The second giveaway is from Fill In The Blankie. You’ll feel cozy just perusing this website – my son recently received an embroidered blanket from them, and it is amazingly soft.

This company makes giving a baby blanket so much more than a standby shower gift – you can customize any variety of blanket with any statement in a whole variety of fonts and colors. You can be as creative or as classic as you want – customize the blanket with the baby’s name and birth date, or share one of your favorite quotes around the edge of the blanket.
All the blanket fabrics are velvety soft – you can choose anything from cable knit to Portuguese sateen. The blankets are delivered tied in a gorgeous satin bow, making it an ideal baby gift.

One Simple Mom reader will win a completely customized baby blanket from Fill In The Blankie – you can choose everything from the fabric type, to the color, to the fonts, to the wording. This gift is valued between $39 and $109, depending on your choice of blanket.
Here’s How To Win:

2. To get a second entry – and a second entry on all the giveaways this week – subscribe to the Simple Mom feed and email me the movie quote at the bottom of any post in your feed reader or email inbox (there is only one quote for all the giveaways). I wanted five kids. I wanted a daughter first (haha – things don’t always turn out the way we dream) and then, wait 3 years and then, have a boy, wait another year and then, have a second boy. And then, wait 4 years and then, have twin girls.
I also said that my dream car would be a station wagon so I could fit all of my kids in it!
I have always wanted a ton of kids, and always, always a set of twins. Right now we have three little girls but who knows what God has planned for us?

I never expected to have a family until I met my husband. I always wanted to globe-trot, but now I’m planning on two kids and a patch of farmland in the Midwest. It’s amazing how drastically our wants and priorities can change as the years pass.
I’ve always wanted a big family…which to me consists of 3+ kids, boys or girls, I don’t care! In the last few years we’ve also started talking about adoption which to us is such a beautiful comparison to the gospel and God’s grace on us. We have one 10 mo. old little boy right now and we’re ready for our family to grow again!
These blankets are amazing! Thanks for the chance to enter.
I wanted four kids. I only had a brother and thought it would be nice to have more siblings. My husband has three siblings. He only wanted two kids. Now that we’ve got our two, that’s enough for me, too!

I’m pretty sure there was a good chunk of time when I was little that I wanted twin girls who I would dress alike and the whole nine yards : ) Thanks for the chance!
When I was young I wanted to have 4 kids. Now I am not so sure. But we will just see what God has in store for us! Thanks for this awesome giveaway!

I wanted 5 kids, close together in age. Until I had children of my own, I had no idea how much work that would be!
Those blankets are beautiful!
I thought a lot about kids when I was younger, and I knew that I didn’t want ANY! I was very idealistic and thought that having kids would get in the way of my all-important career. And, well, I guess I was right about the difficulty of combining kids and career, but I’ve also found that kids are awesome, and my life is so much richer for having had my little guy.

I always wanted a large family, lots of kids. I ended up with just two. But they are the best and I enjoy them immensely.

I always wanted 2 kids. I just had my daughter this year, so we’re one and counting.
When I was a kid, I wanted seven children

I wanted 2.
I would LOVE to win this. I always wanted three kids growing up.
When I was 11, I wanted (and believed I would have, without a doubt) at least 5 children, mixed boys and girls – no specific number of either. I am 30 right now, and I have have one son. I count my blessings for him everyday, and sometimes think back to my chilhood prediction. If I’m going to achieve my lofty goal set 19 years ago, I guess I had better get busy!
Before I knew how things worked, I wanted 100! I revised that to 12 and then lowered that number after each child…LOL! We ended up with 4.

I wanted 10 growing up! I came from a family of 5 and thought having a huge family would be fun. Needless to say being 8 months pregnant with my first I am reconsidering the number…I am thinking 3 or 4 sounds good
Laura´s last blog post…One More..
I came from a family of 7 so of course that is what I wanted. I stopped at 6. 3 girls and 3 boys ages raging from 20 – 4. Whew! What a group – love them all. Darling blanket , would love to win it.
I wanted six children – 3 boys and 3 girls. I also thought I could have six kids and at the same time have a beautiful home, a happy husband and a full-time job as a doctor.
Well, I have three kids (so far, but we probably won’t get to six), a functional, comfortable home, a happy husband, and no outside job. I also have no desire for med school. Funny how things can change.
Growing up I knew I wanted two because I had one brother and couldn’t imagine having a family without sibs. As I got older I decided that I wanted at least three if not four because I want to have a large family.
When I was little, I wanted 2 or 4 kids. My family had 3, and someone was always left out. That thought hasn’t really changed. We just had a little girl, so we’re on our way. We might have 3 and adopt one.
I think I wanted one boy and one girl, in that order. Then I didn’t want any. I came from a big family (one of seven), so I think I was overwhelmed with that many family members. I’m pregnant with my first, and I still only want two–though I’m not too concerned if they’re boys or girls.

I wanted 2 kids, a girl (first) and then a boy – just like my mom. And that’s what I ended up with!
I always wanted three kids…I’m about to have my second pretty soon!

I have always wanted six kids. We are on our way… we have four! I don’t think we are going to make it to six though.
3 or 4. now i want three, maybe

Easy, I wanted none! No kids. Not even a husband. Now I have a husband and 2 kids and we want at least a few more. I had no idea how I would love being a mom!

I always wanted two.
I wanted to have all boys and they would all play basketball…I dont know where that idea came from, but I have two and they both play basketball and I wouldnt trade my two girls for any basketball player in the world!
I was an only child but didn’t like it, so when I was a kid I imagined having anywhere from 6 to 12 kids of my own when I grew up, with at least a few sets of multiples. Now I’m thinking I’d like to start with just one and see how it goes…
When you were a child, how big a family did you want when you grew up?
I always wanted 2 boys and a girl. I have 2 sons and a stepdaughter, so it worked out well.
And, I tweeted.

I wanted a very very large family – I think 9? I can’t remember. Now we are just taking them one at a time!
Two and counting!

I always wanted a boy and a girl, because that is what we have in our family. But now, we would like to have more than two – only God knows how many!
I always wanted five kids when I was growing up. I only have one sibling and always wished I had more. We had three children back to back and now that our youngest just turned 4, it’s looking unlikely we’ll have more. I’d love to have two more, but I have to face reality. I need to make sure I’m doing a good job with the ones I have before considering having any more.
I knew very young that I’d never be able to birth a child due to health reasons. I also knew that I WOULD adopt. I now have 3 children: 1 adopted and 2 that we are fostering with the goal of adopting. I once told my grandmother that I didn’t care what color she was, I would have a baby girl. I’ve been a foster mom to girls of all colors and loved every one.
As a very young child, I wanted 100 children. As I matured it became 10 children. When I got married, I said that I wanted five. I now have five but would love one more!
When I was a kid, I wanted to have 4 kids. We’ve got #2 on the way, so we’ll see!

When I was young I didn’t want a family. I wanted to live and work in NYC and travel extensively with my job. I was sure that being a mom was not for me. Now that I stay at home with my two small kids, I wouldn’t have it any other way. What a foolish child I was!
Somewhere between 3 and 5 is what I said!
So far I have two.

I always wanted 3… Boy, Girl, Boy-so my girl wouldn’t be too girly
but, I was blessed with two beautifu girls, who love princesses, ballet and shoes, and to play in the mud from time to time.
I have one brother, so I always wanted 2 kids–a boy and a girl
Thanks for the chance to win!
I always wanted 5 until I was in my early 20s and was a nanny for a family with 5 kids. That changed my mind in a real hurry! LOL! Then I thought maybe 3 or 4 until we had our first and then I decided 2 was going to be the max for me.
Now we have 2 and we are done and I think it’s just right for us.
0-1. If i had one, I wanted it to be a boy.
I have 4 girls.
I wanted a large family at least 3 kids. My senior year in my high school yearbook I said I wanted 6 kids. My husband wanted 2, we have 4, I think we are “done” but I wouldn’t object to one more.
Mindy´s last blog post…So Behind and I’m in
I very much enjoyed having my brother. We fought a lot but we new we were a team in the end. No matter what bad things might have happened, I always new I had him and that was very special for me. So, I often dreamt of having two children, not more than I could handle but enough that they would always have each other… as so I did
I don’t remember actually thinking about how many children I’d have. There were three children in my family, and I have three of my own now.
I always thought that one boy and one girl would be perfect. I’ve got the girl…

I don’t know that I really thought about the numbers when I was little, I just knew I wanted kids. When I was in high school I knew I wanted more than 2; at some point it was from 4 to 7. If I were to only have one gender, I wanted boys. Well, I’ve got 4 boys now, ages 4 and under, and I’m thrilled (and tired!)
jamie´s last blog post…This year…
It changed every few years. First, it was 12 (my mom is one of 12), then, when I was a bit older, 10, then 9, then 8, then 6 (all through high school and up until I was 20 and got married), and now my husband wants 2. So either we’re done, or who knows!
I always thought I wanted to have one and adopt one!
I grew up with 4 and have always wanted the same number. Two, just isn’t enough, 3 there’s an odd one out and four is a lot but not too many! I’m prego with my 3rd child, a boy, he’s due in March!!!

I am the youngest of three and always wanted three, however my husband is the middle child of three and vowed never to three. So we have two a girl and a boy. Plus it is man on man defense and if we had any more we would have to go to zone defense and be out numbered

oops. i posted my comment on the potty training post. i wanted 5 kids! im up to 2.5 so far.
I wanted to have at least a dozen kids! I remember my kindergarten teacher laughing at me when we were told to color pictures of what we wanted to be when we grew up. My picture was of me and all my kids and the last 2 were twins, lol! I’m pg with #4 right now, so who knows? Maybe my little girl dreams will come true!
I always said I wanted four kids- I wanted to have two, then wait several years, and have two more. Now that I have two ages 4 and 5, I think they’ve done me in and we are probably done!
I wanted two. I have one now. One more to go
When I was growing up I wanted 2 girls. Partially so I could play with their toys and also because I felt boys were soooo messy
when i was a kid i wanted about 4 kids. later, i didn’t want any. now i have four.

This would be perfect as we recently found out we were expecting!
I was an only child and because of such I always thought I wanted a very large family. Think 5-6 at least. After having one I decided not so much lol. I *think* we will be done with 3.
Michelle´s last blog post…Ummm…Oops….
i wanted 4 or 5 kids and wanted us all to live on a farm.
Oh dear! When I was a kid, I alternated between no kids and four kids. I have two children now and I’m quite thrilled with them. No more, no less.
I was an only and thought I probably wanted more than one. I was right! I have two! I have a lot of respect and empathy for parents of onlies, though. Being an only was great and I think sometimes people get a lot of grief for keeping it at “one.” One can be one-derful!
My ds, 4 months, would love a blankie like this!
I wanted 3, 2 boys and 1 girl. I have my one girl, so we’ll see how the boys work out.
Hayley´s last blog post…And the Beat Goes On…
When I was a girl, I imagined having 4 kids. We have two girls and a boy and are ready to quit. If I had the energy of a child, maybe I would have one more!
I always swayed from one extreme to the other, wanting 5-6 to only one. I have a sister who is 2 years younger and the days she really annoyed me, I didn’t want to subject my first child to a younger sibling! I have two down and know we’ll have at least one more, if not two.
I wanted 20 kids when I was in elementary school. After high school, I didn’t want any! Now, after having two children, I want 20 again
I always thought 2 boys & now I have 2 girls… with our third on the way. Of course, after my first daughter was born I was convinced I wanted 10 and then I had my second… I think we’ll be stopping at three, but I guess that is up to God ultimately!
I’m from a family of eight kids, so I’ve always liked having a lot of people around. I don’t think I’ll end up with quite that many, but my husband and I still want a large family.

I thought I’d have 3…now with a two year old and 1 on the way…I’m already overwhelmed and rethinking that number!
I wanted one kid. I was one of three girls, but my best friend was an only child. Her dad had the same job as mine, but she had so much more stuff than I did because hers wasn’t split three ways.
I changed my mind, though. Now I’m thinking two.
1 or 3, and I have 2 : )
I wanted six kids – I was an only child and I never wanted to inflict that on my own children!

With only one sibling, I definitely wanted a houseful! Now that I’m a mom, it’s a bit more daunting
I wanted 4 children. I thought that I’d at least have a couple of girls. I now have twin boys and after a traumatic birth I think we are finished. Thankfully I have nieces and I LOVE HAVING BOYS! Who da thunkit?

Four boys- was I MAD?! I can just about handle one of each these days. Good thing we don’t have all our wishes come true!
I always imagined myself with 2 girls – just like my parents. But, I have 2 boys and am ready for more (boys or girls). I love the idea of a big family now!

I wanted a boy and a girl. I have 3 boys ;o)
I didn’t want any! I tortured my mother telling her I would never give her grandkids. Now I have one and would gladly have at least 2 more if my husband were game. (he’s not) LOL
When I was young, I didn’t want ANY kids. I was so frightened about the pain of childbirth. As I grew older, I realized that was a silly fear… and decided I’d like to have 3 children.
I now have two… and I think I might be done.
When I was growing up, I always thought I would have two children, a boy and a girl. When I married, my husband said he always thought he would have six. We have three:)
