize… only wear eye makeup when i go out with dh (and that’s rare), but my one beauty bit is i always wear lipstick – it can take me from tired to attractive in 2 seconds. Nothing wakes up a face like lipstick!
I have to agree, sleep is my best tip. I also love a good, gentle facial cleanser (I use Aveeno), and Burt’s Bees lip gloss!
Sleep. If I get it, I glow. But finding a way to get it with a baby and a small child is tough…
Smelling great … I’m not a big perfume fan, but I think finding a smell that fits you and your personality can lift your spirits and make you feel more alive/more beautiful. I use LUSH solid perfume, but also like the scent of Burt’s Bees Baby.
My secret is The Salt Project (www.saltproject.com). It is a bath scrub and oil I use. I have been using it for a few years and it keeps my skin incredibly soft. So soft, in fact, that I haven’t had to use lotions for years! And I used to slather that stuff on head to toe!

Threading. It’s like waxing for eyebrows but so much more precise.
Yep, same tried & true beauty secret here good ole’ SLEEP!! I find that if I don’t get my body’s required 8 (which is hard to do these days) I look like I’ve been run over by a train!
Hugs & Blessings!

olive oil instead of lotion…it’s a great way to re-hydrate and moisten your skin, especially right out of the shower!
What a lovely giveaway! I lather on a moisturizer in the morning and before I go to bed on drier areas (feet, cuticles, elbows).

Mine is a little lotion called Colladerm. It’s just simple collagen that I put on my face as lotion – not oily, hypoallergenic and inexpensive! Why pay big bucks for products with a bunch of fillers?

I gently exfoliate my face with a soft, warm washcloth while in the shower. It helps remove dry skin, and my face is always shiny and absorbs moisturizer better afterward. I also keep the warm washcloth over my face for a moment to help open pores and soothe my tired eyes (mom of a 6mo).
Lots and lots of water. I drink tons each day and it keeps me healthy and glowing
I like coconut oil. It’s a good natural moisturizer for hair and skin. I smooth a little on before bed, braid my hair, and wash it out in the morning. Silky!
Mama K´s last blog post…We’re going to have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny f-ing Kaye!
I don’t really have tried and true secrets. I do know this, my mom is 61 and looks younger than me. Her secret? Well, good genes of course, and she puts VASELINE on her lips and around her eyes at night. She used to use Oil of Olay (Oil of Ol’Lady as a friend likes to call it) but found the greasy goop works wonders. I wish I could send you a picture of her beautiful skin!
my secret is washing my face twice a day, every day! it should seem simple enough, but the motivation to wash my face at night, when I just want to crawl into bed, is difficult to come by! I have found that if I wash my face as soon as I’m in for the night, instead of waiting until I’m too tired, that’s one way to get it done.
I soak my feet while my son is taking his bath. I can get a quickie pedicure while he gets clean.
I use a heated mask scented with lavender to relax my face. It heats in the microwave!

mine is just being happy and positive. that and lots of water.
This might sound weird, but I use a paste of baking soda and water to scrub my face.

My beauty secret is to take a nice relaxing bath atleast 3 times a week. I also like to add 1/4 cup of salt and 1/4 cup of baking soda to the bath for a little detox. It’s very soothing and keeps me feeling pretty!
One beauty secret of mine is a semi-annual massage. I feel much happier afterwards. I ask for gift certifcates on mother’s day, my birthday and christmas.
i try to drink water frequently throughout the day…. also some type of fruit scrub on the face does wonders to dry, winter skin.

Milk of Magnesia for blemishes. No kidding. It’s inexpensive, easy-to-find, and kind to your skin. Just put it on a cotton ball and either dab right on the blemish, or use it all over your face for preventive measure. Then wash it off after it’s dried and you’re going to be amazed at how quickly your blemish heals up.

My favorite beauty secret? Egg masks are great for a protein boost in damaged/color/heat-styled hair! Be sure to rinse with COOL water, though. Honestly, I’ve had little bits of scrambled eggs from rinsing with hot water. = )

Smiling is my ultimate beauty secret… though it’s not a secret at all.
Liz´s last blog post…5 Things I Do Each Day….
I read a quote that said something like “joy is the best cosmetic”. You can put expensive creams and fancy make-up all over your face, but it won’t do any good unless you smile! As for a beauty tip, I can only recommend a moisturizer I love that I bought at the natural foods store. It’s by a company called Answers from Nature and it’s the botanical moisturizing cream. Love it!
Heather´s last blog post…Catch the Moon
I wash my face every night with very warm water with a super cold splash after all the soap is off. I then apply either aloe vera or a favorite moisturizer. I also use Vaseline on my hands instead of lotion. A little goes a long way and keeps your hands super soft.

Hair clips! My hair is pretty long, and in just a second I can whip my hair up in a clip and pull off looking somewhat classy.
Honestly, quitting drinking soda pop and drinking tons of water has done WONDERS for my complexion. And when you consider I do not wear any makeup, this is VERY important!

what a great give-a-way! thank you for sharing!
my favorite as many many people have mentioned, is sleep. I also love tweezers! keep a pair with you so you can grab stray hairs when you find them instead of them annoying you all day.
Pure Aloe Vera. I put it on before my lotion in the morning and evening.
I don’t use many products, but these all sound great!! I think walking, sleeping and drinking water are the best thing to do! Which means you need to do them for you! If you don’t do something for yourself everyday, you will be crabby and it isn’t pretty!!
Drink lots of water. I need to get back on track with my water intake, my skin always looks better, and I feel better when I am properly hydrated.
I have to say my Mary Kay Miracle eye cream (I think) has worked wonders for my eyes! I was starting to see wrinkles and I swear they were gone after using it for a short time.
My beauty secret is to use lanolin (I got it for breastfeeding) on my heels and toes to keep them from cracking during the dry winter months. It works like magic and it’s all natural!
Kate´s last blog post…A Brief Picture Catch-up

Water!!
The thing I really try to do is take time for me. If I can have just a few minutes each day to myself I find that I am able to conquer the world. Thanks for the fun gift baskets you’ve put together.
I use Aveda’s Hand Relief before going to bed on my hands and feet and it keeps them from being dry in the winter. They have a separate product for feet, but Hand Relief works just as well for both.
I have very thick, coarse, wavy hair. The greatest thing anyone every told me was to only wash it twice a week. I got rid of all my split ends, flyaways and lost the ‘lampshade’ look. Suddenly, my hair looked smooth and healthy instead of a dried-out haystack.

An eyelash curler and Vaseline. Curl the eyelashes and then dab a little bit of Vaseline onto them and suddenly your eyes look brighter and bigger . . . even on 2 hours sleep.
I have two, a brisk walk outside in fresh air and an old toothbrush works great to separate your lashes after applying mascara. Thanks for sharing the information on these products!

Sleep, sunscreen and NEVER smoking. Boring, but true. Thank you for the fabulous giveaway. I want to try ALL of these things!
I wash my face and use moisturizer AND sunscreen EVERYDAY.
I use just plain old Oil of Olay but I have been doing it since I was a pre-teen. I JUST turned 40 and people are shocked to find out I am as old as I am, most think I am in my late 20’s. Maybe that last birthday a little bit easier

My beauty tip is to get my hair trimmed every 8 weeks or so. As mothers, we tend to forget to take care of ourselves, and after a while, our hair just looks ratty. It doesn’t cost much, and the styling afterwards makes me feel special.
Simple and easy get lots of sleep and drink lots of water.

I love to slather lotion all over my feet and sleep with big, fluffy socks, keeps my feet so soft all winter. An unrushed shower early in the morning before the baby wakes up makes me feel more together and beautiful–it has so much to do with how you feel about yourself!

Whatever facial moisturizer or treatment you use, make sure
to include your neck! As years go by, this will be important.
Also, after using sunscreen on your face and neck, rub some on
your hands to prevent age spots later on.
Great lip balm is probably my tried and true tip. It’s relatively cheap, but if you get a good scent, it can really help pick you up. Plus, I hate it when my lips are chapped. It hurts and looks horrible.

I don’t wear much makeup, but everyday I put on a little mascara. To really make my eyes pop I warm my eyelash curler with the blow dryer, usually for 8-10 seconds. I touch the curler to my cheek to make sure it’s not too hot (BE CAREFUL), then I curl my lashes with it and apply a coat of mascara! Viola!
So curious about these soap nuts…
1. Sleep.
2. Moisturize.
My tried an true beauty secret is to be happy. If you have a smile on your face, it is beautiful.

Hi, I love this gift basket and REALLY hope I win…
Here’s my beauty secret…no dairy. All of my siblings and I break out when we eat dairy, so I don’t eat dairy when I need to look good. That’s it!
I don’t really have any “secrets” for being beautiful. But one thing I believe steadfastly is that if you are an ugly person in attitude, spirit and treatment of others, no amount of makeup, hairstyling or expensive clothing can undo that ugliness. So I strive to let things roll off my back, stay away from gossip, praise and compliment people, and serve whenever I can. To me, that is the first beauty step.
I use a moisturizer that contains sunscreen every day.
I tweeted about the giveaway…thanks Tsh!
I like washing my face with a olive oil/castor oil mix in the winter time – it feels like a facial, is totally natural, and keeps my skin soft, clear and moisturized.

Well, sleep, of course! But something that I try to do at least every other night is a gentle facial massage, either when I’m washing my face, or when I’m applying moisterizer. Especially at the temples!
Aloe Vera cures fire ant bites!! And my most favorite…it may sound gross but it works for me…I NEVER wash my make up of and clean my face. When I did, I got acne!
put a dab of toothpaste on a pimple at night and in the morning it will be gone!! seriously, works for me!
An apple a day. . . oh that’s for health. .
Water, sleep and a good moisturizer with SPF.
I do like the OCL method too. . . it’s amazing.
My beauty secret is Olay Complete in the am, a firming lotion like Neautrogena in the pm, and exfoliating once a week (I use a masque that helps control oil). I am 31 and I get IDed for cigarettes – people can’t believe that I am as “old” am I am! And I love it!!!

I’m going to agree with getting enough sleep which is hard to do when you are a mom of little ones. I do my best though.
Lotions with african shea butter for extremely dry skin. Works great!

Oil of Olay. I watched my grandma use it nightly as a child. Then I watched my mom use it…to this day. And I use it every day and have since I was about 15.
This is no secret, but: Wash your face EVERY DAY. Seriously, every day… even when you’re tired. It’s worth the extra minutes.

Sleep, water, lip balm, a hot shower, a well-fitted bra, and a deep breath. These usually do the trick!
Lots of water, daily flossing, & an intense lip balm at bedtime to keep my chap-prone lips healthy.
I don’t know that I really have any secrets! I try to drink lots of water during the day and get exercise.
Not really a secret but I feel 100% better when I avoid caffeine! I always think it is going to pick me up and I want to reach for a Diet Coke but if I don’t I feel great!!
