Okay, loyal readers, I’m going to be right up front and ask you for a big favor. There are a lot of blog awards out there, and The Bloggies are sort-of the equivalent of the Oscars for blogs. Well… Simple Mom was recently nominated for Best New Weblog in the 2009 Bloggies.
I am shocked. Shocked. And humbled, and grateful. The Bloggies are won by blogs like Pioneer Woman, and Dooce, and Boing Boing. But Simple Mom?
Voting runs until Monday, February 2 at 10 p.m. EST. And if I understand correctly, you can vote as many times as you want. So, if you have nothing to do on this fine Saturday, then feel free to refresh and vote all day.
Actually, don’t do that. Vote a few times, then go outside and play with your kids.

Am I missing something? I can’t for the life of me figure HOW to vote! Maybe it’s because I’m using Google Chrome?

The site is a little weird – you scroll horizontally, not vertically. Perhaps that’s it.

Ummm…not sure if this is talking about we voters, but it says in the rules that if you attempt to submit a second ballot the first will be replaced. Does that still mean we can vote as many times as we want?
