So we’re starting off the Block Party on Simple Mom with a bang, thanks to Joovy. I’m happy to take a little break from my maternity leave in order to try out this fun Joovy Caboose Ultralight stroller with my newly expanded family. And already, it’s been a hoot toting my three (three!) kiddos around on one streamlined stroller.
I’ll admit I was a smidge hesitant at first to try out this stroller. After all, I’ve been perfectly content with our smaller stroller, and I just didn’t love the thought of lugging around a larger tandem stroller. But I’m happily surprised at how lightweight and compact this stroller is… for a tandem stroller, that is.
Sure, this Caboose Ultralight is not as tiny as my single ride stroller. But it’s pretty darn sweet how my two-week-old, two-and-a-half-year-old, and my five-year-old can all climb aboard and ride comfortably. It folds up nicely and fits in our trunk, no problem, and it’s a breeze to snap the stroller open. I can even do it one-handed!
My newborn’s Graco Snugride carseat fits perfectly in the front with the included attachment to accommodate little ones. Even though this is officially a double stroller, my toddler or preschooler can sit nicely on the backseat, and sometimes they can even snugly squish in together! It’s a good thing they love each other. But if they’re not feeling the love, my oldest simply stands on the back while my son enjoys the seat.
In other words, right now, this stroller fits our family perfectly.
I also love the “parent organizer,” a removable neoprene strap that stretches across the handles that houses drinks, cell phones, a wallet, and the like. It’s super narrow, so that when it’s not in use, it hardly takes up any room.
Finally, my six-foot-two hubby loves that the handles are long enough for him to push the stroller without tripping up. His wife, a foot shorter, doesn’t notice the difference, but appreciates that our height differences doesn’t affect this stroller’s usefulness.
It’s a bit on the pricier side for a stroller, but I always value quality. To me, it’s worth it to invest in one good stroller that will stand the test of time than to save a few dollars and end up buying strollers again and again. Thumbs up on this stroller — it’s worth the money.

I would LOVE to have this stroller. I just had a baby 12 weeks ago and our Sit and Stand is too big, I feel like the baby is a mile away in the stroller and it doesn’t turn too well.
I was JUST looking at this the other day. I have 3 little kiddos, all under 5, and this would come in SO handy. I love all the SimpleMom sites. They are encouraging and always jam packed full of great stuff.

I’m expecting our 2nd in November and am kind of in panic mode in terms of strollers, since my little girl and I walk EVERYWHERE right now. This would totally fit the bill!
I would love to have this stroller! I am the youngest of a youngest and the hand-me-downs aren’t even making it anymore! I got married in January and though we’re not expecting yet, it could be any time! This stroller looks amazing! We plan on having more than just one or two kids, so something that will stand the test of time, is easy to use, and works for different ages is a must-have!

I’ve been wanting one of these for a while, but it’s recently become rather important. I’m a major baby-wearer, but my daughter is almost two, plus I have a bad back/shoulders, and I think I’ve reached my limit with wearing her–I’ll have pain for a few days after wearing her for too long. And my four-year-old likes to walk, but not as far as mama.

I would LOVE LOVE this stroller! I have an 8 month old and a three year old-and it is my goal to FINALLY (!!) lose the baby weight this summer. With two kids it is hard to find time, but this stroller would give us planty of reason to get out and Walk! It is so awesome!

I could really use this. I take care of my two young grandsons, I need to walk as I am extremely overweight. My daughter won’t let me use her stroller because she thinks I will lean on it and break the handle. I like the idea of the higher handles, I usually have a problem pushing strollers that have such short handles.

Hi, I love this stroller and I have been looking on Craig’s List for it for months with no success. I need it because I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. The baby is always in the stroller while the older one walks. Trouble is, the older one walks so slowly that it takes us forever to walk anywhere. This would streamline my life so much!

I tow the line with them and they are actually very sweet, but let me tell you, anyone who watches them is exhausted by the end of the day (myself included almost everyday). I would love to have this stroller because I have two kids. Yesterday, I put my 14 month-old in my Ergo pack, and my 3.5 year-old boy walked with me to the post office where we picked up a box and some random mail. Then we went to the library and got a couple books. Carrying the mail, box and books home with a baby on my back was fine. However, my little boy fell down, scraped his knees and then I was balancing him on the box on the mail under by chin, you get the picture. He’s heavy now. Goodness.

This stroller would change my life! We currently live in a small town in China and walking is our primary means of transportation. Now that my youngest is too big to carry in a baby carrier, but too little to walk long distances, it severely limits how far I can go on my own with both kids.

I would love to have this stroller because I have a 2 yr old & 2 1/2 month old, we live overseas & will be traveling a lot in the next year. This would be very useful! I currently only have a single seat stroller.
We just had our third child and our old Joovy is getting pretty worn. Well, it was worn when we bought it used. But we have loved it so much. It just makes sense and now, even with three we’re able to fit everyone. Perhaps that’s why it’s so worn?

Okay…the drool is splashing on my keyboard. I would SO love to win this. My five year old starts kindergarten in the fall and we are planning on walking the 1 mile back and forth each day to save gas and make a statement about simple living. This stroller would be awesome for our trip to Disney World this year! We have a 6 year old, 5 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old traveling together this year.
