Even though he is 3, my son still loves dumping and pouring anything – rice, beans, flour (if it’s warm enough to do it outside!), etc.

My grandchildren stay with us overnight one night on the weekends. They recently started creating things using artistic duct/electrical tape. Wallets, book holders, airplanes, hair pieces, glass cases, no end to what they can make. They are going to be holding a “sale” when the weather gets nicer and donating the proceeds to needy families in our city…

When my daughter was two, I used to fill up a big stock pot with extremely soapy water drain out the water leaving the pot FULL of bubbles. She would sit and play with them for at least 20 minutes before the bubbles disappeared. Shereally enjoyed just playing in the bubbles, and it gave me peace while I cooked dinner.
