This giveaway is now closed. Check back on July 4 for the winner!
Welcome to the Simple Living Media Summer Block Party! We’ve got 20 giveaways across the entire network this week to give you plenty of chances to win!
Remember Joovy, the company giving one of you a stroller? Well, they’ve got something else for you this week — their new highchair, the Nook. This bad boy is a sleek, sophisticated highchair with one of the best features you can ask for in a baby product — it folds down to nearly nothing.
I normally stick to just a travel highchair that you secure on top of a regular chair. But the Joovy Nook is so compact, you can store it out of sight, and it’s pretty much just as easy to travel with as a traditional travel highchair.
See what I mean?
The “leatherette” chair is incredibly soft, and even the solid white chair I was given is impeccably easy to clean. It has a great design aesthetic, which I think is important — I’m not a big fan of baby products that look, well, babyish. This works perfectly in our kitchen.
The Nook is also easy to clean and it’s easy to get your kiddo down — the tray swings open so that you don’t have to mess with putting a messy tray somewhere.
In my opinion, the one caveat is that it works a bit better for a toddler than a baby, only because the tray isn’t adjustable. However, this is minimal, because with the five-point harness, a little one can still be strapped in securely and reach for her food on the tray.
All in all, this is a very cool highchair.
One Simple Mom reader will win a Joovy Nook highchair!

The messiest – anything with noodles!
I recently got rid of our high chair and thought I would easily replace it with something that would fold away for baby #3 due in September. This looks like just the thing!

Right now, my 2 yr old makes the biggest mess with yogurt.
Now that my son has officially graduated to the “feed himself everything” lunch time, him using a spoon to eat yogurt or applesauce is definitly the messiest!

My little one can mess and entire room with 4 crackers. He will eat the first two and then crumble the second two up into the tiniest pieces and toss them about like snow. We don’t eat many crackers indoors for this reason.
My littlest are twins so we have double the mess!! I would definitely say breakfast..thats why they don’t get dressed until they have eaten!

Spaghetti with red sauce is his favorite meal and the hardest to clean….that sauce sticks to everything!!

My daughter is 18 months old and wants to try and eat with her own spoon and fork, but she’s definitely still getting the hang of it. Whenever she eats couscous, those little grains get EVERYWHERE! It’s unreal. But nowadays, I usually head straight to the bathtub with her after dinner.

I’m a little anal retentaive about messes at mealtimes. My first baby was only once allowed to go at his meal with his hands. It almost gave me a heart attack. My new baby is just starting solids, so no big messes yet!
Cracker crumbs…I swear they multiple like an infestation and get into every nook and cranny!
I don’t have a little one yet; I’m due with my first in December. I’d love, still, to stock up on those essential items such as a highchair for when the time comes!
Anything mushy, like yogurt. He usually squishes it up and gets some in his hair.
At the moment, my son makes the biggest mess eating rice cereal.

Biggest messes are with oatmeal. I’ve learned to not wait to clean those messes up.
Everything. He eats 2 meals. The one on his plate and the second one from his second plate, his chair. When he’s finished eating from his plate, he gets down and eats all the food that fell into his chair.
The dog gets the 3rd meal, the floor.
I’m already a Simple Mom subscriber
Spaghetti is definitely the biggest mess!
My LO’s make the biggest messes with pasta and red sauce!

My little boy makes the biggest messes whenever my back is turned! It doesn’t matter what it is, if I look away for a second it’s all up in his hair and all over his chair and the floor!
My little one is still one the way, but if he’s anything like his father and me, he will manage to make a mess out of anything and everything!
