I never thought about it as a kid – and I didn’t really think about too much as an adult until the kids in our house outnumbered the adults.

When I was 10 I promised my mom I would give her 117 grandchildren! Though that number of children is unlikely, I would love to have a very large family!

For some reason, I thought I wanted to be like my family, with just 2 kids. And I thought I wanted to work. I now stay at home with my three sons and watch one other.

I wanted a big family, but since I’m the oldest of 4. I wanted my first to be a boy (secretly wanted an older brother when I grew up). I have settled with my husband in 3, but I’d just love if God gives me more, having them or adopting them. We have our first baby (20m) and trying for next one ) and I’m sure our girl is going to be the best oldest sister ever.

I was pretty boy crazy growing up, so I played a lot of those love match games (remember MASH?) and always had to give four options for the number of kids. I remember putting zero as an option because apparently 4 sounded like too many. I imagine 3 sounded like too many at the time, too, but I had to put down that fourth choice.
