A Holiday Giveaway: Lisa Leonard!

This giveaway is now closed.

I‘ve got a special treat for you today. In light of the holiday season, we’ve got a giveaway from my favorite jewelry maker, Lisa Leonard!

I’m a longtime fan of Lisa’s, and I’ve written about her several times before. Any time I wear any of her necklaces, I get comments. I love that her work is both feminine and natural, without being overly girly.

paperlantern4

And I love some of her new pieces, like this paper lantern necklace. I think this is so unique! That’s the best thing about Lisa Leonard jewelry — every piece is a one-of-a-kind, since she hammers each piece of silver by hand. Most of the selections are customizable as well.

So this week, three Simple Mom readers will win a $50 gift certificate to Lisa Leonard Designs! Just in time for the holidays.

Here’s how to enter:

1. Check out her store, then come back here and leave a comment. Tell me — what would you order if you won the gift certificate, and who would it be for?

2. To get a second entry, tweet about this giveaway — use the “retweet” button at the bottom of the post.

3. To get a third entry, post about this giveaway on your own blog, and make sure you link to this exact post (not the home page, SimpleMom.net), so that it will leave a trackback.

This giveaway is open to U.S. and Canadian addresses. It will end this Saturday, November 21 at 11:59 p.m. EST. I hope you win!

  17. avatar Erin Jurnove says:

So hard to choose just one! I would get Baby’s First Spoon for my good friend who just had a baby girl. It’s something that she can use every day and be reminded of our friendship every time she uses it. Then I’d splurge for, um, me: the Family Crest Necklace and the Be Still Necklace. My son is getting old enough that I can start wearing necklaces again without worrying about them being broken.

  18. avatar jan wilson says:

I would get the family tree necklace for my sister in law. That is my favorite!

  19. avatar sonja says:

i would get the “be still” necklace and i would hold onto it for my sweet daughter who is almost 3 months old. our journey to her was one where we were called to “be still and wait” for a while – that’s not an easy thing to do!! :) i would want to pass it to her, though, as a reminder that we are called to be still and know that HE is God – even when things don’t make sense or when things don’t happen in “our” time. a sweet necklace like that would be a good reminder to me and to her as she grows up!
    .-= sonja´s last blog ..Thankful 18 =-.

  20. avatar Emily says:

I have had my eye on the necklace Lisa Leonard makes called “Be Still.” I work in a place called “the nest” so I love the bird motif and there is a simple song we start the year with called “Be still and know that I am God.” This necklace is so lovely and it would keep my work close to my heart, keeping my intentions in the right place.

  31. avatar Rachel says:

How could I choose how to spend a gift certificate??? My mom deserves the fly free necklace, as she is finally finding her wings at age 59 (Go, Mom!) My husband would love the cuff bracelet (and it would look hot on him!). I would love the ring with my kids’ names on it. But the limit is 20 characters, and with 4 kids, I could only fit them all on if the spaces don’t count as characters! Regardless, I could find something for everyone I love. Her stuff is so beautiful and original!

  32. avatar Martine says:

I love all the jewelry, but I would get the family tree necklace for my mom.

  33. avatar Jodi says:

I love them all but would probably buy the itty bitty hearts necklace for myself! After baby #2 my husband gave me a beautiful family necklace with the 4 of us. 38. avatar Hope says:

I’d use it for the “Little Feet”. We lost our daughter at 37 weeks (whom we nicknamed Peanut) in March of 2009, and I’ve looked for a necklace that would celebrate her life and the gift from God that she was to me and the many others who prayed for her.

I would definitely choose the “Hope Necklace” because it is…well, it’s my motto (see my blog) ever since I had a relapse of leukemia & survived the bone marrow transplant and liver & kidney failure that resulted from it. I would give it as a gift to my mother. She would cry. Angels would sing. All would be well with the world :)

I would choose so many of her pieces, but I really like the laundry line necklace (to honor my precious family) and the sweetheart tree necklace, both would be selfishly worn by me! I also really like the sisters necklace and baby’s first spoon as gifts for loved ones. So sweet!
