This giveaway is now closed.

I‘ve got a special treat for you today. In light of the holiday season, we’ve got a giveaway from my favorite jewelry maker, Lisa Leonard!

I’m a longtime fan of Lisa’s, and I’ve written about her several times before. Any time I wear any of her necklaces, I get comments. I love that her work is both feminine and natural, without being overly girly.

paperlantern4

And I love some of her new pieces, like this paper lantern necklace. I think this is so unique! That’s the best thing about Lisa Leonard jewelry — every piece is a one-of-a-kind, since she hammers each piece of silver by hand. Most of the selections are customizable as well.

So this week, three Simple Mom readers will win a $50 gift certificate to Lisa Leonard Designs! Just in time for the holidays.

Here’s how to enter:

1. Check out her store, then come back here and leave a comment. Tell me — what would you order if you won the gift certificate, and who would it be for?

2. To get a second entry, tweet about this giveaway — use the “retweet” button at the bottom of the post.

3. To get a third entry, post about this giveaway on your own blog, and make sure you link to this exact post (not the home page, SimpleMom.net), so that it will leave a trackback.

This giveaway is open to U.S. and Canadian addresses. It will end this Saturday, November 21 at 11:59 p.m. EST. I hope you win!

I love this woman’s design work!! I’m a graphic designer so I really admire her handiwork and her simple designs. Also, I used to be into making jewelry, but I couldn’t do silver because it is just so hard! I love the Sweet Simple Birdie necklace. I’ve always been partial to the bird motif, and would totally get a tattoo of it, but I think a necklace would be a little less permanent! :)

2 cara h November 19, 2009 at 4:17 pm

i’d buy a captured heart necklace for my friend who lost her oldest daughter to brain cancer. i think that she’d love to wear her name around her neck.

3 Carrie November 19, 2009 at 4:18 pm

I have her bitty hearts and LOVE it. I have had a million compliments!!! I’m ready to move up to the clothes line now. It would be a must for me, myself and I…. don’t we all deserve a bit of spoiling sometimes… heeheehee

4 Melanie November 19, 2009 at 4:20 pm

I love so many of her necklaces that this would be a very tough choice. I would get the sister necklace for my sister. I have been eying it for a while. It captures our relationship.

5 Rita November 19, 2009 at 4:24 pm

I really love the “be still” and “Fly free” necklaces…inspiration for my daughter who is getting closer and closer to 16 and for me as I navigate through a tough divorce.

6 sara November 19, 2009 at 4:25 pm

I would get the “be still” necklace for myself!

I love Lisa’s jewlry and would be hard pressed to choose. I think I’d use a gift certificate to buy the Sweet and Simple Birdie, but would be tempted by the Sea Star, as well. Thanks for the contest!

15 Sara November 19, 2009 at 4:39 pm

I’d probably get the original necklace. It’s simple and beautiful, and I’d love a piece of jewelry that is personal. I rarely wear jewelry because the few pieces I have are a little fancy for everyday wear, so it would be great to get something girly but practical. :) Thanks!

16 Cynthia November 19, 2009 at 4:44 pm

oooh I love Lisa’s designs!! So many that I could choose, but it’s a toss up between wish necklace and the fly free necklace. Oh but I also LOVE the teeny tiny initials necklace!!

I love the “Mama” necklace. I would love to give that to my Mother-in-law. She is a caregiver for my father-in-law with Alzheimers, and spends her days giving sacrificially. I’d love to spoil her, to remind her that we love her for how she’s inspired us and cared for us all these years.

20 Mary November 19, 2009 at 4:49 pm

Definitely the teeny tiny intials necklace!

21 cagey November 19, 2009 at 4:51 pm

I don’t enter a lot of giveaways, but this is worth it.

I love the simplicity of her designs and my favorite was the Friendship necklace. Selfishly, for myself.

In other words, it would be very hard to choose. But I think I’m up to the challenge.

I would love this to give to her as an outward and visible sign of our love for and dedication to her. Besides- no one has ever given her jewelry, not even my father!

82 Mike Dawkins November 19, 2009 at 6:20 pm

My wife is new to your website but is a huge fan. I noticed this giveaway you are doing while she had to run an errand and looked at the necklaces. I would order her the “little charms necklace” because she has always wanted something with our children’s names that she could wear but it has always been hard to find something for her simple taste.

She is expecting our 5th child in late January and this would make a perfect Christmas gift for our children to give to their mother.
