I used to loathe folding laundry before I became a mom, but now it’s my favorite chore. I feel productive and I love that fresh from the dryer smell!

I can honestly say without irony that I enjoy organizing anything – it gives me the illusion of control.
My favorite household chore is laundry, mostly, because I am in awe of how machines have made my job so easy, yet satisfying. Lovingly pre-treat clothes (while remembering the fun times you had getting them dirty), add soap & water to the machine, and out they come all nice and clean! Folding laundry is a nice way to cater to my orderly tendencies; everything folded a particular way, in a particular order, for that particular family member.
It’s just such a lovely organized chore.
My favorite household chore is probably cleaning my hardwood floors. They look so good when I’m done.

Those aprons are beautiful! My favorite chore is cooking. It’s hard to think of it as a chore most days – it is one of my passions to provide my family with healthy food.
Most people think I’m crazy but my most favorite household chore is hanging laundry on the clothesline. There’s something therapeutic about it…the repetition, the fresh air, the warmth of the sun, the smell of clean clothes. I miss using my clothesline durning the winter…all the more reason to look forward to spring!

Laundry. I love the laundry system I started in 1995 and, four moves later, have adapted to fit any size laundry room. (The current one is quite tiny.) My kids can do every other household chore but only get a laundry crash course before leaving for college.
Baking! But that’s not really a chore – so, it would have to be tidying my 12month old’s room. Putting away toys, piecing back together his foam, jigsaw alphabet mat, organising his soft toys – it makes me feel like a child again!
Cute aprons! I think I like either vacuuming or laundry the most. Both have such satisfying results.

I work from home, but my husband works at a bank. I love, love ironing his work clothes. Men’s clothing takes starch well.
Washing the dishes – I know, not very exciting, but I wash them by hand and in the midst of winter, sticking my hands in hot, soapy water keeps me warm. The apron is beautiful, thanks for this giveaway!

Haha… I know I could come up with plenty NON-favorite chores, but I’m racking my brain to think of my favorite… I love cooking, so it’s really not a chore. But I do love a nice fluffy clean bed, so I think one of my favorites might be changing the sheets and fluffing the mattress pad/comforter.

Cooking delicious vegan food for my family AND doing laundry. I have had awesome luck buying myself and my family second hand clothing and I enjoy washing our cheap fabulous finds up!
I love vacuuming. I feel a sense of accomplishment when the cup is full of dirt and pet hair!
Cooking is my favorite. I wish I had time to make fancier stuff (like back in my pre-child days), but for now it’s lots of stews, soups, and casseroles.
I love ironing clothes, it’s so relaxing for some reason. If meal planning counts as a chore though than that would rank #1 because it involves cookbooks AND making lists. What more could I ask for?

It’s gotta be laundry. I hate it! Dragging the dirty clothes down two flights of stairs (our machine is in the basement) and then back up. I’d rather clean the toilet with a toothbrush!!!
Ummmmmm, I usually dread starting mopping, but once I start, I like doing it. I especially love the cleanliness feel of freshly mopped floors.
I LOVE that apron! My favorite household chore is deligating the cleaning to the rest of the family so that I can sew, paint, crochet etc, lol!

I would have to say organizing, reshifting, if that makes sense. I love making things work where there was chaos before.
My favorite chores are putting dishes away (not washing) and folding clothes and putting them away. They seem unrelated but they’re both the final stages of a much bigger chore. Once you’re done with those, things are in their place, finally! The joy never lasts, but for a split second, things are in their place.

My Favorite – How about what I don’t mind doing.
1. Vacuuming
2. Shoveling – the light fluffy stuff and the stairs.
3. laundry – the sorting, washing and drying part. Don’t like the folding and putting away.
4. grocery shopping. Love it! I get to spend money.
Finishing the laundry.. hands down! Notice I don’t talk about the process just the finishing part
I also like home organization A LOT but I am not sure that counts. I will choose organizing a cupboard or closet any day of the week!!!!!

My favorite chore is taking care of the dishes in the dishwasher. This gives me a sense of accomplishment in a short period of time and helps to keep my kitchen clean the rest of the day as I can load the dirty dishes into the dishwasher as we use them.

My favorite household chore would be washing dishes. It can be quite meditative. A close second would be folding clothes straight out of the dryer, when they are nice and hot. I simply can’t stand folding cold, wrinkled clothes!

…..but if I have to pick I would say vaccuming. Something about getting the carpet and rugs clean that makes the whole room feel cleaner (plus it’s a good workout!)

My favorite chore is organizing a drawer or a shelf or a closet. I love that I look and it is messy then poof, it is all lined up and visually appealing.

My favorite household “chore” (can you even call it that?!?) is making bread, and really just cooking in general.
If were talking about things I would really call a chore, I’d have to say my favorite is making the bed. It is a quick and easy chore that really makes a difference in how I feel about the house.

I can’t think of a single chore I like to do. Maybe a new apron will inspire.
The chores that are the least drudgery to me are making beds, dealing with home finances, and planning weekly menus. Cooking isn’t a chore.

Right now, my favorite chore is unloading the dishwasher – because my 2 year old delights in helping me – as soon as she hears the dishwasher door open, she comes a-running… saying, “Momma, I help! I help!” She makes this dull task So Much Fun!

My favorite household chore is vacuuming. I love how clean everything looks when you’re done.
I love your site! And the apron is so clever and cute!!! My favorite chore… is vacuuming. The ritual of moving furniture, the virtual treasure hunt for lost toys, and the satisfaction of a crisp room (at least until the kids enter it!)… very nice.
I like making the beds. That is usually at the bottom of my chore list so when I get them made it looks nice and I feel like I completed my chore list!
I LOVE vacuuming. I like the rythmn of it and the way the it makes neat little tracks on my carpet. I hate seeing little fuzz and specks on my rug, so I vacuum at least every other day (I have only one rug in my house, so it’s not much).
